Job: Glorious Redeemer.

STUDYING  JESUS FROM THE BIBLE.  JOB   – THE  GLORIOUS REDEEMER .  MARCH  17 TH   2025

The bible from Genesis to revelation contains sixty six books.  The whole books of the bible reveals Jesus Christ our Lord.

He commanded us to search the scriptures and we will find it so.   Jhn 5: 39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

Today we want to study what the book of Job reveals about our Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus was  revealed as the GLORIOUS REDEEMER.

The book of Job revealed the story of a man that knew God. That love God, but faced sever challenges that threaten his faith.

Job trusted the Lord all through and the Lord brought a glorious recovery of His situation which was far better than the beginning.

In the same token, we as redeemed Christians might be going through some sever and traumatic challenges.

We should remember that, our Redeemer that helped Job, still liveth and will do, what He did for Job in our own lives too.

JOB 19:25-27, 13:12-15, 42:12-17.

Job  19:25 For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:  19:26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:  19:27 Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.

Job  13:14 Wherefore do I take my flesh in my teeth, and put my life in mine hand?  13:15 Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.

Job  42:12 So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.  42:13 He had also seven sons and three daughters.  42:14 And he called the name of the first, Jemima; and the name of the second, Kezia; and the name of the third, Kerenhappuch.  42:15 And in all the land were no women found so fair as the daughters of Job: and their father gave them inheritance among their brethren.  42:16 After this lived Job an hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons’ sons, even four generations.  42:17 So Job died, being old and full of days.

Just like Job , belivers today go through similar challenges, that made them wonder whether God is worth serving.

But, if you will trust in God, wait on God like Job did. A better end awaits every one of us in Jesus name.

ISA 50:10.

Isaiah  50:10 Who is among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his God.

1.THE TESTIMONY OF CHRIST OUR LIVING REDEEMER.

2.  THE TRAUMATIC CHALLENGES OF THE LOYAL REDEEMED..

3.. THE TIMELY CONQUEST THROUGH OUR LIVING REDEEMER.

1.THE TESTIMONY OF CHRIST OUR LIVING REDEEMER.

Jesus Christ our Redeemer liveth forever and ever. REV 5:8-9, 1 PET 1:1-19, REV 1:17-18, JHN 14:19, PROV 23:11, JER 50:34.

Revelation  5:8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.  5:9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

1 Peter  1:18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;  1:19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

John  14:19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

Proverbs  23:11 For their redeemer is mighty; he shall plead their cause with thee.

Jeremiah  50:34 Their Redeemer is strong; the LORD of hosts is his name: he shall throughly plead their cause, that he may give rest to the land, and disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon.

Our Redeemer, the Lord Jesus Christ liveth  forever. He is able to deliver us from every challenge confronting us now or even in the future.

Jeremiah  31:11 For the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he.

2.  THE TRAUMATIC CHALLENGES OF THE LOYAL REDEEMED..

When we come to receive Jesus as our Redeemer, we need to remember, that our faith will be challenged with trials

But we must persevere to the end.

1 Peter  1:7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

Mark  13:13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

We must never backslide because of challenges.

Proverbs  24:10 If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.

2 Timothy  2:11 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:  2:12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:  2:13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

As loyal redeemed followers of Christ, we should not be surprised  because of Lack, failure, persecutions.

They must not separate us from the love of Christ.

He is aware of what we are going through.

Revelation  2:8 And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;  2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.  2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

Romans  8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?  8:36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.  8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.  8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,  8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

John  16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Acts  14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

2 Timothy  3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

1 Peter  4:12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:  4:13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

You say is not better then not to be a Christian and avoid all these problems.

Unbelievers also have the same challenges too.

But the redeemed received help of the Lord, while they don’t have anyone to help them.

1 Peter  5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.  5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:  5:9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

3.. THE TIMELY CONQUEST THROUGH OUR LIVING REDEEMER.

It is true that we as the redeemed had uncommon trials.

But our living Redeemer has always been intervening at the right time.

Remember Shadrack, Meshack and Abdenigo in the furnace of fire.

The Redeemer was there at the right time.

Remember Daniel in the den of lions.

Remember the children of Israel when pharaoh pursued them before the red sea.

Remember David before Goliath.

Our living Redeemer liveth. He will do same for us in every challenges of our lives.

1 Corinthians  15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians  2:14 Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.

Job  5:19 He shall deliver thee in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee.  5:20 In famine he shall redeem thee from death: and in war from the power of the sword.  5:21 Thou shalt be hid from the scourge of the tongue: neither shalt thou be afraid of destruction when it cometh.  5:22 At destruction and famine thou shalt laugh: neither shalt thou be afraid of the beasts of the earth.  5:23 For thou shalt be in league with the stones of the field: and the beasts of the field shall be at peace with thee.  5:24 And thou shalt know that thy tabernacle shall be in peace; and thou shalt visit thy habitation, and shalt not sin.

Psalms  34:15 The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.  34:17 The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.  34:18 The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

Psalms  37:18 The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever.  37:19 They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.  37:25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.  37:37 Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.  37:39 But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble.  37:40 And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.

2 Timothy  4:17 Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.  4:18 And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Is there any trouble today? We have a living Redeemer,

He helped Job and gave Him a better end. What he did for him, He will do for us too in Jesus name

Let us pray
