Acts  8:9 But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:  8:10 To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God.  8:11 And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries.  8:12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.  8:13 Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.

Prior to the coming of Phillip to Samaria,  satan used Simon to put the people in bondage of sorcery.

It was as if, it will continue for ever.

But God used the coming of Phillip to set the people of Samaria free from the bondage of sorcery.

In the same token, prior to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, satan was having a field day, putting humanity in bondage of sin, damning their precious souls.

Romans  3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

But then our Lord came and set humanity free from the bondage of sins and damnation.

Romans  5:6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.  5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans  6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

The devil is aware that is time is short and is deceiving people evil almost everywhere in the world, putting them in bondage of sins, damning their souls.

Revelation  12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.  12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

 And a time is coming not very far away from now, when the kingdom of this world will be taking over fully by our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation  11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

Beloved  time is short, Jesus is coming soon.

1 Corinthians  7:29 But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none;

Death also is taking multitude of people to unprepared damnable eternity.

Hebrews  9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

They never thought that , death can be so near 

Psalms  49:10 For he seeth that wise men die, likewise the fool and the brutish person perish, and leave their wealth to others.  49:11 Their inward thought is, that their houses shall continue for ever, and their dwelling places to all generations; they call their lands after their own names.  49:12 Nevertheless man being in honour abideth not: he is like the beasts that perish.

There was a particular instance of that in the Bible.

Luke  16:19 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:  16:20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,  16:21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.  16:22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;  16:23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.  16:24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.  16:25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.  16:26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

Beloved you have to be wise and make adequate preparation for your eternal wellbeing 

Deuteronomy  32:29 O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!

Proverbs  19:20 Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end.

Proverbs  15:24 The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath.

Are you prepared for the imminent rapture?

How prepared are you to meet with God, should you be call home anytime from now.

Amos  4:12 Therefore thus will I do unto thee, O Israel: and because I will do this unto thee, prepare to meet thy God, O Israel.

Give your life to Christ, be biblically saved and sanctified.

Matthew  1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

And anytime our Lord comes, you will live eternally with Him.

May God help you to be wise unto salvation in Jesus name.
