Dearly beloved brethren the greatest gift, our loving Father in heaven has given His saints and believers are His unfailing unchanging eternal words .

These words are so wonderful and when it pleased God to open your eyes , you shall discover wondrous things.

Psalms 119:18 Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.

Beloved the wondrous things you shall discover are the wonderful works of the Word personified, Jesus Christ, our Master and Lord.

Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Isaiah 25:1 O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.

Thy testimonies [ decrees, laws. commandments, statues ] are wonderful [ wondrous and gracious ]: therefore doth my soul keep them. – Psalms 119:129

In addition, you shall discover the wondrous things of the word are the testimonies of our Master and Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

No wonder, our Lord Jesus Christ said, you should search the scriptures and you shall discover from the sixty six books of the Bible, nothing else apart from Him.

John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

Your discovery of Jesus Christ from the entirety of the Bible, is the most wonderful knowledge

Psalms 139:6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.

Beloved there are three prophets in the Bible that had unusual revelations about Jesus. King David, Isaiah and Daniel.

See here how David was affected towards the word of God. 1. He admired it, as most excellent in itself: Thy testimonies are wonderful. The word of God gives us admirable discoveries of God, and Christ, and another world; admirable proofs of divine love and grace. The majesty of the style, the purity of the matter, the harmony of the parts, are all wonderful. Its effects upon the consciences of men, both for conviction and comfort, are wonderful; and it is a sign that we are not acquainted with God’s testimonies, or do not understand them, if we do not admire them. 2. He adhered to it as of constant use to him: “Therefore doth my soul keep them, as a treasure of inestimable value, which I cannot be without.” We do not keep them to any purpose unless our souls keep them. There they must be deposited, as the tables of testimony in the ark, there they must have the innermost and uppermost place. Those that see God’s word to be admirable will prize it highly and preserve it carefully, as that which they promise themselves great things from.

Beloved it is time for you too, to begin to behold the wondrous things from the scriptures, when you do, this singular needful thing.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

May the good Lord help you to admire God’s unfailing unchanging eternal words of God and be obedient to it in its entirety, like king David, did.
