Taking advantage of the prayer of Jesus.

Taking advantage of Jesus’s prayer as His true disciple, requisite for readiness for the imminent rapture or eternity with God.

John  17:24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

John  14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

John  17:8 For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.  17:14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.  17:16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.  17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

There are three biblical qualities of a true disciple of Christ.

1. Receptive and living by the entirety of God’s words in the Bible till Christ comes.

John  17:8 For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.

Matthew  4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

2. Not loving the world or being worldly in lifestyle.

1 Timothy  5:6 But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth.

James  4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

1 John  2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.  2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.  2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

3. Living daily the lifestyle of a biblically sanctified disciple of Christ.

1 Thessalonians  5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

God’s unfailing grace will be sufficient for you at all times.

2 Corinthians  9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

Remember Jesus is coming back for us and has prayed for us to live eternally with Him in heaven.

Let us pray.
