Biblical convictions and principles, conditions for eternity with God.

Biblical convictions and principles conditions for eternity with God.

Luke  13:24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

Beloved, always remember this. Eternity with God will require you to walk with biblical convictions and principles.

You will need to follow the costly and painful strait gate, that multitude around you will despise, because of their ignorance of the eternal consequences.

No doubt there are two roads and presently you are waiting on one leading you to eternity with God or everlasting sufferings

Matthew  7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:  7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

There can not be any middle ground. You are either presently serving Jesus that guarantees your eternal wellbeing or serving satan that opens doors for eternal sufferings.

Matthew  6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

You will see multitude that glaringly choose to follow the path to damnation.

Jeremiah  6:16 Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.

But then you must be resolute, because of your determination to follow biblical convictions and principles that leads to eternity with God and continue your walk on the road that leads to heaven.

Isaiah  35:8 And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.  35:9 No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there:

This is because you are considering your eternal wellbeing.

Deuteronomy  32:29 O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!

The following are examples of saints of old in both the old and new testaments who strictly followed biblical convictions and principles, despite the painful consequences on athis side

Nehemiah

Nehemiah  6:1 Now it came to pass, when Sanballat, and Tobiah, and Geshem the Arabian, and the rest of our enemies, heard that I had builded the wall, and that there was no breach left therein; (though at that time I had not set up the doors upon the gates;)  6:2 That Sanballat and Geshem sent unto me, saying, Come, let us meet together in some one of the villages in the plain of Ono. But they thought to do me mischief.  6:3 And I sent messengers unto them, saying, I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down: why should the work cease, whilst I leave it, and come down to you?  6:4 Yet they sent unto me four times after this sort; and I answered them after the same manner.  6:10 Afterward I came unto the house of Shemaiah the son of Delaiah the son of Mehetabeel, who was shut up; and he said, Let us meet together in the house of God, within the temple, and let us shut the doors of the temple: for they will come to slay thee; yea, in the night will they come to slay thee.  6:11 And I said, Should such a man as I flee? and who is there, that, being as I am, would go into the temple to save his life? I will not go in.

The three Hebrews.

Daniel  3:13 Then Nebuchadnezzar in his rage and fury commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Then they brought these men before the king.  3:14 Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up?  3:15 Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?  3:16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter.  3:17 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.  3:18 But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

Daniel.

Daniel  6:4 Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.  6:5 Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God.  6:10 Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.  6:11 Then these men assembled, and found Daniel praying and making supplication before his God.  6:12 Then they came near, and spake before the king concerning the king’s decree; Hast thou not signed a decree, that every man that shall ask a petition of any God or man within thirty days, save of thee, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions? The king answered and said, The thing is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not.  6:13 Then answered they and said before the king, That Daniel, which is of the children of the captivity of Judah, regardeth not thee, O king, nor the decree that thou hast signed, but maketh his petition three times a day.

Peter

Acts  8:14 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:  8:15 Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:  8:16 (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)  8:17 Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.  8:18 And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,  8:19 Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost.  8:20 But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.  8:21 Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God.  8:22 Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.  8:23 For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity.

Paul

Acts  24:24 And after certain days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, which was a Jewess, he sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ.  24:25 And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.  24:26 He hoped also that money should have been given him of Paul, that he might loose him: wherefore he sent for him the oftener, and communed with him.  24:27 But after two years Porcius Festus came into Felix’ room: and Felix, willing to shew the Jews a pleasure, left Paul bound.

There is example of people in this present dispensation.

Don’t ever renege in following the biblical principles below, they guarantee your eternal wellbeing.

1. Always seek first the kingdom of God, before considering anything, no matter the gains.

Be eternity conscious.

Matthew  6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Colossians  3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.  3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.  3:3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.  3:4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

2. Never ever gain anything no matter the value at the expense of your precious undying soul.

Matthew  16:26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Resist with all your strength and even your blood to cut off and separate from anyone, and anything that can send you to hell.

Matthew  18:8 Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.  18:9 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.

God’s unfailing grace will be sufficient for you in Jesus name.

2 Corinthians  9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
