Enrich and Sustain your relationship with Jesus reading our daily devotional Revelation 4:1 -5 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald. And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold. And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

Beloved, the interval between the blowing of the sixth and seventh trumpets continues. This is because, God is set to accomplish the purposes the great tribulation are to achieve.
At the end of this period, God shall be vindicated as a covenant keeping God. and the people of Israel shall have no excuse.

Rom 11:25 — Rom 11:27 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins

Remember the seven years of the period of the great tribulation, is divided into two ,three and half years. See the prophecy of Daniel.

Daniel 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Also the purpose of the great tribulation is to unleash righteous judgement of God on the rebelious worldlings and the deliverance of the one third of the children of Israel that shall be saved during the same period.

Zch 13:8 — Zch 13:9 And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the Lord, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The Lord is my God.

The first three and a half years have been completed and the false peace of the Antichrist with Israel has ended.

Rev 6:1 — Rev 6:4 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword

The second part of the three and a half years have started with the Antichrist, coming out in his true color.
At this time apostle John was given something like a tape rule or a reed to measure the temple and the worshippers. See it.

Rev 11:1 — Rev 11:2. And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

But then of what importance is this temple?
This is because, this temple shall cause the crisis and calamities that shall lead to the death of innumerable numbers of the people of Israel.
If you go back to memory lane, at the tail end of the earthly ministry of our Lord, remember the mount Olive discourse..

Mat 24:1 — Mat 24:3 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

Our Lord prophesied that the temple king Herod built shall be destroyed.
This was fulfilled to the letter in AD 70, when general Titus brought down the temple and because of the greed of the Roman soldiers. They broke the temple down completely for them to remove the entire gold, the temple was adorn with.
But then this particular temple John was to measure was built by the Antichrist, when the false peace was existing.
During the forty two months or the second part of the three and half years, when he shall come out in his true color,. He would be disrupting the Jewish worship, because, he would want to sit as God to be worshipped.
Jesus our Lord spoke about it and the blessed Holy Spirit spoke about it, through apostle Paul. See them.

Matthew 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

2Th 2:3 — 2Th 2:4 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Now during these forty two months or the second half of the three and half years, multitude of the Jews shall loose their lives.
This is because they shall want to possess the temple and the Antichrist also will be doing everything to dispossess them.
IT IS THIS POSSESSING AND DISPOSSESSING, OF THE TEMPLE AND THE WORSHIPPERS THAT APOSTLE JOHN, WAS TOLD TO MEASURE. See it again.

However, at this time, the providence of God shall come to bear again. Remember at every point in time, He has no pleasure in the death of sinners.

Ezk 18:30 — Ezk 18:32 Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord God. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin. Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel? For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord God: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Beloved, I am persuaded you are saved. There is no singular damned soul that shall get to God and have excuse for the damnation.
Even at this time, God raised up prophets to preach His world for some of these people to be saved.

Rev 11:3 — Rev 11:4 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

Unfortunately, according to God’s word, they despised God”s word from these prophets of God

Rom 2:4 — Rom 2:6 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; Who will render to every man according to his deeds

This was why these two prophets from God are dressed in sackcloth. The inhabitants of the earth at this time, rejected their message of repentance.

Jer 4:7 — Jer 4:9 The lion is come up from his thicket, and the destroyer of the Gentiles is on his way; he is gone forth from his place to make thy land desolate; and thy cities shall be laid waste, without an inhabitant. For this gird you with sackcloth, lament and howl: for the fierce anger of the Lord is not turned back from us. And it shall come to pass at that day, saith the Lord, that the heart of the king shall perish, and the heart of the princes; and the priests shall be astonished, and the prophets shall wonder.

During the second half of the three and half years or forty two months, God shall send these special prophets from heaven, dressed in mourning or sackcloth, preaching the gospel during the great tribulation . See it again.

Rev 11:3 — Rev 11:4 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

Beloved do you know this was afulfilment of prophecies.

Zch 4:2 — Zch 4:3 And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof: And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof.

Zch 4:11 — Zch 4:14 Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof? And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves? And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord. Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.

Beloved these prophets are not like Gabriel or Michael, standing before the God of heaven.

Luke 1:19 And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings.

But like Elijah that even though, he was on the earth, had close relationship with God. See it.

1 Kings 17:1 And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the Lord God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.

But then, they are very powerful like Elijah of old.

Revelation 11:5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.

They manifested this awesome power to deal with any and every forms of opposition from anyone and everyone. Such people shall be killed.
Beloved , recount the scenes that happened between Elijah and soldiers of Ahab.

2Ki 1:9 — 2Ki 1:12 Then the king sent unto him a captain of fifty with his fifty. And he went up to him: and, behold, he sat on the top of an hill. And he spake unto him, Thou man of God, the king hath said, Come down. And Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, If I be a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And there came down fire from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty. Again also he sent unto him another captain of fifty with his fifty. And he answered and said unto him, O man of God, thus hath the king said, Come down quickly. And Elijah answered and said unto them, If I be a man of God, let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And the fire of God came down from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.

This same awesome power was demonstrated in the ministry of Moses. His opposers were killed.

Num 16:28 — Num 16:35 And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that the Lord hath sent me to do all these works; for I have not done them of mine own mind. If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be visited after the visitation of all men; then the Lord hath not sent me. But if the Lord make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the Lord. And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them: And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods. They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation. And all Israel that were round about them fled at the cry of them: for they said, Lest the earth swallow us up also. And there came out a fire from the Lord, and consumed the two hundred and fifty men that offered incense.

Deu 34:10 — Deu 34:12 And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face, In all the signs and the wonders, which the Lord sent him to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land, And in all that mighty hand, and in all the great terror which Moses shewed in the sight of all Israel.

Beloved, anyone who try to oppose these two prophets from heaven are severely dealt with.

Revelation 11:6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

See the power demonstrated by these two prophets from heaven were prophesied.

Mal 4:1 — Mal 4:6 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the Lord of hosts. Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

The ministry of these two prophets from heaven resemble that of Moses and Elijah.
They shall prophecy during the second half of the great tribulation. Dressed in sack cloth.
They functioned as prophets and evangelist and proclaiming the word of God with signs and wonders during the great tribulation..
Beloved these two prophets are invincible and unconquerable, despite the opposition they faced from the Antichrist and the inhabitants of the earth during the great tribulation.
But then, God permitted both to be killed by the Antichrist at the end of their mission, not before.

Revelation 11:7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

Beloved your life is secured until you finish your assignment on earth. No one can cut short your life.
Remember, king Saul tried severally but could not kill David, until he finished his mission on earth. See it. This is applicable to you too.

Acts 13:22 And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.

Acts 13:36 For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:

The same thing happened to our Lord. Nobody could kill Him, until He completed His assignment.

John 17:4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.

John 17:13 And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.

The same thing happened to apostle Paul, despite the fierce opposition to his ministry. His life was not cut short. Yours too shall not by the grace of God. You shall fulfill God’s agenda on earth in Jesus name.

2Ti 4:6 — 2Ti 4:7 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

Beloved see God’s promises to Jeremiah, which is applicable to you too. Despite severe opposition to his ministry.

Jeremiah 1:10 See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.

Jer 1:17 — Jer 1:19 Thou therefore gird up thy loins, and arise, and speak unto them all that I command thee: be not dismayed at their faces, lest I confound thee before them. For, behold, I have made thee this day a defenced city, and an iron pillar, and brasen walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against the princes thereof, against the priests thereof, and against the people of the land. And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee, saith the Lord, to deliver thee.

Beloved, see the attitude of the inhabitants of the earth, during the great tribulation. When these two prophets were permitted to be killed at the end of their mission on earth. The whole world celebrated their death and they were not buried.

Rev 11:7 — Rev 11: And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

Their dead bodies were left in Jerusalem, which was referred to as. Sodom and Egypt, because of the sins of the people..
This same thing was done in the days of Jeremiah.

Jer 23:14 — Jer 23:15 I have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem an horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of evildoers, that none doth return from his wickedness: they are all of them unto me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah. Therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts concerning the prophets; Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of gall: for from the prophets of Jerusalem is profaneness gone forth into all the land.

Can you imagine the whole world celebrating the death of these prophets sent from heaven to earth.

Rev 11:9 — Rev 11:11 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.

Revelation 11:12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

Now at the end of the three days, God sent the same Spirit that raised our Lord and they arouse and recalled back to heaven.

Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

But then, the raising and recalling of these prophets back to heaven, struck terror and fear in the lives of all the inhabitants of the earth

Revelation 11:11 And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.

Jeremiah 33:9 And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honour before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it.

Beloved, since the entire inhabitants of the earth rejected the ministry of these two prophets and celebrated their death. God punished them severely for it.

Rev 11:13 — Rev 11:14 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven. The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.

Jer 50:10 — Jer 50:11 And Chaldea shall be a spoil: all that spoil her shall be satisfied, saith the Lord. Because ye were glad, because ye rejoiced, O ye destroyers of mine heritage, because ye are grown fat as the heifer at grass, and bellow as bulls;

Beloved, there is something of note that happens at this time. The death of the people that died at this time, made the inhabitants of the earth to tremble and glorified God.
However, it was short-lived. This also happened at the initial stage of the great tribulation, when there was earthquake.

Revelation 6:12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

Revelation 6:15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

Our Lord Jesus Christ, during His earthly ministry, had prophesied that , this shall happen.

Luk 21:25 — Luk 21:26 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

Beloved, see the attitude of the same people that trembled before God ,when the earthquake took place. They go back to their sin after some time.

Rev 13:4 — Rev 13:6 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

Their repentance was temporal and short lived.
This has happened before in the time past. See it.

Num 16:32 — Num 16:34 And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods. They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation. And all Israel that were round about them fled at the cry of them: for they said, Lest the earth swallow us up also.

These same people that trembled at the Judgement of God, the previous day, went back to sin , the following day and God judged them.

Num 16:41 — Num 16:45 But on the morrow all the congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron, saying, Ye have killed the people of the Lord. And it came to pass, when the congregation was gathered against Moses and against Aaron, that they looked toward the tabernacle of the congregation: and, behold, the cloud covered it, and the glory of the Lord appeared. And Moses and Aaron came before the tabernacle of the congregation. And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, Get you up from among this congregation, that I may consume them as in a moment. And they fell upon their faces.

Num 16:46 — Num 16:49 And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a censer, and put fire therein from off the altar, and put on incense, and go quickly unto the congregation, and make an atonement for them: for there is wrath gone out from the Lord; the plague is begun. And Aaron took as Moses commanded, and ran into the midst of the congregation; and, behold, the plague was begun among the people: and he put on incense, and made an atonement for the people. And he stood between the dead and the living; and the plague was stayed. Now they that died in the plague were fourteen thousand and seven hundred, beside them that died about the matter of Korah.

Beloved, pause here and examine yourself. Whenever you see others experience fearful things that makes you tremble. Does it last long or is always short lived like these people?
Anyone and everyone professing religion, who have this attitude can not be part of the rapture or even live with God eternally.
But those like you, who have lasting repentance and fear of God are the people that shall be part of the rapture and live with God eternally.
Receive grace of God to continue in this lifestyle till Jesus comes.

Revelation 14:7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

Revelation 15:4 Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

Hos 6:1 — Hos 6:3 Come, and let us return unto the Lord: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight. Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.

Beloved , only those who embrace the lifestyle of biblical salvation and permanent repentance like you shall be part of the dawning rapture.

Hebrews 2:3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; a

These are the twenty four elders apostle John saw before the throne of God in heaven.
Certainly you and I shall be part of the team. So we must determinedly cultivate and sustain this lifestyle till our Lord comes.
The good Lord shall help us in Jesus name.

Rev 4:1 — Rev 4:5 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
