You are a Stranger in the earth. Do everything to get home in heaven.

You are a Stranger in this world, do everything to get home.

Hebrews  11:13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

Beloved, remember you are sojourning on earth. You are on a transit. This world is not your home..

God has decided He will give 120 years to all humanity. But then most often they don’t get there.

Genesis  6:3 And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

A day in your home in heaven is a thousand years of blissful eternity with the Godhead.

2 Peter  3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Don’t allow satan with his subtilty make you exchange your birthright and give you transient things and make you loose your precious undying soul. He will abysmally fail in Jesus name.

Matthew  16:26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Your real home is heaven, this place of sojourning is temporal.

1 Chronicles  29:15 For we are strangers before thee, and sojourners, as were all our fathers: our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is none abiding.

Psalms  39:12 Hear my prayer, O LORD, and give ear unto my cry; hold not thy peace at my tears: for I am a stranger with thee, and a sojourner, as all my fathers were.

Psalms  119:19 I am a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me.

1 Peter  1:17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:

Listen to the AMP version of this stricture.

.

1 Peter 1:17,19

[17]And if you call upon Him as [your] Father Who judges each one impartially according to what he does, [then] you should conduct yourselves with true reverence throughout the time of your temporary residence [on the earth, whether long or short].

1 Peter  2:11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;

God is sending urgent message to all the strangers wherever we are resident on earth.

1 Peter  1:1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,

If we are strangers then like Abraham, we should be doing everything to get  to our home in  heaven.

Hebrews  11:9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:  11:10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.  11:14 For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.  11:15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.  11:16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

God has prepared a city for us, you must do everything to get there.

To get there you must walk on the road that leads there.

Matthew  7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:  7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Isaiah  35:8 And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.  35:9 No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there:  35:10 And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

Don’t behave like churchgoers who decline to follow the way, but choose another one for themselves.

Jeremiah  6:16 Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.

Proverbs  14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Follow the one person that knows the way home.

John  8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

When you follow Jesus home, you will overcome all the storms of the way.

Psalms  107:27 They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wit’s end.  107:28 Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses.  107:29 He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.  107:30 Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.

To get to the desired haven, follow Jesus as a surrendered sheep.

John  10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:  10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

The good Lord shall help you in Jesus name.

Let us pray.
