Beloved because you are forever indebted to your loving Father in heaven, you must be thankful to Him at all times, because of the inexhaustible blessings of Calvary.
Romans 8:32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
Col 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
In addition if you desire to win His admiration, be praiseful and thankful to God, like King David.

Keep praising Him, because of His numerous unmerited benefits ceaselessly placed at your disposal.
Psa 103:1 — Psa 103:2 Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
However, dearly beloved, always remember, that praises and thanksgiving are sacrifice to God.
Hebrews 13:15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
Very very unfortunately, He does not accept the sacrifice of the wicked or the sinner inside or outside of the church.
Pro 15:8 The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord:but the prayer of the upright is his delight.

The reason for this is because God is holy and He inhabiteth or receive holy worship or praises.
Psalms 22:3 But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.
Exodus 15:11 Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? Who is like thee, glorious in holiness,
fearful in praises, doing wonders?
Psalms 145:17 The LORD is righteous in all his ways,
and holy in all his works.
1Pe 1:14 — 1Pe 1:16 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

Dearly beloved, because of the unchanging eternal nature of God, which is holiness, He accepts worship done by holy saints and done in holiness.
1Ch 16:29 Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name:bring an offering, and come before him: worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.
Psalms 29:2 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name;
worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
Psalms 96:9 O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.
2 Chronicles 20:21 And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever.

Because your own praise and worship shall be acceptable at all times, ensure you have done these two things.
1. You have heeded is most important call .
1 Thessalonians 4:7 For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.
2. You are walking daily with Him in biblical holiness.
Luke 1:75 In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.
Doing this conscientiously beloved brethen shall help you meet His requisite to live with Him eternally.
Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
The good Lord shall help you in particular in Jesus name
