Light afflictions pathway to eternity with God for Bible believing believers of all ages.
1 Peter 4:12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 4:13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
Beloved when you turn to Christ in wholehearted surrender and you make Him, your Saviour and Lord.
When you choose to follow the narrow road that leads to heaven, then you must not be surprised by the unavoidable challenges and pains that you will continually be experiencing till you get to heaven.
Listen to what the Bible says.
Acts 14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.
Our Master and Lord Jesus Christ said in Him, you have peace but in the world, tribulation or unavoidable challenges.
John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
In addition, He said the troubles are momentary, it for a brief period compared to eternity.
Revelation 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
Your rewards in heaven for all eternity will be commensurate to the extent of your challenges on earth.
2 Corinthians 4:17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
So don’t be surprised but endure to the end.
1 John 3:13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.
Matthew 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
