Beloved, glory to God you are a very wise person. Please sustain this unique rewardable wisdom at this very critical perilous time. No doubt their is economic impasse globally. This is one of the things that shall characterise the end time. See it according to the words of our Lord.
Luke 21:10-11. Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
Luke 21:25-26. And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
But then at this time, always remember that you are a pilgrim on transit on this present world and your real home is in heaven.
Hebrews 11:13. These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
At this passing time do not fall a victim to the wiles of the devil, who want to exchange your well deserved enviable incorruptible inheritances, reserved for you in heaven, with sensual, transient and corruptible treasures. This in deed is a ploy to war against your undying soul. Your own particular soul shall not be damned or loss in Jesus name.
1 Peter 2:11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
Beloved, so be disciplined and determined, never to gain anything, no matter how precious it may be at the expense of your soul. Do not trade your valuable birthright like Esau did.
Matthew 16:26. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
Genesis 25:29-34. And Jacob sod pottage: and Esau came from the field, and he was faint: And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage; for I am faint: therefore was his name called Edom. And Jacob said, Sell me this day thy birthright. And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me? And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob. Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentiles; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright.
Hebrews 12:15-17. Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright. For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.
Be content with whatever you can attain on this side of heaven now, without compromising and jeopardising your eternal wellbeing. Your eternal wellbeing shall not be jeopardise in Jesus name.
Hebrews 13:5: Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
1 Timothy 6:8. -10. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
Beloved, let this reality be dawn on you and always be mindful of it. Should you outlive Methuselah on this side of heaven, it is still infinitesimal compared to the time you shall be spending at eternity.
Genesis 5:27. And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.
Now use your wisdom to lay treasures in heaven where after you have spent trillions of years, you have not even began. This you can do by heeding this most timeous counsel from our Lord Jesus Christ.
Matthew 6:19-21. Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
See how you can accomplish this laudable expectations of God for yourself.
1. Make fear of the Lord your most important treasure.
Isaiah 33:6: And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure.
2. Seek to reach the prepared city God has for you in particular.
Hebrews 11:14-16. For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.
3. Never love things that shall pass away more than God.
1 John 2:15-17. Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
Regrettably, see what majority of churchgoers all over the world are doing. Please be sincere, and ensure, you are. not caught in this web.
Psalms 49:10-12. For he seeth that wise men die, likewise the fool and the brutish person perish, and leave their wealth to others. Their inward thought is, that their houses shall continue for ever, and their dwelling places to all generations; they call their lands after their own names. Nevertheless man being in honour abideth not: he is like the beasts that perish.
Job 31:24: If I have made gold my hope, or have said to the fine gold, Thou art my confidence;
Proverbs 23:5: Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven.
Very unfortunately, at the time they are exiting this earth, those things shall not matter again to them.
Zephaniah 1:18: Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD’Swrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.
See what the blessed Holy Spirit is saying to you in particular.
Amos 4:12. Therefore thus will I do unto thee, O Israel: and because I will do this unto thee, prepare to meet thy God, O Israel.
Haggai 1:5. Now therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts; Consider your ways.
Deuteronomy 32:29. O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!
No doubt you are wise, so live a lifestyle as if this present day you are living, Is your very last moment on this side of heaven . Pause . Should the trumpet sound now or you are called to depart this world today, just like it will happen to innumerable numbers of people globally today, do you have hope of living eternally with God? Do you have treasures laid in heaven or your case shall be like this man in the attached video. It shall not be so in Jesus name. But it needs more than prayer, begin now to live the lifestyle. The good Lord shall help you in Jesus name.
Dearly beloved, Jesus did two most wonderful things for believers in Bible days and believers of all ages. It is amazing that you are one of them. See what He did,
1. He has a befitting enviable abode for them,
John 14:1-3. Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
2. He prayed for them to live with Him eternally.
John 17:24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
But then for them not to miss any of these, He encouraged them, not to trade their eternal wellbeing with transient things, satan can use to entice them.
Luke 12:33: Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth.
1 Timothy 6:17-19. Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.
Unlike majority of empty professor of religion, they are not to labour only for treasures that shall perish and pass away with this world.
John 6:27. Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.
Dearly beloved, because you are going to be part of the beneficiaries of these enviable treasures Jesus have for believers of all ages, you must avoid bad history repeating in your life, as seen in the lives of the following people. They were unwise people in Bible days laboring for treasures that perished and they were not rich towards God. Do not be like any of these people. They had endless regret at eternity. This shall not be your portion in Jesus name.
1. The young rich ruler
Matthew 19:16-22. And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet? Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.
Luke 18:18-25. And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God. Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother. And he said, All these have I kept from my youth up. Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me. And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich. And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God! For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
2. The foolish rich man
Luke 12:15-21. And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth. And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.
3. Demas
2 Timothy 4:10. For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.
Be determined not to look back or depart from the narrow road that leads to the destination you are going. You shall get there in Jesus name.
Luke 9:62. And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
Hebrews 3:12: Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
But then, labour tirelessly. for things that shall earn you treasures in heaven.
Luke 12:34: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
2 Corinthians 4:18: While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal
See examples
Peter and the rest of the apostles.
Mark 10:28-30 Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee. And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s, But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.
Paul.
Philippians 3:7-11. But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
Moses.
Hebrews 11:24-27. By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter; Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward. By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.
JESUS ENCOURAGED BELIEVERS OF ALL AGES AND YOU IN PARTICULAR, NOT TO TRADE YOUR ETERNAL WELLBEING FOR TEMPORALS AND TRANSIENT THINGS.
Friend, your earnest desire to be part of the dawning rapture shall not elude you in Jesus name. Let these two eternal principles guide you till you meet with Jesus in the sky.
1. Do not engage in labouring for earthly things alone. .
John 6:27. Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.
2. Deliberately and determinedly lay rewardable treasures for yourself in eternity.
See how to go about making these eternal principles your lifestyle.
1. Living always with eternity in view.
1 Peter 1:4: To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
Matthew 6:33. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Colossians 3:1-4. If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
2. Enduring trials and challenges in other not to miss eternity with God.
James 1:12. Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him..
Revelation 2:9 – 10 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
3. Labouring tirelessly for Christ, so as to obtain eternal rewards.
2 Timothy 4:7-8. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
1 Peter 5:1-4. The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed: Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being examples to the flock. And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.
His grace shall be sufficient for you in Jesus name.
