Jesus’s sinless lifestyle.

Jesus’s sinless lifestyle.

John  14:29 And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.  14:30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

Our Lord while speaking with His disciples, affirmed that, satan woefully failed in all his temptations, to cause Him to sin.

Hebrews  4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

Matthew  4:1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.  4:2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.  4:3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.  4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.  4:5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,  4:6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.  4:7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.  4:8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;  4:9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.  4:10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.  4:11 Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.

Hebrews  7:26 For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

Judas before hanging himself, confessed our Lord was innocent.

Matthew  27:3 Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,  27:4 Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that.

The Sanhedrin had nothing against Him and could not accuse Him of sin.

John  8:45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.  8:46 Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?

Pilate and King Herod found no fault in Him.

Luke  23:13 And Pilate, when he had called together the chief priests and the rulers and the people,  23:14 Said unto them, Ye have brought this man unto me, as one that perverteth the people: and, behold, I, having examined him before you, have found no fault in this man touching those things whereof ye accuse him:  23:15 No, nor yet Herod: for I sent you to him; and, lo, nothing worthy of death is done unto him.

John  19:4 Pilate therefore went forth again, and saith unto them, Behold, I bring him forth to you, that ye may know that I find no fault in him.

The scriptures both in the old and new testaments affirmed that, He was sinless.

Isaiah  53:7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.  53:8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.  53:9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

2 Corinthians  5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

1 Peter  1:19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

1 Peter  2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:  2:22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:

1 Peter  3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

1 John  3:5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.  3:6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.  3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.  3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Our Lord then taught all Bible believing believers of all ages on the compulsion to be sinless.

John  5:14 Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.

John  8:10 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?  8:11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

1 John  2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

The reason for this is because, He is well able to keep even you from sin.

Hebrews  2:18 For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

Jude  1:24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,  1:25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

His grace is sufficient for you at all times in all things to keep you from sinning.

2 Corinthians  9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

Let us pray.
