Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | March 18, 2020 | Enrich and Sustain your relationship with Jesus reading our daily devotional – Exodus 12:49 – One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.

Beloved, at the verge of stepping into liberty after four hundred and thity years captivity of the children of Israel, God gave them, a very important instruction to characterise their lifestyle when they get to the promised Land.

All through their lifetime on this side of heaven , irrespective of their status, as a people and as a nation, they must all be ruled and controlled by one law. See it.

Exodus 12:49 One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.

Because of the importance of this commandment which must be the singular lifestyle of the people, it was severally repeated to them for emphasis.

Leviticus 24:22 Ye shall have one manner of law, as well for the stranger, as for one of your own country: for I am the Lord your God.

Numbers 9:14 And if a stranger shall sojourn among you, and will keep the passover unto the Lord; according to the ordinance of the passover, and according to the manner thereof, so shall he do: ye shall have one ordinance, both for the stranger, and for him that was born in the land.

Numbers 15:29 Ye shall have one law for him that sinneth through ignorance, both for him that is born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them.

This same principle is to characterise the lifestyle of all believers of all ages until Christ comes in the air to take us home.

Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

Colossians 3:11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.

This becomes absolutely necessary because the same blood and same redemptive work of Christ, brought us all to His kingdom.

Acts 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

In addition to this, we are all feeding from the same scriptures or the Bible.

Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

No wonder when our Lord completed His earthly ministry after His resurrection and before His ascension to glory, He gave His

ministers and church , of all ages a compelling commandment with eternal blessings when fully obeyed and consequences when despised or rejected. See it.

Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Beloved, if this exhortation is fully obeyed by everyone professing to be believers irrespective of the name of the ministries, they belong to, we should all have universal biblical standard of lifestyle.

This is because we are all to be living by one law or the entirety of the words contained in the Bible.

Very very unfortunately, because the universal church of Christ despised this most compelling commandment of our Lord and commit themselves to doing what they seem to be right, their is shameful disparity in lifestyle of the so called believers and churches globally.

Judges 21:25 In those days there was no king in Israel: every man did that which was right in his own eyes.

Deuteronomy 12:8 Ye shall not do after all the things that we do here this day, every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes.

Very unfortunately, this licentious and wilful lifestyle has regrettable and painful eternal consequences.

Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Beloved, this is a very serious issue and you should place the right premium on your precious undying soul.

The buck stops with you. I earnestly pray for you that the dawning rapture shall not elude you and your soul shall not be damned in Jesus name.

Because this shall be so, you must take drastic step now to ensure your precious undying soul is secured and your eternity with God is guaranteed . See what the Bible says.

1. No matter what your minister might say is his or her calling.

No matter what you yourself say is the reason why you continue with a ministry and minister picking and choosing what is convenient in the Bible to preach instead of the entirety of the scriptures. God knows your heart.

Luk 16:15 And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.

2. Jesus our Lord left an undeniable legacy for all heaven bound believers to follow. He did all He taught and commanded His church and ministers to continue all He taught.

Acts 1:1. The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,

Matthew 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

1 Timothy 4:16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

3. Any word in the Bible, even if it is one, not obeyed shall judge the person in eternity. I earnestly pray for you in particular that God’s unchanging, infallible words in the Bible shall not judge you in eternity in Jesus name.

Jn 12:46 — Jn 12:48 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

4. To help you in particular to be part of the dawning rapture and avoid subsequent great tribulation, you must live by the entirety of the word of God in the Bible.

Rev 3:10 — Rev 3:11 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

2Ti 3:16 — 2Ti 3:17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

5. For you in particular not to hear I never know you from the mouth of Christ at eternity. Be wise now and do His entire sayings.

Mat 7:21 — Mat 7:27 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

6. One word in the Bible that any minister and his or her congregations failed to live by shall remove their names from the book of life and damn their souls. This shall not be your portion in Jesus name.

Rev 22:18 — Rev 22:19 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Beloved with your understanding of all of the above. See what the scriptures says shall characterise the lifestyle of nominal churchgoers globally at the end of time.

1. They shall perish because they do not have love for the truth of God’s eternal infallible words.

2Th 2:10 — 2Th 2:12 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

2. They shall depart from the faith, meaning they shall forsake the old pathway of God and His entire words in the Bible.

1Ti 4:1 — 1Ti 4:2 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

3. They shall be lovers of pleasure and reprobate while professing to Know the Lord.

2Ti 3:1 — 2Ti 3:5 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

Titus 1:16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

4. They shall have itching ears seeking for deceptive ministers and motivational speakers.

2Ti 4:1 — 2Ti 4:4. I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

Jeremiah 5:31 The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?

Because you shall be part of the dawning rapture and live eternally with God in heaven, see His all important exhortations that you must determinedly be obedient to.

1. Avoid any minister or ministry not teaching and living by the entirety of the word of God in the Bible.

Rom 16:17 — Rom 16:18 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

2Jo 1:8 — 2Jo 1:11 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

2. Cut off and Separate yourself from anyone and everyone who are not living by the entirety of the word of God in the Bible.

Mar 9:43 — Mar 9:48 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

2Co 6:14 — 2Co 6:18 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

The grace of God will be sufficient for you and enable you to meet the godly standard that shall guarantee your readiness for the dawning rapture and your eternal well-being in Jesus mighty name.

2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

Tit 2:11 — Tit 2:13 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
