Jesus’s lifelong prayers for His followers

John  17:9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.  17:15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.

Beloved from time immemorial, God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ, have always been praying for the saints and Bible believing believers to be delivered from all evil.

Jacob

Genesis  48:16 The Angel which redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; and let my name be named on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.

Jabez

1 Chronicles  4:10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

David

Psalms  121:7 The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.

Believers in Bible days until the end of time.

Matthew  6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Luke  11:4 And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.

Galatians  1:4 Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:

2 Thessalonians  3:3 But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.

2 Timothy  4:18 And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Our Lord’s prayers will continually avail for the saints until the end of time.

But then endeavor to keep yourself, so that sin will not open the door for the devil to do you hurt.

1 John 5:18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

The good Lord shall you keep you and protect you from all evil.

Let us pray.
