Matthew 7:24-27 – Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. 26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”

Beloved, always remember this. It is the only thing that will make you wise here and hereafter for all eternity. What exactly are you to remember? That the buck stops with you and you alone. You are accountable and responsible for your lots today and at eternity. So be determinedly wise.

Proverbs 9:12. If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself: but if thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear it.

How would you know whether you are in deed a wise person? When you operate and live a lifestyle of wisdom from above rooted solely on Christ’s redemptive works.

Job 28:28: And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil isunderstanding.

Psalms 111:10: The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

Psalms 119:99: I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation.

Psalms 119:130: The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.

Proverbs 10:8: The wise in heart will receive commandments: but a prating fool shall fall.

Beloved, ultimately this wisdom shall enable you to end up with life eternal and avert eternal damnation. This shall surely be your portion in Jesus name.

Proverbs 15:24. The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath.

Regrettably, as you consider the undoing of the people of old and of this present dispensation , you will discover they were leaving by earthly and sensual wisdom, obstinately rejecting wisdom from above. I am persuaded you are not like this. But then, check it up without being presumptuous. See what characterise such people:

1. They determinedly seek God without following His precepts and principles.

Isaiah 58:1-2. Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins. Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways, as a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their God: they ask of me the ordinances of justice; they take delight in approaching to God.

2. They forsook God and His ways impudently

Jeremiah 2:13. For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.

Jeremiah 2:19. Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the Lord thy God, and that my fear is not in thee, saith the Lord God of hosts.

Jeremiah 6:16. Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.

3. They Heard His words and refuse to do them with impunity.

Ezekiel 33:30-32. Also, thou son of man, the children of thy people still are talking against thee by the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, every one to his brother, saying, Come, I pray you, and hear what is the word that cometh forth from the Lord. And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness. And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy words, but they do them not.

4. They rejected biblical righteousness based on the acceptable redemptive works of Christ and established their filthy rags, that hasten their damnation . What a pity .

Romans 10:1-4. Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

No wonder the book of wisdom through the truth personified. Himself, encouraged wise saints of all ages and you in particular, to be wise and build your Christian house or faith on the Rock of Ages. May God help you in particular to do so in Jesus name.

Matthew 7:24-27. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

The reason for doing this is very simple but costly. There are two eternal ends. The Bucks stops with you in deciding yourself where your eternal end shall be. I am sure it shall be with Jesus. So begin to work it out henceforth till you meet Him in the sky. It shall be so in Jesus name. See the eternal ends described in different ways.

1. Isaiah 33:14-17. The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?

2. He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil; He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure. Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off.

3. Daniel 12:2. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

4. Malachi 3:16-18. Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another: and the Lord hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon his name. And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him. Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.

5. Luke 16:19-25. There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

May the good Lord help you to be wise into salvation in Jesus name.

Dearly beloved, there is just one builder of the whole universe and of all ages. His name is Jesus Christ, the same yesterday , today and forever.

Hebrews 13:8. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Hebrews 3:3-4. For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house. For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.

Hebrews 1:2-3. Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

He alone has been the one and will remain the one building the Christian house or faith of His people of all ages. Praise God, you are one.

Matthew 16:18: And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

1 Corinthians 3:10 -11. According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 3:17: That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

Colossians 2:7: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

1 Peter 1:5: Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

It is very important for you to know why Jesus should be the one building your Christian house or faith. This is because vehement storms as deluge shall try your faith. See what the scriptures says.

John 16:33. These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Acts 14:22: Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

James 1:12: Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

1 Peter 1:7: That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

Revelation 2:10. Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

But then only those who are built on Christ’s wisdom from above shall stand unmovable. They shall end their journey with joy and live with Him for all eternity. But those built by earthly, sensual and carnal wisdom shall be overcome and swept away.

They shall also experience eternal damnation . This shall never be your portion in Jesus name, but you must willingly submit to be built by Christ.

Matthew 7:24-27. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

Luke 6:47-49. Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.

Dearly beloved for this to happen, these are the things you must conscientiously do, till you meet with Jesus in the sky.

1. You ensure you have entered the narrow road and remain their until you meet Christ.

Matthew 7:13-14. Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find

2. You endeavour continually to be a wise Virgin who through grace made available through Christ have purchased everything that shall qualify you for life eternal. Some of these are : you have been genuinely saved , You have done your restitutions . You are daily walking in biblical righteousness and holiness etc. You are not like the foolish Virgins purchasing eternal requisite things after the dawning rapture, with their blood.

Matthew 25:1-13. Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

3. You remain a sheep hearing and obeying the voice of Christ the Shepherd alone

Matthew 25:31-33. When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

4. You Desire biblical righteousness that culminate in life eternal

Matthew 25:46. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

5. You are Seeking to partake in the resurrection of life or the dawning rapture.

John 5:28-29. Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

1 Thessalonians 4:15-17. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

His grace shall be sufficient for you to attain all these seamlessly.

2 Corinthians 9:8. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

JESUS ENCOURAGED BELIEVERS OF ALL AGES AND YOU, TO SEEK WISDOM FROM ABOVE, THAT REST SOLELY ON HIS REDEMPTIVE WORKS.

Friend, no doubt the end time is here and the rapture is dawning. Wise believers like you who have resolved to partake in it must receive and Live a lifestyle of wisdom from above that enables them to do all things till they meet with Christ from the perspective of eternity and not carnality. I am sure this is your resolution and daily walk with God. The good Lord shall help you till you see Jesus in Jesus name. See what the scriptures says.

Deuteronomy 32:29 O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!

Proverbs 19:20. Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end.

Colossians 3:1-4. If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

James 3:13-18. Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

Because these are the things you are conscientiously doing, you shall be able to stand the storms and diverse challenges that shall surely come your way before this great event. Unfortunately, those who profess to be willing to partake in the rapture but are living by sensual and earthly wisdom shall be overtaken by the challenges and be unprepared, when this event takes place. This shall not be your lot in Jesus name.

Matthew 7:24-27. The prophecy of the Bible for the partakers of the rapture, having part in the first resurrection and reigning with Christ for one thousand years shall surely be fulfilled in your life in Jesus name.

The second death shall have no power over your life as it shall be the lots of those that chose sensual wisdom and miss the rapture. Please be determined to continually live by the wisdom from above until our Lord comes. He shall surely help you in Jesus name.

Revelation 20:4-6. And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
