Sin no more .

by Bishop Peter Babalolain Devotional

John  8:11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

God’s unchanging commandment for heaven bound citizens, is sin no more.

This is because sin is damnable and will find you out and separate you from God as it happened to Adam and Eve.

Numbers  32:23 But if ye will not do so, behold, ye have sinned against the LORD: and be sure your sin will find you out.

Anyone committing sin has no business with God, because such a person belong to satan.

1 John  3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.  3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.  3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

Grace is not a licence for sin as so many churchgoers taught.

Romans  6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?  6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

To help you to be free from sin, you must always hide God’s words in your heart.

Psalms  119:11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

God’s unchanging words will be  lamp that will guide your steps from sliding.

Psalms  119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

If sincerely you have met Christ, you will determinedly depart from all sins

2 Timothy  2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

This because Jesus hated sin and will tell sinners, He does not know them.

Hebrews  1:9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

Matthew  7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.  7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?  7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Reach out to Him and let Him set you free from all sins.

Matthew  1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

This is because sin will certainly deprive you of eternity with God.

Revelation  21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.  21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

Remember, His unchanging commandment for all heaven bound citizens is sin no more.

John  8:11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

Let us pray.
