Are you truly honest?

Are you truly honest?

Romans  12:17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.

Pause and sincerely examine yourself. Are you a honest person?

Can you speak like Joseph about yourself?

Genesis  39:9 There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?

Can you be like Daniel and purpose never to defile yourself with dishonesty?

Daniel  1:8 But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.

Can you speak boldly like Peter and tell Simon to perish with his money?

Acts  8:18 And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,  8:19 Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost.  8:20 But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.  8:21 Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God.

Can you choose to stay in prison like Paul for two years, because you refuse to give bribe?

Acts  24:24 And after certain days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, which was a Jewess, he sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ.  24:25 And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.  24:26 He hoped also that money should have been given him of Paul, that he might loose him: wherefore he sent for him the oftener, and communed with him.  24:27 But after two years Porcius Festus came into Felix’ room: and Felix, willing to shew the Jews a pleasure, left Paul bound.

Check up.  The bucks stops with you. Are you honest?

Your response should be affirmative yes. But if it is no, then, know that you are already disqualified for heaven.

Revelation  21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

If in deed you are a Christian. You must be honest as a new creature.

2 Corinthians  5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Remember, anyone guilty of dishonesty, belong to satan.

1 John  3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Listen to the expectations of God.

2 Corinthians  8:21 Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.

Philippians  4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

1 Thessalonians  2:10 Ye are witnesses, and God also, how holily and justly and unblameably we behaved ourselves among you that believe:

1 Thessalonians  4:12 That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing.

1 Thessalonians  5:22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.

God wants you to be another Job, that He can confidently flant before satan, as one of His faithful children.

Job  1:8 And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?

Job  2:3 And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.

May the good Lord depend on you in Jesus name.

Let us pray.
