Earthly and eternal blessings through serving God according to His perfect willi.

Exodus  23:25 And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.  23:26 There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.

John  12:26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

Beloved Brethren always remember, you are created to serve God.

Exodus 8:1  And the LORD spake unto Moses, Go unto Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Let my people go, that they may serve me.

But then How do you serve the Lord according to His perfect willi?

Joshua  24:14 Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD. 

1. Serve God with sincerity and truth and have no other God beside Him.

Psalms  2:11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

2. Serve the Lord with fear, depart from all evil 

Proverbs  3:7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

Luke  12:5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

How do you fear God. Reverential fear , not slavish fear.

Hebrews  12:28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

Psalms  100:2 Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.

3. Serve God with gladness, be thankful in all circumstances, knowing that all things work together for good.

1 Thessalonians  5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Romans  8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Romans  12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.  12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

4. Serve God Walk with Him in biblical holiness lifestyle and avoid everything the Bible refers to as worldliness.

1 John  2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.  2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.  2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Romans  12:11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;

5. Serve God be diligent, working with your hands.

1 Thessalonians  4:11 And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;  4:12 That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing.

Proverbs  22:29 Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.

John  12:26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

6. Serve the Lord, follow Jesus everywhere and follow Him to live eternally with Him.

Revelation  14:4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.  14:5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.

Deuteronomy  28:47 Because thou servedst not the LORD thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things;  28:48 Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the LORD shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee.

7. Serve the Lord and escape the damnation of hell.

Remember your principal enemy is satan. You can have two masters. If you don’t serve God, then you serve satan.

1 Peter  5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Hell and lake of fire are prepared for him and everyone that serve Him 

Matthew  25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

So serve God. Follow Jesus and avoid eternal damnation.

Serve the Lord and His earthly and eternal blessings shall be yours in Jesus name.
