This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him; 5:2 Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created. – Genesis 5:1

Dearly beloved brethren, it was true that Adam through voluntary disobedience, lost the likeness of God, with which, he was created. See what he lost again.

Beloved, see what he was at creation.

Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

The Bible reveals the meaning of this image to you.

Ephesians 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

It is important to know that our Lord Jesus Christ through His redemptive work restored this lost likeness back to humanity.

Hebrews 13:12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.

Hebrews 10:14
For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 5:26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 5:27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

But for you in particular to attain this likeness, you must earnestly desire it in prayer and follow the biblical process.

Matthew 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

You must as a matter of compulsion, be biblically saved, before, desiring to be sanctified.

Ezekiel 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. 36:27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

Beloved brethren, I am sure you have been sanctified.

Just in case you are not. Then, you must become new creature

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

And be walking in the newness of life.

Romans 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

And be desirous of the nature and likeness of Christ.

1 Peter 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

Luke 6:40
The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.

2 Corinthians 3:18
But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

This way , you become like Adam and Eve in their previous creation with the image of God. See it yourself.
