And the Philistines took the ark of God, and brought it from Ebenezer unto Ashdod. When the Philistines took the ark of God, they brought it into the house of Dagon, and set it by Dagon. And when they of Ashdod arose early on the morrow, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the earth before the ark of the Lord. And they took Dagon, and set him in his place again. And when they arose early on the morrow morning, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the ground before the ark of the Lord; and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his hands were cut off upon the threshold; only the stump of Dagon was left to him. Therefore neither the priests of Dagon, nor any that come into Dagon’s house, tread on the threshold of Dagon in Ashdod unto this day. – 1 Samuel 5:1-5

Beloved again remember all the books of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation are testimonies of our Lord Jesus Christ.

John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

So therefore the first and second books of Samuel revealed the complete and total supremacy of our Lord over the subtle, deceptive and cruel Satan.

He determinedly has three formidable destructive ministries which our Lord had already thwarted.

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

The revelation of our Lord in the book of Samuel, should always bring joy and happiness to believers of all ages and you in particular, that on the account of the glorious successfully completed vicarious sacrifice of Christ on the cross, satan and his cohorts are forever subdued on your behalf.

Luk 10:18 — Luk 10:19 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Romans 16:20 And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Col 2:14 — Col 2:15 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

Beloved, the first and second books of Samuel revealed our Lord, as :

THE ETERNAL ARK OF THE LIVING GOD, BEFORE WHOM EVERY SATANIC DAGON SHALL ALWAYS FALL AND BE DESTROYED.

1Sa 5:1 — 1Sa 5:5 And the Philistines took the ark of God, and brought it from Ebenezer unto Ashdod. When the Philistines took the ark of God, they brought it into the house of Dagon, and set it by Dagon. And when they of Ashdod arose early on the morrow, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the earth before the ark of the Lord. And they took Dagon, and set him in his place again. See the confirmation in the new testament as the exalted name of our Lord Jesus Christ, before whom every knee shall now in heaven, on earth and then under the earth.

Phi 2:9 — Phi 2:11 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Beloved this glorious name is a potent weapon at the disposal of all believers of all ages and you in particular.

2Co 10:3 — 2Co 10:6 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

Mark 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

Luke 10:17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.

Beloved, there is a proviso before every believer and that includes you, can take advantage of this glorious exalted name.

Such a believer must have been fully set free from both outward and inward sins, which are the potent weapons in the hands of the devil and his cohorts to ensnare anyone and everyone inside or outside the church.

1 John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil
