Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | October 12, 2019 – We are Called to be FAITHFUL to Him who Appointed us [part 2].
Hebrews 3:2 – Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus; Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house.
Beloved, our loving Father in heaven is aware of our inadequacies and the tireless resolve of the devil. to do us painful lifetime and eternal mischief. Because of this, He is tirelessly calling us to order , to help us avert the wicked schemes of the devil. In deed see what the devil is up to in the lives of every human beings.
John 10:10. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
1 Peter 5:8. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
On the other hand, see what our loving Father is up to.
Jeremiah 33:3. Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not
Psalms 32:8. I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
Isa 48:17 Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go. O that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments! then had thy peace been as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea:
But then before He would be able to do this without any difficulty and to our advantage and benefits. We must first heed His call to redemption, for Him to be able to relate with us properly.
This becomes necessary, because of the fall in the garden of Eden. We need to be reconciled with Him and recover the saintly estate lost at Eden. So He call every human being and you in particular to repentance. See it.
Isaiah 1:18. Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
2 Chronicles 7:14. If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Pause a little. I am persuaded of you that you have heeded this first call. However, if you have not do it quickly. Tomorrow might be too late.
After we have heeded this first call, He calls to us to a higher order where we will be able to walk with Him in holiness. He is a holy God and only holy people can walk with Him.
Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
This was His image that Adam lost when he ate the forbidden fruit .
Ephesians 4:24. And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness
Lev 19:2. Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the Lord your God am holy.
1Pe 1:15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
This call is mandatory for everyone who will have anything to do with God. See it.

Abraham heeded this call before his earthly and eternal well being were guaranteed.
Genesis 17:1. And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect
This same call is what you should heed for your earthly and eternal well being also to be guaranteed. Receive grace to heed this call and be blessed here and hereafter in Jesus name.
Matthew 5:48. Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
Heeding this call enables you to walk in the pathway of holiness that leads to life eternal.
Isa 35:8 And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein. No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon,it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there:
This call to holiness is mandatory, because without it, eternity with God shall be a delusion. That shall not be your own portion in Jesus name.
Hebrews 12:14. Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord
Dearly beloved, when our Lord came for. His earthly ministry, He made several and divers calls to His followers of all ages.. See some of then and Check up whether you have heeded them.
1. Call to leave all. and wholeheartedly follow Him
Matthew 4:19. And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.
Mar 10:28 Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee. And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s, But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.
2. Call to take His yoke and learn to be conformed to His image.
Mat 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Rom 8:29. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
3. Call to carry our cross daily and follow Him without looking back.
Luk 9:23. And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
Luke 9:62 And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
Luk 14:26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple. For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish. Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand? Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace. So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.
Dearly beloved, have you joyfully heeded these calls of our Lord? You have to and the grace to do so the Lord will give you in particular in Jesus name. These calls are meant for holy brethren of Jesus those who have heeded the heavenly calling. See ,it.

See how the blessed Holy Spirit amplifies these calls to enable believers of all ages and you in particular to understand and heed them.
1. Call to saintliness.
Romans 1:7. To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
2. High calling of God.
Phil 3:14. I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
3. Call to holiness.
1 Thessalonians 4:7. For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.
2 Tim 1:9. Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which ws shall given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
These are the calls for the brethren. of Jesus. Those that shall be with Him in eternity. Since you are one of them. Go. Ahead by His grace to heed them.
Friend, your earnest desire to be part of the dawning rapture shall be granted in Jesus name. But then it is mandatory that you should heed this call from heaven. See it.

Friend the only way to be fully ready for His coming is by heeding the heavenly calling. Only those who heed this call shall be with Him in eternity. See it yourself.
Revelation 17:14. These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
Jesus was sent by the Father as a faithful apostle. He pleased the Father that sent Him in all things.
John 8:29 And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.
In the same token. He called and chose you to be faithful. May the Lord help you in Jesus name.
