God’s earthly and eternal rewards for biblical liberality.

Galatians  6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.  6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.  6:10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

Beloved, liberality has a far reaching rewards and consequences on all humanity here and hereafter.

Proverbs  11:24 There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty.  11:25 The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.

Proverbs  19:17 He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.

God frowns on those who are privileged and refuse to support the less privileged.

Always remember this, God can not be mocked. Whatever you sow to the needy, God brought your way and you have capability to help them but declined.

God said, He will do same to you when you are desperate in needs of His intervention.

Psalms  18:25 With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful; with an upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright;  18:26 With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself froward.

He went further to say that your liberality lifestyle will be rewarded here and hereafter.

determine where you are going to spend eternity.

Psalms  41:1 Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.  41:2 The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.  41:3 The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.

Psalms  112:9 He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.

Luke  6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

2 Corinthians  9:9 (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever.

In addition there awaits eternal recompense and rewards, for your lifestyle of liberality.

Matthew  25:31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:  25:32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:  25:33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.  25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:  25:35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:  25:36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.  25:37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?  25:38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?  25:39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?  25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.  25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:  25:42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:  25:43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.  25:44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?  25:45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.  25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

May the good Lord help you to be wise in Jesus name.

Let us pray.
