Rest from challenges through Christ.
Mark 5:25 And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, 5:26 And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, 5:27 When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. 5:28 For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. 5:29 And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. 5:30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes? 5:31 And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? 5:32 And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing. 5:33 But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth. 5:34 And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.
Life is full of challenges and troubles.
Job 5:6 Although affliction cometh not forth of the dust, neither doth trouble spring out of the ground; 5:7 Yet man is born unto trouble, as the sparks fly upward.
Only as we reach out to Christ wholeheartedly can we find total rest.
Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Christ gives us rest from all forms of troubles.
Isaiah 14:3 And it shall come to pass in the day that the LORD shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made to serve,
It is not just on this side of heaven alone. He gives us eternal rest.
Revelation 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
We receive His tests by choosing Him through thick and thin.
Hebrews 7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
This woman with the issue of blood, decided to turn her back to everything and wholly lean on Christ.
Mark 5:27 When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. 5:28 For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. 5:29 And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague
Christ our Master and Lord has not changed.
Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
If you too will do what the woman with the issue of blood did, you will experience same thing.
John 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
Come now and receive your own rest and desired healings too.
Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
He will biblically saved and sanctify you and heal and deliver you too.
Let us pray.
