victory over sin and death But thanks be to God, who giveth [ gives ] us the victory { over sin and death } through our Lord Jesus Christ. – 1 Corinthians 15:57.

2 Corinthians 2:14. Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.

Beloved, it is disheartening and lamentable that globally there is dearth of the godly.

Psalms 12:1. Help, Lord; for the godly man ceaseth; for the faithful fail from among the children of men.

The reason for this is not far fetched. Many so called believers are yielding to shameful compromise because they felt, believers live  miserable lives of persecutions and afflictions.
True, Joseph, David, Three Hebrews, Daniel, Mordecai, Paul and our Lord Jesus Christ faced unprecedented persecutions and afflictions. But then as they persevered they  also had unashamed triumph. See what the scriptures says.

Psalms 34:19. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.

Beloved, God’s  true, biblical children,  the saints, living uncompromising lifestyle, even though they are few globally. They enjoyed enviable privileges which compromisers and carefree believers are denied. See some of them.
1. Hedge around believers

Job 1:9-10. Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought? Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.

2. Wall of fire around believers

Zechariah 2:5. For I, saith the Lord, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.

Zechariah 2:8. For thus saith the Lord of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.

3. Impregnable tower around the believers.

Proverbs 18:10. The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.

4. Mighty and strong Redeemer defending the believers

Proverbs 23:11. For their redeemer is mighty; he shall plead their cause with thee.

Jeremiah 50:34. Their Redeemer is strong; the Lord of hosts is his name: he shall throughly plead their cause, that he may give rest to the land,  and disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon.

5. God the man of war, the Lord of hosts fighting believers battle.

Exodus 15:3. The Lord is a man of war: the Lord is his name.

Exodus 14:13-14. And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

Jeremiah 31:11. For the Lord hath redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he.

6. Unfailing promised victory for believers.

Isaiah 8:9-13. Associate yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces. Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us. For the Lord spake thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying, Say ye not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid. Sanctify the Lord of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.

Isaiah 44:25-26. That frustrateth the tokens of the liars, and maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish; That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers; that saith to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be inhabited; and to the cities of Judah, Ye shall be built, and I will raise up the decayed places thereof:

Isaiah 49:24-26. Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered? But thus saith the Lord, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered:  for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children. And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the Lord am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.

7. Weapon of warfare made available to believers.

Isaiah 54:17. No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.

Beloved, are you a tried believer, keep on persevering. Your victory is undeniable through your Father in heaven, not the arm of flesh. You shall overcome just like the saints of old in Jesus name. It is well with you in Jesus name.

Psalms 98:1: O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.

Proverbs 21:31: The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD.

Dearly beloved,,  the greatest thing that can happen to you is for you to be a true biblical believer.  Even though we are now at the end of time, great things are happening to true followers of Jesus. I am persuaded you are one.
The reason for this is as clear as crystal. Our Lord Jesus Christ had overcome the devil permanently on the cross and this victory is for His faithful followers. See how the Bible describes it.

John 16:33. These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

John 19:30. When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

Jesus gave His followers one potent weapon that is as powerful as His presence with them. He gave then His name that has equal potency as His person.and His presence..

Luke 9:49-50. And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name; we forbad him, because he followeth not with us. Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us.

Luke 10:17-19. And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Mark 16:17. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

Hebrews 13:8. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

It is time you stop cowing before satan and his human agents. Use the potent mighty name of Jesus. They shall bow and be defeated.
It is this undeniable assured victory of believers, through the finished work of Jesus on the cross,  that the blessed Holy Spirit reinforced and re-emphasised in the book of Corinth, see them.

1 Corinthians 15:57. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 2:14. Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.

Several other scriptures affirmed same, see them.

Romans 8:37. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us..

Colossians 2:14-15. Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.1 John 4:4. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

1 John 5:4. For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

Revelation 12:11. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

So arise and take your position and see satan bruised under your feet. It shall be your experience in Jesus name.

Romans 16:20. And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen

Friend, one thing that shall see you to the sky when the trumpet sound and the saints are raptured is the victory Christ procured for you on the cross. It is true that satan shall assail you with fierce trials to sway you from preparedness.
But be rest assured as you take advantage of the undeniable victory of Christ, satan and his cohorts shall be shamelessly defeated at all times.
This shall be your experience in Jesus name.

The reason why this shall be so is the continual presence of Christ with you, through thick and thin.  See His promises.

Matthew 28:20. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Hebrews 13:5-6. Let your conversation be without covetousness; an be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

Paul the apostle, even though fiercely challenged, He also enjoy uncommon enviable triumph. You too shall experience same as you prepare daily for the dawning rapture.

2 Timothy 4:17-18   Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion. And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Friend  you will need to master the usage of weapons through which you can easily defeat the devil yourself.  See what the scriptures says.

2 Corinthians 10:3-5. For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

These weapons shall work on a condition. You must be living by the entirety of God’s words.

Matthew 4:4. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Revelation 3:10-11. Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

When this is so, see unfailing weapons that will defeat satan at all times.
1. The name of Jesus.

Philippians 2:9-10 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

Proverbs 18:10. The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.

Mark 16:17. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

2. Sword of the Spirit, the word of God.

Ephesians 6:17. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Hebrews 4:12. For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

3. The blood of Jesus

Exodus 12:12-13. For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the Lord. And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.

Revelation 12:11. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

4. The anointing of Jesus

Acts 10:38. How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

Isaiah 10:27. And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.

Remember, you are called to fight the good fight  of faith as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. You are called to contend and defend the gospel, so arise and do it, till Jesus takes you at the rapture. The good Lord shall help you in Jesus name.

1 Timothy 6:12. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

2 Timothy 2:3-4. Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

Philippians 1:17. But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel.

Jude 1:3. Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
