Enrich and Sustain your relationship with Jesus reading our daily devotional – Little children (believers, dear ones), you are of God and you belong to Him and have [already] overcome them [the agents of the antichrist]; because He who is in you is greater than he (Satan) who is in the world [of sinful mankind]. – 1 John 4:4

Beloved, it is very important that you distinguished your self as one of the bonafide biblical believers from majority empty professors of Christian faith and nominal churchgoers globally.

What then makes you a bonafide biblical believer is your wholehearted attitude to the reality of the eternal, infallible, unfailing and unchanging words of the living God in the Bible.

Psalms 119:89 For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.

Mat 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Beloved, there is a truth that can not be contested or denied. It is the very fact that you belong to God. See it yourself.

1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

There are two undeniable facts that established the fact that you belong to God.

1. He created you in His image.

Gen 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

2. He redeemed your own life in particular from eternal destruction.

Psa 103:2 — 4 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; he redeemeth thy life from destruction; He crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

Beloved if these facts are established and can not be denied, why is it now difficult for God to enjoy fully , His ownership over multitude of humanity globally?

I am fully persuaded that you are excluded. See their shameful attitude to our loving Father in heaven.

Psa 10:4 The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.

Job 21:15 What is the Almighty, that we should serve him?and what profit should we have, if we pray unto him?

Malachi 3:14 Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the Lord of hosts?

Beloved, you must distance yourself from these multitude who have no regard for the ownership of God over their lives. See what our Father said about their attitude.

Isa 1:2 — 5 Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the Lord hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me. The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master’s crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider. Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the Lord, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger,they are gone away backward. Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.

Mal 1:6 — 8 A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the Lord of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name? Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of the Lord is contemptible. And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? offer it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept thy person? saith the Lord of hosts.

Beloved, see how the scriptures affirmed the ownership of God over your life. You must render due benevolence to God, till you see Him in eternity, in appreciation of these facts.

1. Creation

Psalms 33:6 By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; andall the host of them by the breath of his mouth.

Psalms 102:25 Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth:and the heavens are the work of thy hands.

Isaiah 43:7 Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.

Isaiah 43:21 This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.

Isaiah 45:12 I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.

Isaiah 45:18 For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord; and there is none else.

2. Redemption

Psalms 74:2 Remember thy congregation, which thou hast purchased of old; the rod of thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed; this mount Zion, wherein thou hast dwelt.

Isa 43:1 — 4 But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee. Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life.

1Co 6:19 — 20 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

1 John 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

1Jo 3:9 — 10 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

1 John 5:19 And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.

Beloved, I am persuaded of your personal conviction of ownership of God over you. Then validate your realisation by your unalloyed loyalty and obedience to Him until you see Him in eternity, doing the following.

1. Wholehearted obedience.

Exo 19:5 — 6 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

Jeremiah 7:23 But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.

2. Living a lifestyle of biblical holiness daily.

Leviticus 20:26 And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the Lord am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine.

Luk 1:74 — 75 That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear, In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.

Dearly Beloved, bonafide biblical believers of all ages and you in particular, have no doubt about the ownership of Christ over them.

I am very sure you don’t have any iota of doubt that He owns you.

See it yourself.

See you belong to Jesus by creation.

Jn 1:1 — 3 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Ephesians 3:9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

Col 1:16 — 17 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

2. By redemption.

Acts 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

Ephesians 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Ephesians 1:14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

Col 1:13 — 14 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

1Co 7:22 — 23 For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord’s freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ’s servant. Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men.

1Pe 1:18 — 19 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

Dearly beloved, what will you do with the realisation of these undeniable truth? Then be determined that if it just only one person that shall render reasonable service to Christ in the whole wide world. It is going to be you. May the Lord help you to do so in Jesus name.

Rom 12:1 — 2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Friend, their is something very special in the lives of those that shall be part of the dawning rapture.

They are driven to prepare daily and tirelessly for this imminent event because of their conviction of ownership of Christ over them. See it yourself.

Friend these believers are persuaded that they were created by Him.

Heb 1:2 — 3 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

Revelation 4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

2. They knew He gave Himself for them to be qualified to live in eternity.

Eph 5:25 — 27 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

Rev 5:9 — 10 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

Friend, because of these realized truth, they are resolved to go through thick and thin following Him. Receive grace to be one of them.

Rev 14:4 — 5 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.
