Acts 27:18-25 And we being exceedingly tossed with a tempest, the next day they lightened the ship; And the third day we cast out with our own hands the tackling of the ship. And when neither sun nor stars in many days appeared, and no small tempest lay on us, all hope that we should be saved was then taken away. But after long abstinence Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss. And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man’s life among you, but of the ship. For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve, Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee. Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.
Beloved, it is time for you to discover from scriptures, God’s unchanging resolve to comfort His people. Glory to God, you are one of them. God your Father in deed is a reliable comforter to His saints of old and He has not changed. The comfort and consolation they received are extended to you too. So take advantage of them.
Isaiah 51:12: I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass;
Psalms 32:7: Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
Beloved see some of His inexhaustible comfort and consolation for His saints of all ages and that includes you.
Isaiah 40:1-2. Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the Lord’s hand double for all her sins.
Isaiah 49:10: They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for he that hath mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall he guide them.
Isaiah 49:13 -16. Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted. But Zion said, The LORD hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me. Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.
Isaiah 51:3. For the Lord shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the Lord; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.
Isaiah 52:9: ¶Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem: for the LORD hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem.
Isaiah 57:15 -19 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always wroth: for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls which I have made. For the iniquity of his covetousness was I wroth, and smote him: I hid me, and was wroth, and he went on frowardly in the way of his heart. I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners.nI create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the LORD; and I will heal him.
Isaiah 66:12 -13. For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees. As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.
Jeremiah 31:10 -14 ¶Hear the word of the LORD, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd doth his flock. For the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he. Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the LORD, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all. Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow. And I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, saith the LORD.
Zephaniah 3:14 -17. ¶Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem. The LORD hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the king of Israel, even the LORD, is in the midst of thee: thou shalt not see evil any more. In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear thou not: and to Zion, Let not thine hands be slack. The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.
It is very interesting, however, that in the same way God, your loving Father has been comforting and consoling you, so He gave commandments, that you also should comfort and console others in their difficulties. This shall encourage them to confidently look up to Him for unfailing help. May the good Lord help you to do this for the furtherance of Christ’s Kingdom in Jesus name.
Isaiah 3:10: Say ye to the righteous, that it shall bewell with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.
Isaiah 35:3 -4. Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees. Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come withvengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.
Isaiah 52:1-2. Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean. Shake thyself from the dust; arise, andsit down, O Jerusalem: loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion.
Dearly beloved, our Lord Jesus Christ, during His earthly ministry was an exceptional comforter to His people.
John 14:18. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
John 14:27: Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
John 16:33: These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Hebrews 2:18: For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.
Knowing fully that His followers of all ages and you in particular shall be faced with challenges, by the adversaries of their souls, He promised to send them a comforter like Himself to them.
John 14:16: And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
John 14:26: But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
This Comforter in the person of the blessed Holy Spirit is to provide believers of all ages and you in particular comfort and consolation at all times, for they and you to provide others in difficulties with same. Remember this don’t ever forget, you are the mouth piece of the Lord to comfort and console everyone in your world of influence, to help them overcome their challenges. Commit yourself to doing this determinedly till Jesus comes.
BIBLE DAYS BELIEVERS EXEMPLIFIED THEMSELVES IN FULFILLING THIS UNIQUE MINISTRY, ENABLED BY THE BLESSED HOLY SPIRIT.
THIS WAS WHAT APOSTLE PAUL WAS DOING. HE FOUND HIMSELF IN INTIMIDATING LIFE THREATENING STORM FOR FOURTEEN DAYS CONSECUTIVELY. THERE WERE TWO HUNDRED AND SEVENTY SIX PEOPLE IN THE SHIP, WHO HAVE LOST HOPE COMPLETELY.
INSTEAD OF CASTING DOWN HIS SOUL IN RESIGNATION TO DEATH, LIKE THEM. HE COMFORTED AND CONSOLED THEM. SEE IT.
Acts 27:18-25. And we being exceedingly tossed with a tempest, the next day they lightened the ship; And the third day we cast out with our own hands the tackling of the ship.
Acts 27:33-38. And while the day was coming on, Paul besought them all to take meat, saying, This day is the fourteenth day that ye have tarried and continued fasting, having taken nothing. Wherefore I pray you to take some meat: for this is for your health: for there shall not an hair fall from the head of any of you. And when he had thus spoken, he took bread, and gave thanks to God in presence of them all: and when he had broken it, he began to eat. Then were they all of good cheer, and they also took some meat. And we were in all in the ship two hundred threescore and sixteen souls. And when they had eaten enough, they lightened the ship, and cast out the wheat into the sea.
Dearly beloved , the gift of the Holy Spirit was given to you in particular to fulfil this ministry. You are not expected to cast down your soul at anytime because of challenges in your life. Even though, you might be going through very tough or intimidating challenges in your life, the blessed Holy Spirit expects you to put your challenges aside and be comforting and consoling others in your world of influence, going through difficulties. This will help them to look up to God for succour and not commit suicide.
Hebrews 6:17 -18. Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:

2Co 1:4. Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
2Co 7:6 — 2Co 7:7. Nevertheless God, that comforteth those that are cast down, comforted us by the coming of Titus; And not by his coming only, but by the consolation wherewith he was comforted in you, when he told us your earnest desire, your mourning, your fervent mind toward me; so that I rejoiced the more.
2Th 2:16 — 2Th 2:17. Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.
emember, whatever you yourself might be going through, you shall surely be victorious and more than conquerors in Jesus name.
Romans 8:35-39. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
The reason for this assurance is simple. Because Jesus lives, you also shall live in Jesus name.
John 14:19. Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
Revelation 1:17-18. And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
PROVIDING OTHERS WITH COMFORT AND CONSOLATION, DESPITE YOUR OWN INTIMIDATING CHALLENGES, THROUGH THE PROMISED GIFT OF HOLY SPIRIT FROM JESUS CHRIST, TO BELIEVERS OF ALL AGES AND YOU. CHAPTER TWENTY SEVEN OF ACTS.
Friend, by the reason of what our Lord Jesus Christ had said, concerning the signs of His coming. All that He said had been fulfilled. So as you are determined to be one of the partakers of the dawning rapture, do not hesitate to continue with your earnest preparations, till our Lord comes. His grace shall be sufficient for you in Jesus name.
Luke 21:25-28. And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
The blessed Holy Spirit, the Comforter Himself, provides believers of all ages and you, with watchful comforting warnings to help you prepare adequately. See some of them and acquaint your life to align with them.
1. Watch and pray.
Luke 21:34-36. And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
2. The message of dawning rapture is real and certain.
1 Thessalonians 4:15-18. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
3, avoid spiritual sleep for the enemy not to attack you unawares.
Matthew 13:24-25. Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
1 Thessalonians 5:4-11. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
4. Be exhorting others to be prepared also.
1 Thessalonians 5:14: Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.
Hebrews 10:24 -25. And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
May the Lord help you to be wise unto salvation in Jesus name.
