The reason why multitudes go to hell. ( Click here for more details. )

John  5:40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.

Beloved Brethren, listen to the collosal earthly and eternal losses of the Jews in the earthly ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ and all  human beings of all ages until the end of the time, who refused to come to Christ, biblically.

Listen to what happens to everyone that embraced Him during His earthly ministry and until the end of time.

John  3:14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:  3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.  3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.  3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.  3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.  3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

This informed why the Jews refused to come to Him, they loved darkness. This also is the reason why multitude inside and outside of the rejected His Lordship, because they hated the light.

John  6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.  6:48 I am that bread of life.  6:50 This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.  6:51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.  6:53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.  6:54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.  6:58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.

John  10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:  10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

Everyone from the time of the earthly ministry of Christ till the end of time, that received Him , has eternal life and shall live eternally with Him.

Beside this, imagine all that God the Father had done for you in particular to have eternal life here on earth and life eternal,  eternity with God.

Ezekiel  33:11 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

2 Peter  3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

1 Timothy  2:3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;  2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

Pause here and examine yourself, are you embracing  the kind gestures of God the Father and Christ and receptive to His words or you loved darkness and sin and you are rejecting Him and His words in the Bible?

Your response should be affirmative yes, but If is no, do something drastic, to avoid eternal damnation.  Jesus calls you again.

This was the call the Jews rejected and ultimately lost life here and hereafter.

Isaiah  1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

Matthew  11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

John  6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

Listen to what they did to reject life and perhaps what you also is doing to reject life eternal.

Jeremiah  6:16 Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.

Jeremiah  44:16 As for the word that thou hast spoken unto us in the name of the LORD, we will not hearken unto thee.  44:17 But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil.

Ezekiel  33:30 Also, thou son of man, the children of thy people still are talking against thee by the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, every one to his brother, saying, Come, I pray you, and hear what is the word that cometh forth from the LORD.  33:31 And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness.  33:32 And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy words, but they do them not.

Luke  19:14 But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us.

Luke  23:39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.  23:40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?  23:41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.  23:42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.  23:43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

While the other one received life from Christ and was pardoned and granted eternity with Christ, the other one was obstinate and was damned.

I am persuaded that you are not obstinate too, like more than ninety percent of empty professors and churchgoers are obstinate, rejecting the unchanging, unfailing, eternal infallible words of Jesus, which shall not pass away?

Matthew  24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

The Jews in the days of Paul apostle in Rome did the same thing, they rejected life by rejecting God’s words in the Bible.

Acts  28:22 But we desire to hear of thee what thou thinkest: for as concerning this sect, we know that every where it is spoken against.  28:23 And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and out of the prophets, from morning till evening.  28:24 And some believed the things which were spoken, and some believed not.  28:25 And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed, after that Paul had spoken one word, Well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the prophet unto our fathers,  28:26 Saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive:  28:27 For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.  28:28 Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it.  28:29 And when he had said these words, the Jews departed, and had great reasoning among themselves.

Governor Felix rejected life.

Acts  24:24 And after certain days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, which was a Jewess, he sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ.  24:25 And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.  24:26 He hoped also that money should have been given him of Paul, that he might loose him: wherefore he sent for him the oftener, and communed with him.

King Agrippa rejected life.

Acts  26:12 Whereupon as I went to Damascus with authority and commission from the chief priests,  26:13 At midday, O king, I saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and them which journeyed with me.  26:14 And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.  26:15 And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest.  26:16 But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee;  26:17 Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee,  26:18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.  26:19 Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:  26:20 But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.  26:21 For these causes the Jews caught me in the temple, and went about to kill me.  26:22 Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come:  26:23 That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles.  26:24 And as he thus spake for himself, Festus said with a loud voice, Paul, thou art beside thyself; much learning doth make thee mad.  26:25 But he said, I am not mad, most noble Festus; but speak forth the words of truth and soberness.  26:26 For the king knoweth of these things, before whom also I speak freely: for I am persuaded that none of these things are hidden from him; for this thing was not done in a corner.  26:27 King Agrippa, believest thou the prophets? I know that thou believest.  26:28 Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.  26:29 And Paul said, I would to God, that not only thou, but also all that hear me this day, were both almost, and altogether such as I am, except these bonds.

Humanity inside and outside of the church, since the time of Christ earthly ministry.

Matthew  7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:  7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

It is very painful but it is true, what is making people in Bible days till now and perhaps you in particular, to reject life, Jesus came to give.. Listen.

1. They are biblically blind.

2 Corinthians  4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:  4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

2. Satan has taken them captive and determine not to let them go.

2 Timothy  2:24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,  2:25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;  2:26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

Isaiah  14:17 That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?

3.  They misunderstand the grace of God.

Romans  6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?  6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

God’s grace shall enable you to be dead and free from all sins.

Titus  2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,  2:12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;  2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;  2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

4.  They misused the liberty of choice or  their free moral agent.

Deuteronomy  30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

Beloved should you discover that you fall into these categories, then do the needful now, because tomorrow is not guaranteed.

2 Chronicles  7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Isaiah  55:6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:  55:7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

2 Corinthians  6:2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

What if you continue in your and justify them like Adam and you keep on in your resistance of Christ, then you forfeit life eternal or eternity with Christ.

Job  31:33 If I covered my transgressions as Adam, by hiding mine iniquity in my bosom:

Ezekiel  18:30 Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.

Luke  13:3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.  13:5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

Matthew  25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Revelation  2:19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first.  2:20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.  2:21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.  2:22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.  2:23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.

You can avoid and you shall avoid eternal damnation, but receive life, Jesus Christ alone can give to you, by  wholeheartedly obeying Him in all thing’s and at all times, till He comes in the imminent rapture.

John  5:40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.

Hebrews  5:9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;
