Seeing and knowing Christ before death.

Seeing and knowing Jesus before death.

Luke  2:25 And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him.  2:26 And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord’s Christ.

You must have seen, known take advantage of the redemptive work of Christ, before death.

Remember this:

Hebrews  9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

Those who don’t know Him from both inside and outside the church will be damned.

Matthew  7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.  7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?  7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

In addition those who knew Him but latter go back to their vomit shall be damned also.

Hebrews  10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,  10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.  10:28 He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:  10:29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

What must you know about Jesus?

He saved sinners from all sins, outward sins: biblical salvation, inward sins : biblical sanctification.

In addition, you must know Him  as someone who does not want you to continue in your sins,

John  8:10 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?  8:11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

This is because anyone inside or outside the church committing sin, belong to satan.

1 John  3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Those who have known Christ don’t sin.

1 John  3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

I want to persuade you against the terror of God, to see Jesus without knowing Him after death.

2 Corinthians  5:11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

Please be wise.

Deuteronomy  32:29 O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!

Revelation  14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:  14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night,

Endeavor to be totally reconcile with Christ and be free from sin for easy passage to heaven .

Philippians  3:20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

Let us pray.
