The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out. – Leviticus 6:13

Beloved, the worldlings have a parlance that they believed in so much.
In their school of thoughts they believed and relied heavily in mentoring for self actualisation.
You are going to discover that this was actually borrowed from the Bible.
God our loving Father in heaven, has unchanging passion to see His children, especially you to be successful and prosper.
You shall be successful and prosper, because that is God’s will for you, don’t ever forget.

Psalms 35:27 Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.

Because of this, He gave them and you in particular, two things that shall guarantee their earthly fulfilment and blissful eternity..
These shall surely be your portion in Jesus name.
One, He gave you the book of wisdom , the Bible to be your compass. Take advantage of it.

Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Two, He gave you Jesus, your Lord and your compassionate and faithful friend, to be your mentor.
Jesus during His earthly ministry, left a faultless legacy, as a role model for you in particular to attain both earthly and eternal fulfilments.
You shall accomplish these in Jesus name. See these.

John 17:19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

1 Peter 2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

It is for this reason that Jesus gave a Clarion call to all believers, most especially you to learn of Him as your mentor of highest reputation for your earthly and eternal well-being.

Mat 11:28 — Mat 11:29 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

Beloved, you should have no iota of doubt that Jesus Christ your Lord was a faultless mentor of highest reputation.
He did all that He taught.

Acts 1:1 The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,

Jesus taught believers and you in particular that prayer for you is not an option but compulsion. See it.

Matthew 6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

The word says when thou prayest, not if thou prayest. See another one.
Luke 18:1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
You are not supposed to be complaining, murmuring, backsliding, but praying.
When you prayed and you have not received answer to your prayers, pray again.
This exactly was the lifestyle of our Lord, during His earthly ministry.
See ,He began His earthly ministry with prayer.

Luke 3:21 Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened,

He ended His earthly ministry praying.

Luke 22:44 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground

Now see in between His earthly ministry. He lived and prevailed through praying.

Mark 1:35 And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.

Matthew 14:23 And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.

Luk 6:12 And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.

Luke 22:41 And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down, and prayed,

Heb 5:7 — Heb 5:8 Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;

Beloved, because you also shall prevail on this side of heaven, follow the exemplary lifestyle of your faultless heaven given mentor.

See this one important exhortation of the blessed Holy Spirit for you in particular.
It does not matter the model or newness of a motor vehicle, once it is empty of fuel. It will stop working.
So for you not to fail and you shall not fail.
For the devil not to overcome you and you shall be more than conqueror. See what the blessed Holy Spirit says to you in particular.

Leviticus 6:13 The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.

This means you should not quench the fire of prevailing prayers in your life.
The moment any believer stop praying, he or she has opened the door of defeat and failure.
None of these shall be your portion in Jesus name, so pray and keep praying. See what the scriptures says.

1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing.

Ephesians 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Col 1:3 We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,

Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Beloved, see the testimonies of Bible days saints and believers.

They were equally confronted with challenges just like you, but they prevailed via prayers.
No doubt you also might be going through what the Bible reveals as common temptation.

1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

You shall prevail in Jesus name, just like these brethren.
1 The apostles.

Act 1:13 — Act 1:14 And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James. These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.

Act 4:23 — Act 4:31 And being let go, they went to their own company, and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said unto them. And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is: Who by the mouth of thy servant David hast said, Why did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things? The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ. For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together, For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done. And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus. And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

2. Isaac

Gen 25:20 — Gen 25:21 And Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah to wife, the daughter of Bethuel the Syrian of Padanaram, the sister to Laban the Syrian. And Isaac intreated the Lord for his wife, because she was barren: and the Lord was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.

3. Jabez

1Ch 4:9 — 1Ch 4:10 And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow. And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

4. Hannah

1Sa 1:9 — 1Sa 1:11 So Hannah rose up after they had eaten in Shiloh, and after they had drunk. Now Eli the priest sat upon a seat by a post of the temple of the Lord. And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the Lord, and wept sore. And she vowed a vow, and said, O Lord of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the Lord all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.

1 Samuel 1:27 For this child I prayed; and the Lord hath given me my petition which I asked of him:

5. Moses.

Exo 15:23 — Exo 15:25 And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah. And the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink? And he cried unto the Lord; and the Lord shewed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet: there he made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there he proved them,

6. King Hezekiah.

2Ki 20:1 — 2Ki 20:6 In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live. Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the Lord, saying, I beseech thee, O Lord, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore. And it came to pass, afore Isaiah was gone out into the middle court, that the word of the Lord came to him, saying, Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the Lord. And I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake.

7,. The malefactor crucified with Jesus.

Luk 23:39 — Luk 23:43 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.

8. Yourself. Please send me your testimony. I want to rejoice with you.

Jam 5:16 — Jam 5:18 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.

Beloved , there is a proviso . A condition for prevailing prayers.

A SINNING MAN DOES NOT PRAY.
A PRAYING MAN DOES NOT SIN.
Sin hinders prayers.
A sinful lifestyle is the reason why many who profess religion can not pray. This is because they know their prayers will not be answered.
But yours shall be answered because I am persuaded you are free from sin.
But then if you are not. Why don’t you repent and Begin to pray for you to prevail and you shall prevail in Jesus name.
See the following unfailing and unchanging truths about answered and unanswered prayers.
1. Unanswered prayers.

Zechariah 7:13 Therefore it is come to pass, that as he cried, and they would not hear;

so they cried, and I would not hear, saith the Lord of hosts:

Isa 59:1 — Isa 59:2 Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

John 9:31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.

Psalms 66:18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:

Answered prayers.

1 John 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

1Jo 5:14 — 1Jo 5:15 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

John 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Beloved, if you will be part of the dawning rapture and you shall be part in Jesus name. But you must pray.

The devil is going to challenge you, it is through prevailing prayers that you overcome and you shall overcome in Jesus name. So pray.

1 Peter 4:7 But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.

Luk 21:34 — Luk 21:36 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Beloved, until you meet Jesus in the air and go with Him to heaven forever. This must be your guiding principle.
