Saints triumph in unexplainable trials.

Saints triumph in unexplainable trials.

Job  13:14 Wherefore do I take my flesh in my teeth, and put my life in mine hand?  13:15 Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.

Beloved, many times, saints that are striving to live for God are severely troubled.

But then these troubles must not separate you from the Lord

Roman  8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?  8:36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.  8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.  8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,  8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

These troubles are common temptations.

1 Cor 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Our Master and Lord has informed you about them.

Joh  16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

They are working for your good.

Romans  8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

And will earn you great rewards in eternity.

Revelation  2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

You must continue to manifest right attitude till the end.

1. Be thankful because God is moderating them.

1 Thessalonians  5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

2. Don’t faint.

Proverbs  24:10 If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.

3. But pray.

Luke  18:1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

Philippians  4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

4. Don’t be unhappy with God and Christ.

Isaiah  45:9 Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?

Matthew  11:6 And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.

5. Be patient with God to address the situation.

Hebrews  10:35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.  10:36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.  10:37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.  10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.  10:39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

Remember Abraham went through similar circumstances and triumphed.

Romans  4:17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.  4:18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.  4:19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb:  4:20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;  4:21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

You also will triumph and God’s grace will be sufficient for you.

2 Corinthians  9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

Let us pray.
