Great joy through Christ’s word.
Acts 8:5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. 8:6 And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. 8:7 For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed. 8:8 And there was great joy in that city.
Philip went to Samaria and preached Christ and brought great joy to the people in the city.
Souls were saved, healed and delivered from satanic oppressions.
Same happened when Peter preached Christ at Cornelius house.
The Holy Ghost visited the gentiles as it happened on the day of Pentecost.
Acts 10:34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: 10:35 But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him. 10:36 The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:) 10:37 That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached; 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. 10:39 And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree: 10:40 Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly; 10:41 Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead. 10:42 And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead. 10:43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins. 10:44 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. 10:45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. 10:46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,
Same happened when Paul preached at Pisidia and Iconium Multitude were saved and great miracles wrought.
Acts 13:48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.
Acts 13:52 And the disciples were filled with joy, and with the Holy Ghost.
Acts 14:1 And it came to pass in Iconium, that they went both together into the synagogue of the Jews, and so spake, that a great multitude both of the Jews and also of the Greeks believed. 14:3 Long time therefore abode they speaking boldly in the Lord, which gave testimony unto the word of his grace, and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands.
This was a fulfilment of scriptures.
Whenever Jesus is lifted earthly and eternal inheritances are the Lots of the hearers of His infallible eternal unfailing words
Luke 2:10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. 2:11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
John 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.
Same thing happened in the earthly ministry of Jesus.
Luke 5:15 But so much the more went there a fame abroad of him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities.
Luke 6:17 And he came down with them, and stood in the plain, and the company of his disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases;
This morning I bring you the word of the unchanging Jesus. The essence of His coming to this earth. Once you receive it, every other things follow, beyond your widest dreams.
Matthew 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
Jesus came primarily to save us from all sins without, biblical salvation and sins within biblical sanctification .
These both will guarantee your earthly and eternal wellbeing.
Have you been biblically saved?
Have you been biblically sanctified?
Remember you must not desire Jesus for only the benefits of this world.
1 Corinthians 15:19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
Matthew 16:26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
Beloved is your name in the book of life?
If the imminent rapture takes place now, will you be part of it?
Pray and ask the Lord to use His vicarious sacrifice to do in you what will make your name to be written and retained in the book of life.
