Preaching and living by the truth and it’s consequences.

Preaching and living by the truth for Jesus and it’s consequences.

Matthew  28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:  28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Our Master and Lord Jesus Christ left His faithful followers of all ages and you in particular to do and teach the entirety of God’s words.

Doing this will enable you to delight God in heaven and bring you to unequal favour and blessings from Him.

On  the other hand, this will bring you to indescribable attack and persecution from the devil and his cohorts.

This was the exact situation, Stephen one of the seven deacons in the early church found himself.

Acts  7:51 Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.  7:52 Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:  7:53 Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it.  7:54 When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.  7:55 But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,  7:56 And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.  7:57 Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord,  7:58 And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man’s feet, whose name was Saul.  7:59 And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.  7:60 And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

Like Stephen, even our Master and Lord suffered the same faith in the hands of obstinate and reprobate Sanhedrin.

This was exactly what Jesus did and brought Him to trouble with the Sanhedrin.

Acts  1:1 The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,

Same thing will happen to you when you embrace and replicate the lifestyle of Jesus.

John  15:18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.  15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.  15:20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.  15:21 But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me.

You will be unusually hated and persecuted.

Matthew  10:21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.  10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

Matthew  24:9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.

Mark  13:12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.  13:13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Luke  21:16 And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.  21:17 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake.

You must as a matter of compulsion endure it till Christ comes.

This attitude from the agents of satan must never surprised you.

1 John  3:13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.

Our Master and Lord Jesus Christ from glory exhorted you in particular to be faithful to the end and receive your befitting rewards in eternity.

Revelation  2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

But then you must cleave to Christ through thick and thin.

Acts  11:23 Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord.

Nothing must separate you from Him.

Romans  8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?  8:36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.  8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.  8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,  8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

You must endure to the end and till Christ comes.

Revelation  2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

Then here and hereafter like Joseph and others you will be commensurately rewarded.

His grace will be sufficient for you till the end in Jesus name.

Let us pray.
