The Bible speaks of the Day of the Lord as a time of great upheaval and also of hope. This day actually symbolizes a period of time beginning with great trouble for mankind and extending into an eternity of peace.
Zephaniah 1:14-15. The great day of the Lord is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the Lord: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly. That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness.
Beloved, the unregenerate from time immemorial, till now and unfortunately till the end of time have one characteristic. They are always nonchalant to the passionate warning and pleas from the Lord God Almighty. But then, He has innumerable unchanging decrees that shall subsist till the end of time. See them.
Psalms 9:17. The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.
Isaiah 3:11. Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him.
Ezekiel 18:4. Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.
The reason why these unregenerate people. are always nonchalant is very simple. They are always taking for granted the magnanimity of the Lord, who does not judge them, immediately they commit wicked practices.
Ecclesiastes 8:11-13. Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. Though a sinner do evil an hundred times, and his days be prolonged, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear God, which fear before him: But it shall not be well with the wicked, neither shall he prolong his days, which are as a shadow; because he feareth not before God.
Romans 2:4-6. Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
Painfully, however nemesis always catch up with them eventually. Beloved, you must never ever be like these group of people. Because you are not going to be like them, you must attach so much importance to what the scriptures says about the end of time and reality of the looming great tribulation.
God, your loving Father gave Zephaniah prophecies, concerning the certainty and reality of the great tribulation. A period of indescribable pains awaiting impudent, impenitent and contemptuous people globally.
Too bad, they despised the warning of Noah for one hundred and twenty years and were drowned in the flood. So shall it be this time also, when suddenly the dawning rapture shall takes place and the long awaited righteous judgement of God is unleashed.
You shall not be part of it in Jesus name. So attach importance to the warning of the Lord, through Zephaniah. See it.

Beloved, this same warning had been prophesied by several other prophets. See them.
Isaiah 13:6 -9. ¶Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty. Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man’s heart shall melt And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames. Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.
Jeremiah 30:6-7. Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness? Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.
Ezekiel 30:3: For the day is near, even the day of the LORD is near, a cloudy day; it shall be the time of the heathen.
Joel 2:1-2. Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the Lord cometh, for it is nigh at hand; A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.
Joel 2:31: The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.
Amos 5:18 -20. Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORDis darkness, and not light. As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him.Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?
Acts 2:20: The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:
Jude 1:6: And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
Revelation 6:17: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
Beloved, having seen these warnings severally repleted in the scriptures, be wise and prepare. Do not be caught unaware again. Do everything that will make you rapture ready. May the good Lord help you to be wise unto salvation in Jesus name.
Proverbs 19:20. Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end.
Dearly beloved, if the whole wide world shall doubt your Lord, you should never ever doubt Him. He is the truth personified. He knows the truth, through and through.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Besides this, He has been from everlasting. He is well acquainted with the time table of God, His Father and your Father.
Micah 5:2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.
Most importantly, He died for you on the cross, you are very important to Him and He is concerned about your eternal wellbeing. So He passionately and persistently warns all believers of all ages, especially you, that, the great tribulation is real and certain and looming. See what He said about it.
Matthew 24:21-22. For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.
Mark 13:19-23. For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be. And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect’s sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days. And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not: For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.
Luke 19:43-44 For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side,And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.
Luke 21:24: And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
Dearly beloved, what are you going to do with this timely warning of your loving Lord? No doubt, you are going to behave like the wise Virgins and be prepared for the dawning rapture, that shall succeed the great tribulation. I am persuaded about you. Do everything possible and avert this looming global indescribable pains, that shall begin, immediately after the rapture. The good Lord shall help you in Jesus name.
JESUS’S PASSIONATE PLEA TO BELIEVERS OF ALL AGES AND YOU IN PARTICULAR, TO AVERT THE LOOMING GREAT TRIBULATION. HEED HIS WARNING.
Friend, the Bible certainly reveals that, after the rapture, some unprepared believers shall survive the gruesome challenges during the great tribulation. See it.
Revelation 7:9-17. After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen. And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
What this then, implies, is the fact, that great tribulation is real and certain. But then, the fact remains that, surviving the great tribulation should not be an option for you. How do you know, you shall be able to endure the indescribable punishment of the antichrist.
Anyone that missed the rapture shall now pay with His blood. May you never witness it in Jesus name.
The Bible reveals why the Worldling and nominal churchgoers shall certainly be part of the gruesome great tribulation. See them. You must determinedly avoid it.
1. They call Jesus Lord, but never thoroughly obeyed Him.
Matthew 7:21-23. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
2. They failed to adequately prepare for the rapture.
Matthew 25:1-3. Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
Matthew 25:9-12. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
3. They backslide, compromise and sin wilfully.
Hebrews 10:26 -29 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
Friend, it is dangerous to be presumptuous. Examine yourself with the help of the blessed Holy Spirit and be sure, you are not caught in these webs.
2 Corinthians 13:5. Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
The believers like you that shall avert the great tribulation according to Jesus our Lord shall :
1. They are always obedient to the entirety of the scriptures.
Revelation 3:10-11. Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
2. They always give priority to eternal things in their day to day decisions.
Colossians 3:1-4. If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
3. They continually take advantage of the ever available Crimson blood to cleanse themselves and be ready.
1 John 3:1-3. Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
4. They determinedly paid the price of earning the prize of the coveted crown at eternity.
2 Timothy 4:7-8. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
God’s grace shall help you to do all these in Jesus name.
