Dearly beloved brethren, it is God’s utmost desire that you should understand His words in the Bible.
Mat 13:23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
But then, it is also important for you to know that, you need to make efforts to understand the words of God in the Bible.
Pro 2:1 — Pro 2:6 My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee; 2. So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom,and apply thine heart to understanding; 3 Yea, if thou criest after knowledge,and liftest up thy voice for understanding; 4 If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; 5 Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God. 6 For the LORD giveth wisdom:out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.
For this to happen, He has raised godly teachers to teach His people His words.
Neh 8:8 So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading.
Acts 8:30-31 And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest? 8:31 And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.

Even after the resurrection of our Lord, He made efforts to open the understanding of His disciples for them to understand the scriptures.
Luke 24:44-45 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. 24:45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
Dearly beloved brethren, you need to earnestly pray to understand the scriptures.

Psalms 119:18. Open thou mine eyes,that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.
Psa 119:27. Make me to understand the way of thy precepts:so shall I talk of thy wondrous works.
When his prayers were answered by the Lord, he had more understanding than others.
Psa 119:100 I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts.

Beloved you also must make efforts to understand the words of God in the Bible for your earthly and eternal well-being.
2Ch 26:5 And he sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God: and as long as he sought the Lord, God made him to prosper.
The good Lord shall bless and prosperity you in particular, as you seek to understand His unfailing, unchanging eternal words in Jesus name.
