Phm 1:22 But withal prepare me also a lodging: for I trust that through your prayers I shall be given unto you.
Beloved, this saying is very true. A prayerless Christian is a powerless one. While a prayerful Christian is a powerful one. Where do you belong? It is important that you be like Christ. He began His ministry by praying.
Luke 3:21 Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened,
He sustained His ministry by praying.
Mark 1:35 And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.
Mar 6:46 And when he had sent them away, he departed into a mountain to pray.
Luk 6:12 And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.
He ended His ministry by praying.
Luk 22:41 — Luk 22:44 And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him. And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
Beloved, if prayer was the lifestyle and heartbeat of Christ. You do not have any excuse to be found wanting in the place of prayer.
Luke 18:1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
There is nothing wrong when you ask others to pray for you. But you yourself must be a man or woman of prayer. Jesus asked His disciples to pray for Him. But He Himself was a man of prayer. Paul apostle asked Philemon and others to pray for him, to be realised from prison, but he himself was a prayer warrior. See it.

Beloved, if there is anything God delight’s to see believers of all ages and you in particular doing, it is communing with Him in prayer as a beloved child to a caring Father. See it.
Isaiah 65:24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
Jer 29:12 — Jer 29:13 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
When you pray, you can move God to save the worst of sinners.
Abraham saved Lot from destruction of Sodon, when he prayed for him
Genesis 19:29 And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in the which Lot dwelt.
Moses saved the whole nation of Israel and idolatrous Aaron, when he prayed for them
Deu 9:18 — Deu 9:20 And I fell down before the Lord, as at the first, forty days and forty nights: I did neither eat bread, nor drink water, because of all your sins which ye sinned, in doing wickedly in the sight of the Lord, to provoke him to anger. For I was afraid of the anger and hot displeasure, wherewith the Lord was wroth against you to destroy you. But the Lord hearkened unto me at that time also. And the Lord was very angry with Aaron to have destroyed him: and I prayed for Aaron also the same time.
Rahab the prostitute stopped the destruction of her life and members of her household, when she prayed
Jos 2:11 — Jos 2:13 And as soon as we had heard these things, our hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for the Lord your God, he is God in heaven above, and in earth beneath. Now therefore, I pray you, swear unto me by the Lord, since I have shewed you kindness, that ye will also shew kindness unto my father’s house, and give me a true token: And that ye will save alive my father, and my mother, and my brethren, and my sisters, and all that they have, and deliver our lives from death.
See ,she and her household were the only people that were not destroyed in Jericho
Jos 6:22 — Jos 6:25 But Joshua had said unto the two men that had spied out the country, Go into the harlot’s house, and bring out thence the woman, and all that she hath, as ye sware unto her. The young men that were spies went in, and brought out Rahab, and her father, and her mother, and her brethren, and all that she had; and they brought out all her kindred, and left them without the camp of Israel. They burnt the city with fire, and all that was therein: only the silver, and the gold, and the vessels of brass and of iron, they put into the treasury of the house of the Lord. JAnd Joshua saved Rahab the harlot alive, and her father’s household, and all that she had; and she dwelleth in Israel even unto this day; because she hid the messengers, which Joshua sent to spy out Jericho.
Beloved, your unsaved spouse, children, parents, siblings, in laws, close and extended family members shall be saved, if you will pray for them.
Romans 10:1 Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.
BUT THEN REMEMBER THIS. DON’T EVER EVER FORGET IT. A praying man will not be sinning. A sinning man will not be praying. The prayer of a sinner is an abomination to God. It will never be heard.
Pro 15:8 The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord:but the prayer of the upright is his delight.
Isa 59:1 — Isa 59:2 Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.
Zechariah 7:13 Therefore it is come to pass, that as he cried, and they would not hear; so they cried, and I would not hear, saith the Lord of hosts:
John 9:31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.
But then , you are not a sinner so pray and God will answer all your prayers and you shall advance the eternal purpose of God on earth in Jesus name.
Psalms 4:3 But know that the Lord hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the Lord will hear when I call unto him.
Dearly beloved, Jesus our Lord lived a lifestyle of advancing the eternal purposes of God on earth, through persistent and prevailing prayers, during His earthly ministry. See some instances.
He prayed for Peter from been sifted by satan.
Luk 22:31 — Luk 22:32 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
He prayed for the forgiveness of His persecutors on the cross.
Luke 23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.
He prayed for Bible days believers and by extension believers of all ages, most importantly you. See them
John 17:9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.
Jn 17:15 — Jn 17:17 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
John 17:24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
The blessed Holy Spirit intending to encourage believers of all ages, especially you, about the potency of their prayers in advancing the eternal purposes of God on earth, inspired apostle Paul to pen this very important prayer . See it.

Now see yourself, how God eternal purposes were advanced on earth, during the Bible days
1. Praying in anticipation for the promised baptism of Holy Spirit.
Act 1:12 — Act 1:14 Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day’s journey. And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James. These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.
2. Prayed for the selection of apostle that replaced Judas .
Act 1:23 — Act 1:26 And they appointed two, Joseph called Barsabas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias. They prayed, and said, Thou, Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men, shew whether of these two thou hast chosen, That he may take part of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place. They gave forth their lots; and the lot fell upon Matthias; and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.
3. Praying for boldness to preach the Gospel.
Act 4:23 — Act 4:33 And being let go, they went to their own company, and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said unto them. And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is: Who by the mouth of thy servant David hast said, Why did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things? The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ. For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together, For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done. Now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, By stretching forth thine hand to heal; that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus. when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness. The multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common. With great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.
4. Praying for restoration of bavksliders.
Gal 4:19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,
5. Praying for Christian experiences for believers
1 Thessalonians 3:10 Night and day praying exceedingly that we might see your face, and might perfect that which is lacking in your faith?
Colossians 4:12 Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.
Dearly beloved, it is your turn to do sane. May the good Lord help you in Jesus name .
1 Samuel 12:23 Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the Lord in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way:
Friend, your earnest desire to be part of the dawning rapture, shall be granted in Jesus name. But then you can not afford to be slack in the place of prayers. You will continue to edify yourself, as you engage tirelessly in advancing God’s eternal purposes on earth. See what to do at this end time.
Jud 1:22 — Jud 1:23 And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
Jam 5:19 — Jam 5:20 Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.
You spend time personally praying for yourself and others, them like apostle Paul, encourage others to pray for you .

When you do these, you can be sure God will continue to answer your prayers.
1 John 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
So till Jesus comes, engage ceaselessly and tirelessly in praying the following ways :
1. To be kept from falling.
Jude 1:24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
2 Pray not to look back like Lot”s wife and Demas.
Luke 9:62 And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
3. As iniquities abound in the last days, pray for grace to endure to the end.
Mat 24:12 — Mat 24:13 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Pray for grace to remain undefiled to the end.
2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
The good Lord shall help you in particular in Jesus name.
