Enrich and Sustain your relationship with Jesus reading our daily devotional – Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. – Matthew 7:13-14.
Beloved, sometimes it is good for you to dwell on the events of the past and cone up with sound wisdom, that will help you avert the costly mistakes of the people of old. Just after the flood through which the whole people in the then world were destroyed.
As the people multiplied again, after the flood, they embarked on a project contrary to God’s will. They planned to build a tower whose top might reach heaven. Meaning they wanted to be reaching God their own way, not the way God had planned for humanity.
The Triune God, came together and stopped the project. It is surprising today, that many people inside and outside the church also wants to get to heaven by their own devices , disregarding the process God had put in place to reaching Him.
Before you blame them, won’t you check up, if you are not caught in the same web? It is dangerous. It leads to a dead end.. It brings catastrophe. See it.
Genesis 11:1-9. And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter. And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech. So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the Lord did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the Lord scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.
Beloved, see the one singular way, God had planned from the outset for His saints to reach Him at the end of their sojourn on earth.
Isaiah 35:8-9. And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein. No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there:
Interestingly, globally, this singular way had been abandoned. Humanity enjoys wickedness and sins, yet they are hoping by and by, they shall get to heaven.

Only one road leads to heaven. See how the Bible describes this singular high way of holiness.
Matthew 7:13-14. Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Beloved, have you discovered this high way? Have you entered the straight gate? Don’t follow the undoing of the vast majority of people inside and outside the church.
If you are not on the narrow way., then the end is going to be eternal flames.
This shall not be your portion in Jesus name. Now is the time to turn and enter the one road that leads to life.
Jeremiah 6:16: Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.
No wonder, see what the Bible says.
1 Peter 4:17 -18. For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
Beloved, how do you get to this singular road, that leads to life ? It is through biblical repentance.
Isaiah 55:6.- 7. Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
Ezekiel 18:27 -32. Again, when the wicked man turneth away from his wickedness that he hath committed, and doeth that which is lawful and right, he shall save his soul alive. Because he considereth, and turneth away from all his transgressions that he hath committed, he shall surely live, he shall not die. Yet saith the house of Israel, The way of the Lord is not equal. O house of Israel, are not my ways equal? are not your ways unequal? Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin. Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel? For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.
Proverbs 28:13. He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
2 Chronicles 7:14. If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Beloved, have you genuinely repented from all your sins and forsaken them? Have you been throughly washed with the precious blood flowing ceaselessly at Calvary? Or are you too, building your own tower to reach God, apart from what His words says in the Bible?
Multitude of people inside and outside of the church, in the time past and even now, have been abysmally disappointed after crossing the river of death. They rejected the high way of holiness.
They do not want to pass through the straight gate and they ended up in hell. This shall not be your portion. Listen now to what Jesus said, before it is too late.
Enter through the straight gate. Enter the high way of holiness. May the good Lord help you to be wise unto salvation in Jesus name.
Dearly beloved, both our Lord and the blessed Holy Spirit were emphatic and pungent about following our Lord and its dear cost. See what they said.
Matthew 16:24 -25. Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
Mark 8:34: ¶And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
Luke 14:33: So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.
John 10:9: I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
John 14:6: Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 15:18 -20. If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
John 16:2: They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.
John 16:33: These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Acts 14:22: Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.
1 Thessalonians 3:2 -5. And sent Timotheus, our brother, and minister of God, and our fellowlabourer in the gospel of Christ, to establish you, and to comfort you concerning your faith: That no man should be moved by these afflictions: for yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto. For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye know. For this cause, when I could no longer forbear, I sent to know your faith, lest by some means the tempter have tempted you, and our labour be in vain.
This is the resultant effect of walking on the singular way that leads to life, according to Jesus.
Dearly beloved, it is very unfortunate that, globally in the church world,, only very few people are actually following this singular road to life.
You need to be very sure that you are one of them
See what Jesus said.
Matthew 7:13-14. Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Luke 13:23-27. Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.
The reason why few people are found on this straight gate is because of the processes it entails.
1. Biblical repentance:
Matthew 3:2: And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Matthew 4:17. From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Mark 1:15. And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
Acts 3:19: ¶Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
Acts 17:30-31. And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.
2. Biblical Restitutions:
Matthew 3:8: Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:
Luke 3:8: Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.
Matthew 5:23-24. Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.
Luke 19:8-9. And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold. And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham.
Acts 24:16. And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men.
3. Biblical humility.
Matthew 18:2-3. And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Luke 18:14. I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
Matthew 5:3: Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 23:12: And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.
James 4:6: But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
James 4:10: Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
1 Peter 5:5 -6. Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
Galatians 5:24: And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
4. Living separated lifestyle:
2 Corinthians 6:17: Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
James 4:4. Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
Dearly beloved, don’t be presumptuous and deceive yourself. Examine yourself, have you done these four things?
2 Corinthians 13:5. Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
You do not need a seer to tell you that, if you have not done these things, you have not entered the narrow gate. When you really enter, satan will inform all the demons of hell and then you begin to carry your cross. People that are on the narrow road, don’t jump up and down. The cross and the hatred of satan and his human agents don’t allow them. Please heed the counsel of Jesus, enter the way to life, through the narrow gate now. The good Lord shall help you in Jesus name.
John 17:14. I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
1 John 3:13. Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.
Luke 9:23-26. And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away? For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father’s, and of the holy angels.
JESUS’S. FAULTLESS REVELATION OF THE SINGULAR WAY TO LIFE. FOLLOW IT
Friend, going by the parable of our Lord on the ten virgins, only the few saints on the narrow road shall be part of the dawning rapture. They are the few that have bought what churchgoers shall go and buy with their blood, during the great tribulation. Then, they shall do the restitutions. Then they shall be humble, pride of who they are would have left them.
Then they shall separate themselves from the ungodly friends, worldliness and worldly practices of doing business and other things. Then they shall accept the entirety of Christ words that brings satanic hatred and the cross.
Pause here. Have you bought all of these now, when grace is still available? I am persuaded you are a wise person. Please join the wise virgins now. Do not wait , until the believers that fall into the category of the five wise virgins are gone? See how the Bible describe the five virgins on the narrow road and the five foolish virgins on the broad road.
Matthew 25:1-12. Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
Friend, don’t allow the god of this world to blind your eyes to the processes of entering the straight gate. Failure to enter that straight gate shall end up in hell and not partaking in the rapture.
2 Corinthians 4:3-4. But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
Matthew 25:41: Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
Matthew 25:46: And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
Friend, there is no other better time to enter apart from now, if you have not enter. This is the time to follow the faultless revelation of Jesus on the one singular way that leads to life. See it.
Matthew 7:13-14. Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Receive grace to enter now, if you have not. May the Lord find you faithful and ready when He comes in Jesus name.
