The reality of the imminent rapture.

The reality of the imminent rapture

Romans  15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

1 Corinthians  10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

The scriptures say things written aforetime are for our learning.

The Bible reveals three people in Bible days, that  have experienced the rapture..

Two in the old testament represented the living saints.

Enoch and Elijah.

Christ our Master and Lord in the new testament represented the dead, that will rise and be caught up to heave

Jesus

Mark  16:2 And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.  16:3 And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre?  16:4 And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.  16:5 And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted.  16:6 And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.  16:19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

1. Enoch in the old testament

Genesis  5:21 And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:  5:22 And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:  5:23 And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:

5:24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

Hebrews  11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

Elijah

2 Kings  2:9 And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me.  2:10 And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so.  2:11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.  2:12 And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and

 rent them in two pieces.

Christ our Master and Lord promised, He is coming back to receive us to himself.

John  14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.  14:2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.  14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

.The Holy Spirit says the imminent rapture will happen suddenly and the dead in Christ shall rise first, followed by the living saints.

1 Corinthians  15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,  15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

1 Thessalonians  4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.  4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.  4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

To be ready when He comes, you must be biblically saved and walking in biblical holiness lifestyle.

Luke  1:75 In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.

Make sure you have done all your restitutions.

Acts  24:16 And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men.

You must abide in Him and His words.

1 John  2:28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

His unfailing grace will be sufficient  for you in Jesus name

2 Corinthians  9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

for you.

Let us pray.
