Doctrine. Godhead

Christ’s earnest passion for all Bible believing believers of all ages.

John  17:24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

The Bible reveals very very clearly that Christ in deed loves all His followers of all ages.

He loves them from the outset to the end.

John  13:1 Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.

No wonder He gave them all a reassuring promise to be with them to the end.

Matthew  28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Not surprising, He liveth to make intercession for them.

Hebrews  7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

All of these He has been doing and will continue to do until the end of time, because of His earnest passion for them to be with Him for all eternity.

John  17:24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

This great passion are reflected severally in the scriptures.

John  12:26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

John  14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Matthew  26:29 But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.

Luke  12:37 Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.

Luke  22:28 Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations.  22:29 And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me;  22:30 That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Luke  23:43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

Revelation  3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

Revelation  7:14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.  7:15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.  7:16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.  7:17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

Because of this passion, His followers of all ages also are lounging to be with Him for all eternity.

2 Corinthians  5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

Philippians  1:23 For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:

1 Thessalonians  4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Beloved, God the Father has already answered this request of Christ, endeavor to take advantage of it, and live with Him for all eternity.

Let us Pray.
