The Lord’s departure from His church.

The Lord’s departure from His church

Judges  16:20 And she said, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he awoke out of his sleep, and said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself. And he wist not that the LORD was departed from him.

1 Samuel  4:21 And she named the child Ichabod, saying, The glory is departed from Israel: because the ark of God was taken, and because of her father in law and her husband.  4:22 And she said, The glory is departed from Israel: for the ark of God is taken.

Beloved it is very very unfortunate, but true that more than 90% of the churches of Christ, globally are Ichabod, the glory of God has departed.

They are like Samson the Lord has departed.

Why are we so confident that, this is the true state of the churches globally?

They detest the love for the truth of God’s words and He in turn has send them strong delusion to believe lies and be damned.

2 Thessalonians  2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.  2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:  2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Very very unfortunate, they have departed from the faith, meaning they pick and choose what to believe in the Bible.

1 Timothy  4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;  4:2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

From outside they look religious but far from righteousness. The Bible emphatically say, you should dissociate with them.

2 Timothy  3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.  3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,  3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,  3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;  3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

What these churches do is to choose motivational speakers, not heaven bound ministers.  They distant themselves from godly ministers.

Isaiah  30:10 Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:

Jeremiah  5:31 The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?

2 Timothy  4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;  4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

The Bible says they are reprobate.

Titus  1:16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

The glorified Son of God and the the righteous judge said, He will spue them out of His mouth.

Revelation  3:14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;  3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.  3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.  3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:  3:18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.  3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.  3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Beloved, be very sincere to yourself. Do you belong to one of these churches that, the Lord has walked out from there midst and is now outside, giving them opportunity to welcome Him back to His midst?

Examine yourself.

If you are found wanting, do the needful. Repent and locate heaven bound ministers and associate with them. The bucks stops with you.

It is your eternal wellbeing that is at stake. Be wise and don’t allow your precious undying soul to be damned..

God’s grace is sufficient for you.

2 Corinthians  9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

Let us pray.
