Fasting and prayer and your lifetime healthiness and fulfilment

Jeremiah  1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

Beloved Brethren, God has a mission for you on earth to fulfill, to bring glory to His name and impact His kingdom positively.

Psalms  35:27 Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.

Acts  8:5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.  8:6 And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.  8:7 For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed.  8:8 And there was great joy in that city.

In addition, He wants you to live long to make your life a blessing to the church and the world.

Psalms  91:16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

But then satan has schemes and devices to truncate your mission.

2 Corinthians  2:11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

Learn from what happened to the disciples of Christ.

1 Corinthians  10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

Mark  9:17 And one of the multitude answered and said, Master, I have brought unto thee my son, which hath a dumb spirit;  9:18 And wheresoever he taketh him, he teareth him: and he foameth, and gnasheth with his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out; and they could not.  9:19 He answereth him, and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him unto me.  9:20 And they brought him unto him: and when he saw him, straightway the spirit tare him; and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foaming.  9:21 And he asked his father, How long is it ago since this came unto him? And he said, Of a child.  9:22 And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us.  9:25 When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him.  9:26 And the spirit cried, and rent him sore, and came out of him: and he was as one dead; insomuch that many said, He is dead.  9:27 But Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him up; and he arose.  

Jesus did the incredible and broke the yoke.

The disciples were amazed and were wondering why they couldn’t do it.

9:28 And when he was come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could not we cast him out?  9:29 And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.

It will take fasting and prayer to accomplish your mission on earth.

Only through the weapon you will subside the fiery darts of the devil.

Unfortunately, you present situation is just like the lifestyle of the disciples of Christ before His ascension.

Matthew  9:14 Then came to him the disciples of John, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees fast oft, but thy disciples fast not?

Pause,  when last have you deprived yourself of food to increase the anointing that can stop the incursions of satan?

Fo you to fulfill your mission on earth, fasting is a compilation not optional.

Matthew  6:16 Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

Jesus said when you fast, not if you fast.

Even the unbelievers are wiser than you in the areas of fasting.

Luke  18:11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.  18:12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.

Listen to God’s expectations from you concerning fasting and prayer.

Acts  13:2 As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.

2 Corinthians  6:5 In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings;

2 Corinthians  11:27 In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.

You must be biblically saved and sanctified and walking with God in daily biblical holiness lifestyle.

Then you must engage in regular fasting and prayer.

Then you will be healthy, fulfilled and be used to advance Christ’s kingdom and healed the sick.

Mark  16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.  16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.  16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;  16:18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.  16:20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
