Earthly and eternal blessings for wholeheartedly serving the Lord.
Exodus 23:25 And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. 23:26 There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.
There are numerous earthly and eternal blessings you stand to earn, when you wholeheartedly serve the Lord.
Listen to that word again.

Job 36:11 If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.
All of these are earthly blessings.
But then numerous desirable and enviable eternal blessings also awaits you when you serve the Lord.
John 12:26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.
Daniel 12:3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
1 Peter 5:1 The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed: 5:2 Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; 5:3 Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being ensamples to the flock. 5:4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.
These certainly are enviable eternal blessings for wholeheartedly serving our Master and Lord Jesus Christ.
No wonder you are admonished to be committed to serving our Lord Jesus Christ wholeheartedly.
Romans 12:11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
Colossians 3:23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; 3:24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
Now that you have discovered the earthly and eternal blessings that you will receive here and hereafter, how then, do you serve God acceptably?
The most important service that opens door for earthly and eternal blessings is to be rendering reasonable service to the Lord.
Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Why is this very important?
Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
The reason why multitude will labour for the Lord and denied blessings here and hereafter is because while they were working for the Lord, they were not Wal with Him.
Listen to the Lord’s attitude towards them.
Luke 6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
While it is good for you to engage in rendering all sorts of services to the Lord, make sure you are walking with Him in biblical holiness lifestyle or rendering reasonable service to Him.
It is good to be engage in any other services but endeavor most importantly to render reasonable service or walking with God in biblical holiness lifestyle.
The good Lord will reward your labour of love here and hereafter in Jesus name.
Hebrews 6:10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
