Beloved, the Bible says all the things written in the scriptures are for our admonition.

Romans 15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

1 Corinthians 10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

The Amalekites sinned against God, by attacking porous Israel, when they left Egypt, during the days of Moses the servant of the Lord.

Exo 17:8 — Exo 17:9 Then came Amalek, and fought with Israel in Rephidim. And Moses said unto Joshua, Choose us out men, and go out, fight with Amalek: to morrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in mine hand.

God instructed Moses to document it, that He was going to punish them for their cruel attack against His people.

Exo 17:14 — Exo 17:16 And the LORD said unto Moses, Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: for I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven. And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it Jehovahnissi: For he said, Because the LORD hath sworn that the LORD will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.

During the tenure of King Saul, he was commanded by God to wipe out every Amalikite without sparing anyone.

1Sa 15:1 — 1Sa 15:3 Samuel also said unto Saul, The LORD sent me to anoint thee to be king over his people, over Israel: now therefore hearken thou unto the voice of the words of the LORD. Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt. Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.

But then king Saul partially obeyed God and spared Agag their king, who was latter killed by Samuel.

1Sa 15:20 — 1Sa 15:24 And Saul said unto Samuel, Yea, I have obeyed the voice of the LORD, and have gone the way which the LORD sent me, and have brought Agag the king of Amalek, and have utterly destroyed the Amalekites. But the people took of the spoil, sheep and oxen, the chief of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice unto the LORD thy God in Gilgal. And Samuel said,
Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king. And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD, and thy words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice.

1Sa 15:32 — 1Sa 15:33 Then said Samuel, Bring ye hither to me Agag the king of the Amalekites. And Agag came unto him delicately. And Agag said, Surely the bitterness of death is past. And Samuel said, As thy sword hath made women childless, so shall thy mother be childless among women. And Samuel hewed Agag in pieces before the LORD in Gilgal.

God punished king Saul for his disobedience, He replaced him with king David.

1 Samuel 16:1 And the LORD said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons.

Very very unfortunate, apart from king Agag that Saul did not kill, some of his descendants also escaped to another nation.

One of this great grand descendant was next to King Ahaseruis, who had taken the Jews, captive because of their sins.

This Haman, the descendant of Agag, the king of the Amalikites
was pregnant with vengeance and determined to totally exterminate the Jews , during the days of Mordecai and Queen Esther.

Est 3:8 — Est 3:10 And Haman said unto king Ahasuerus, There is a certain people scattered abroad and dispersed among the people in all the provinces of thy kingdom; and their laws are diverse from all people; neither keep they the king’s laws: therefore it is not for the king’s profit to suffer them. If it please the king, let it be written that they may be destroyed: and I will pay ten thousand talents of silver to the hands of those that have the charge of the business, to bring it into the king’s treasuries. And the king took his ring from his hand, and gave it unto Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, the Jews’ enemy.

Est 3:12 — Est 3:13 Then were the king’s scribes called on the thirteenth day of the first month, and there was written according to all that Haman had commanded unto the king’s lieutenants, and to the governors that were over every province, and to the rulers of every people of every province according to the writing thereof, and to every people after their language; in the name of king Ahasuerus was it written, and sealed with the king’s ring. And the letters were sent by posts into all the king’s provinces, to destroy, to kill, and to cause to perish, all Jews, both young and old, little children and women, in one day, even upon the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, which is the month Adar, and to take the spoil of them for a prey.

Brethren, please learn an unforgettable lessons from this scenario.

The partial obedience or outright disobedience of today on the part of anyone inside or outside the church, might have far reaching consequences and can impart negatively on generations unborn.

The little foxes or beseting sins anyone failed to address today might ruined the person latter here and hereafter.

SS 2:15 Take us the foxes,the little foxes, that spoil the vines:for our vines have tender grapes.

Apostle Judas’s destruction, started with little, little stealing from the bag, before degenerating into big time greed and covetousness.

Jn 12:4 — Jn 12:6 Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, which should betray him, Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor? This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein.

Brethren, the little sin anyone is still pampering now, can degenerate into big time sin and become defilement , in their garment of righteousness and hindered them entrance to heaven. This shall not be your portion in Jesus name.

1Co 5:6 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?

Galatians 5:9 A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.

Revelation 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

Brethren, are you really free from sins? Address every forms of sin, to avoid what happened to the Jews, because of partial obedience of king Saul. The good Lord shall help you in particular in Jesus name.
