WISDOM OF GOD REVEALED {4} | KnowingJESUS Daily Devotional

1 Corinthians 1:21-24 ,For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

1 Corinthians 1:30. But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

Beloved, there is  no controversy at all. God your loving Father is a holy God. If you desire to walk with Him, you must be exactly the way He is.

1 Peter 1:14-16. As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

God had always desired that everyone and anyone that has anything to do with Him, must be holy like Him..

Leviticus 19:1-2. And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the Lord your God am holy.

The scriptures reveal this holiness lifestyle of God in different ways.. See some of them.
1. Sanctification.

Leviticus 20:7-8. Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the Lord your God. And ye shall keep my statutes, and do them: I am the Lord which sanctify you.

2. Circumcision of heart.

Deuteronomy 30:6. And the Lord thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou  mayest live.

3. Removal of adarmic nature or the heart of stone.

Ezekiel 36:26. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

4. Walking with God.

Genesis 5:21-24. And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah: And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years: And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

Genesis 6:9. These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

5. Perfection.

Genesis 17:1. And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.

Matthew 5:48. Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

6. Purity of heart and life.

Psalms 24:3-4. Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

Matthew 5:8. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

Acts 15:9: And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.

7. Holiness of life.

Luke 1:74-75. That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear, In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.

1 Chronicles 16:29. Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

Beloved, only those that attain this holiness lifestyle shall be able to dwell with Him eternally. Since this the goal of your life, do everything to attain this life of holiness. The good Lord shall help you in Jesus.

Isaiah 57:15 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

Psalms 15:1-5 Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart. He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour. In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the Lord. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not. He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.

Dearly beloved,  no doubt Jesus came to this world primarily to save humanity from sin, that separates them from God.

Matthew 1:21. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.

But in addition, He came to reveal to the saints, how they could meet with the requisite of living with Him in eternity.  Believers of all ages which includes you  are expected to be sanctified, to enable them participate in the dawning rapture or have access to living with God eternally. Jesus then came to sanctify us and be the singular biblical way to our sanctification. No marvel, He became  sanctification and sanctifier of  believers of all ages, especially you. See how the scriptures affirmed this.

John 17:17-19. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

Acts 26:18: To open their eyes, and to turn themfrom darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

1 Corinthians 1:2: Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:.

Ephesians 5:25-27. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

1 Thessalonians 5:23-24. And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.

Hebrews 10:10. By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Hebrews 13:12. Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.

The blessed Holy Spirit used the book of Corinth to affirm that Jesus Christ in deed is believers sanctification. See it.

Prior to the conversion of believers, they lived depraved  lifestyle of unrighteousness. See it.

1 Corinthians 6:9-10. Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

But then after conversion, our Lord through His  personal example of living biblical lifestyle of the sanctified person, sacrifice and blood sanctifies them.

1 Corinthians 6:11: And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.,

1 Peter 1:2: Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

Dearly beloved, have you being sanctified?  You must not presume this. You must establish it biblically in your life. This is because only the sanctified shall be part of the rapture, that can take place anytime from now. So please examine yourself.

2 Corinthians 13:5. Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

If  you are fine. If not come to Jesus now and take advantage of His  exemplary lifestyle, His truth and  His precious blood ! shed to sanctify believers of all ages and you.

John 17:17  Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

John 17:19. And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

Hebrews 13:12-13. Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate. Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.

Dearly beloved, please come immediately to be sanctified. This is because tomorrow might be too late. The good Lord shall help you to be wise unto salvation in Jesus name.
Friend, very regularly our Lord has been sending messages to His followers, like you, of His imminent coming. Yesterday a sister came to me, to inform me, of the revelation, she just had, where our loving Redeemer was prompting her to tell others of His soon coming. Please never ever be tired in your preparedness for His coming.
The good Lord shall help you and prepares you in Jesus name. Remember, His coming shall be sudden and take many both inside and outside the church unaware.

Luke 21:34-36. And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

1 Corinthians 15:51-52. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

But then it is important for you to know that Jesus is not coming for everyone, but only the glorious church that are sanctified.

1 Corinthians 1:2: Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:

Friend are you really one of these believers ? If you are prove it. Be sure you are. There are two things that characterised the lives  of these sanctified brethren.
1.they lived with eternity in view at all times. Do you?

Colossians 3:1-4. If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

2. They regularly cleanse and purge themselves from anything that can disqualify  them. Do you?

 2 Corinthians 7:1. Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

2 Timothy 2:20-21. But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.

1 John 3:1-3. Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

Friend, just pause here now. Supposing the trumpet sound now, are you prepared? Is your name still in the book of life? Are you holy ? Are you free from worldliness? Have you done your restitution?  Remember without holiness, no person shall see the Lord.

Hebrews 12:14. Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

Please for God’s sake, get ready.
The good Lord shall help you in Jesus name.
