Harvest is past and we are not saved
Jeremiah 8:20 The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.
The Lord was lamenting about the backslidden of His people. He had done eating to bring them back to Himself, for them to avert the consequences of departing from the Lord.
But everything He had done proved abortive.
That can be likening to the present position of some churchgoers today.
Year 2025, the Lord had done everything to bring them into the faith, for them to avert eternal damnation at the event of untimely death or missing partaking in the imminent rapture, should the trumpet suddenly sound now.
Pause and sincerely examine yourself. Perhaps God is talking about you.
He has done everything to make you acknowledge Him as your God. Very unfortunately , you have your idol. Something you love more than Him, competing with your love for Him.
Even though you are attending church, you are not really His own because you have something, you are presently pursuing that has taken His position in your heart.
This you have done all through 2025 and you are still doing so, even now in the new year.
In deed for you, the harvest is past and summer is ended and you are not saved, ready for eternity with Him or partaking in the imminent rapture.
Remember you can not serve God and mammon.
Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
The same thing can be said about the road you are presently walking.
God has done everything to bring you to the narrow road, but all His good efforts have proved abortive, because you are still on the broad road that leadeth to damnation.
Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
It can be said of many churchgoers and perhaps you. You are aware that heaven is real and heal is real. However, presently you are doing things that, should you die now, you will go to hell. Should the trumpet sound now, you will miss the rapture. Harvest in deed is past for you.
Matthew 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
Can it not be said about some and may be you. True you are going to church, but you are just a churchgoer. You are not born again. You are not a Christian. You are not a new creature. For you harvest is really past and you are not biblically saved.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Brother, Sister, you are aware that as a true child of God, you must not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. But you can actually not be placed, whether you are really a child of God, because there is no difference between you and unbelievers. You resemble them, you are doing what they are doing. Harvest is past concerning you, unfortunately you are not saved.
2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 6:15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
You are aware you must not be in friendship with the world, for you not to be the enemy of God. Unfortunately, you love the world so much and you are friendly with them.
Harvest is past concerning you, unfortunately you are not saved.
James 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
As you sincerely examine yourself, you discover you are very cold. You are not actually burning for Christ and neither are you altogether a pagan.
You are neither a child of God nor satan worshipper. You can never make it to heaven, should you die now.
Harvest is past concerning you, unfortunately you are not saved.
Revelation 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
It is true that you are churchy. You are doing something for God in your church and perhaps paying your tithes regularly and even showing seed.
Very very unfortunately, your name is in the register of your assembly, but not in the book of life in heaven.
Harvest is past concerning you, unfortunately you are not saved.
Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Now that God has brought you to 2026. There is likelihood that the imminent rapture might take place this year or even, you can be called home in yonder this year.
Will you not heed the timely warning of the Lord, so that harvest will not pass concerning you and unfortunately you are not saved.
May God help you to remember your latter end and be wise in Jesus name.
Deuteronomy 32:29 O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!
Remember His timely warning now according to His words. Harvest is past and we are not saved.
