Dare to be another Enoch. Yes you can.

Dare to be another Enoch, yes you can.

Genesis  5:21 And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:  5:22 And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:  5:23 And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:  5:24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

Hebrews  11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

Jude  1:14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,  1:15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

Beloved, I have placed before you all that Enoch did to experience the rapture.

In the Bible three persons have experienced the rapture.

1. Enoch.

Genesis  5:24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

Elijah

2 Kings  2:1 And it came to pass, when the LORD would take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal.  2:11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.

Christ Jesus our Master and Lord.

Mark  16:14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.  16:19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

Christ our Master and Lord was received up into heaven.  The same thing, He Himself said, He will do for us during the imminent rapture.

John  14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.  14:2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.  14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

So what did Enoch do to qualify him to experience the rapture, that you and I are preparing for?

He did two things.

1. He pleased God.

Hebrews  11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

2. He preached the gospel to corrupt and wilful people.

So if these were all he did, even you can become another Enoch of this generation.

This is because of the following things.

1. You can do all things through Christ.

Philippians  4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

2. God’s unfailing grace will be sufficient for you.

2 Corinthians  9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

3. You have a better covenant. Enoch was redeemed with the blood of animal,  you with the precious blood of Jesus.

Hebrews  8:6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.

So there is no reason for you to be left behind during the imminent rapture.

Like our Master and Lord Jesus Christ  and others in Bible days, please the Lord.

1.Christ Jesus our Master and Lord.

John  8:29 And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.

2. Paul.

Galatians  1:1 Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)  1:10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

Very very unfortunately, the greatest undoing of majority of churchgoers is that, they don’t please God

Isaiah  2:6 Therefore thou hast forsaken thy people the house of Jacob, because they be replenished from the east, and are soothsayers like the Philistines, and they please themselves in the children of strangers.

Romans  8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  8:8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

1 Thessalonians  2:14 For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jews:  2:15 Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men:

Don’t be men pleasers, please God.

Ephesians  6:6 Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;

Exhortation to please God

1 Thessalonians  4:1 Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more.

2 Timothy  2:3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.  2:4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

Hebrews  11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Hebrews  13:16 But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

Remember even you can become another Enoch of this generation.

You need to be doing two things.

1. Please God like our Master and Lord Jesus Christ did.

John  8:29 And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.

2. Do and preach the gospel.

Acts  1:1 The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,

His grace will be sufficient for you in Jesus name.

Let us pray.
