Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | February 28, 2020. Enrich and Sustain your relationship with Jesus reading our daily devotional  –  Genesis 11:1-9  – And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter. And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech. So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the Lord did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the Lord scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.

Beloved, I want you to be mindful of one unique privilege that our loving Father in heaven have given to humanity, the crown of His creation, that, He will never ever take away.
For every human beings and that includes you. You are created a free moral agent. You are given liberty to choose to do good and be obedient to God or choose to disobey Him and face the consequences.
It all began with Adam and Eve and they chose disobedience and suffered the incalculable losses.

Gen 2:15 — Gen 2:17  And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Just like Adam, the same privilege is placed at your disposal. What will you do with it.  I am persuaded you shall choose to be obedient to God in all things and enjoy His blessings. So shall it be in Jesus name.

Deu 30:19 — Deu 30:20  I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: That thou mayest love the Lord thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

Immediately after the flood that destroyed the whole earth. God made His plans known to the new generation.  They were supposed to replenish the whole earth. See it.

Genesis 9:1  And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.

Genesis 9:7  And you, be ye fruitful, and multiply; bring forth abundantly in the earth, and multiply therein.

God was very emphatic on His new plan and gave them opportunity as free moral agent to do the right thing. But then, the first rebellion was  recorded.  They set aside the plan of God, to make name for themselves.  See it.

Genesis 11:4  And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.

This is what is called BABEL ,serving God at your own terms . See the full account of the issue.

Gen 11:1 — Gen 11:9.  And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.

Beloved, before you begin to judge these people, why don’t you examine yourself. Are you better than them?  Has  God  not made His will known to you in the Bible?
What are you doing with them? Are you obeying the entirety of God’s unfailing words in the Bible or you choose to serve Him, on your own terms and not His revealed will?
See what God is saying to you in particular.

Amos 3:3  Can two walk together, except they be agreed?

You need to know that God always address rebellion and disobedience in the same way. You have seen how He handled BABEL.
There languages were confounded and they were scattered.
If you go through the Bible, you will discover that this privilege given to humanity have been misused and multitude of people have suffered irrevocable losses.
This shall not be your portion.  So desist from such lifestyle.  See what the Bible says about some people in Bible days.

Jeremiah 6:16  Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.

Jeremiah 2:13  For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.

Jeremiah 2:25  Withhold thy foot from being unshod, and thy throat from thirst: but thou saidst, There is no hope: no; for I have loved strangers, and after them will I go.

Jeremiah 18:12  And they said, There is no hope: but we will walk after our own devices, and we will every one do the imagination of his evil heart.

Jeremiah 22:21    I spake unto thee in thy prosperity; but thou saidst, I will not hear. This hath been thy manner from thy youth, that thou obeyedst not my voice.

Jer 7:23 — Jer 7:24  But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you. But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward.

Jer 44:16 — Jer 44:17  As for the word that thou hast spoken unto us in the name of the Lord, we will not hearken unto thee. But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil.

Jeremiah 8:6 I hearkened and heard, but they spake not aright: no man repented him of his wickedness, saying, What have I done? every one turned to his course, as the horse rusheth into the battle.

Jeremiah 8:12  Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore shall they fall among them that fall: in the time of their visitation they shall be cast down, saith the Lord.

Psalms 12:4  Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; our lips are our own: who is lord over us?

Exodus 5:2  And Pharaoh said, Who is the Lord, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not the Lord, neither will I let Israel go.

Job 21:15  What is the Almighty, that we should serve him? and what profit should we have, if we pray unto him?

Luke 19:14  But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us.

Luke 6:46  And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

Jn 9:24 — Jn 9:28  Then again called they the man that was blind, and said unto him, Give God the praise: we know that this man is a sinner. He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see. Then said they to him again, What did he to thee? how opened he thine eyes? He answered them, I have told you already, and ye did not hear: wherefore would ye hear it again? will ye also be his disciples? Then they reviled him, and said, Thou art his disciple; but we are Moses’ disciples.

Mat 7:21 — Mat 7:23  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Beloved, globally, this same attitude is still prevalent. Today multitude in Christendom think they could placate God with offerings and worship, while  living in  outright disobedience to His words. They shall be abysmally disappointed.
See what God says about your offerings.

1Sa 15:22 — 1Sa 15:23  And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.  For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

Pro 15:8  The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord:but the prayer of the upright is his delight.

See what God says about your  worship. God magnifies His words more than any way, you might worship Him. Don’t be deceived.

Psalms 138:2  I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name

Beloved, your desire to be part of the dawning rapture shall be granted in Jesus name. But then you must heed the warning of God on BABEL.
If after you have known the reveal will of God on any issue and then you do contrary.  Certainly, such a person is going to face severe wrath of God. See it.

Heb 10:26 — Heb 10:31  For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

But then to be on the safe side, be in agreement with God.

Amos 3:3  Can two walk together, except they be agreed?

Not all roads lead to heaven. Only the narrow road. The way of holiness.
Is that where you are walking?  If not, we certainly will not see you in heaven. Join the road now . Repent.

Mat 7:13 — Mat 7:14  Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Luk 13:24 — Luk 13:27  Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.

Isa 35:8 — Isa 35:9  And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.  No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there:

Beloved, if you must be part of the dawning rapture, you must be living the lifestyle of a wise virgin.
There are innumerable numbers of foolish virgins in the universal church of Christ.

Mat 25:1 — Mat 25:13  Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

If you want to be part of the rapture.  Are you biblically born again?
Are you walking in biblical holiness and righteousness as revealed in the Bible.
Have you done your restitutions?
Have you sent away the remarried spouse, when your rightful spouse is still alive?
Have stopped giving or taking bribe?
Are you free from worldliness and worldly association?

James 4:4  Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

1Jo 2:15 — 1Jo 2:17  Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Are you living by the entirety of God’s unfailing words in the Bible?

Rev 3:10 — Rev 3:11  Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

Are you part of the glorious church?
See what must characterize your lifestyle.

Eph 5:25 — Eph 5:27  Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

Tit 2:11 — Tit 2:13  For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

Are you part of the graceless church?  See what characterise their lifestyle.

2Ti 3:1 — 2Ti 3:5  This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

Titus 1:16  They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

Please be very sincere. Don’t be presumptuous. Examine yourself. Which of the churches you belong to?

2 Corinthians 13:5  Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

See the resolution of Joshua. A member of   the   glorious church.

Joshua 24:15  And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

See what the Lord said of Abraham on this side of heaven and in eternity, living with God.
Earthly blessings.

Gen 22:15 — Gen 22:18  And the angel of the Lord called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time, And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the Lord, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.

Eternal blessings.

Heb 11:13 — Heb 11:16  These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

So follow these  good examples. Do what the scriptures says to be part of the imminent rapture or glory with God. The good Lord shall help you in particular in Jesus name.

Isa 33:15 — Isa 33:17  He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;  He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.  Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off.

See you at the top in Jesus name
