I have kept thy precepts and thy testimonies: for all my ways are before thee. – Psalms 119:168

Dearly beloved brethren, you shall experience peace and rest in time and eternity, here and hereafter in Jesus name.

Psalms 37:37 Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.
Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

Because this is going to be so, give God opportunity to teach you the way of peace and rest.

Psalms 32:8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
Isaiah 48:17 Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go. 48:18 O that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments! then had thy peace been as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea:
I have kept thy precepts and thy testimonies: for all my ways are before thee. – Psalms 119:168

The reason for this is because, the way you choose without a recourse to God, most times are way to destruction and snares of the devil.

Pro 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man,but the end thereof are the ways of death.
Proverbs 16:25 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

When you humbly opted for God’s pathway and follow it wholeheartedly, it might be difficult and challenging, but it will surely end up in life eternal.

Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

The reason why God has chosen that way for you is to refine you and make you more like Him and be fulfilled here and hereafter.

Job 23:10 But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.
I have kept thy precepts and thy testimonies: for all my ways are before thee. – Psalms 119:168

And when you joyfully follow God’s way, even your adversaries shall be at peace with you.

Pro 16:7 When a man’s ways please the Lord,he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.

It was for this reason that David made his ways plain, before God, to help him not to stumble. See it.

I have kept thy precepts and thy testimonies: for all my ways are before thee. – Psalms 119:168

Beloved to help you too not to stumble into the snares of satan, make God’s way, your choice way.

Luke 1:79 To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.

May the good Lord help you to walk in this way till Christ comes in Jesus name.

I have kept thy precepts and thy testimonies: for all my ways are before thee. – Psalms 119:168

My soul hath kept [ observed and obeyed ] thy testimonies; and I love them [ your testimonies ] exceedingly. – Psalms 119:167

My soul hath kept thy testimonies; and I love them exceedingly. – Psalms 119:167

Dearly beloved brethren, it is very important for you to know that, we are not Christians, because we are attending gospel churches , paying tithes, sowing seed, singing in the choir or members of prayer warriors or Ushers in the church.

The only thing that makes you in particular a child of God is that, you are keeping and doing the word of God. Don’t ever forget.

See what Jesus said about doing and keeping the word of God.

Luk 11:28 But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.
Luke 6:47 Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: 6:48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.
Matthew 12:48 But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren? 12:49 And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! 12:50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
Luke 8:21 And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it.
John 13:17 If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.
Psalms 112:1 Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.
Psalms 128:1 Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways.
My soul hath kept thy testimonies; and I love them exceedingly. – Psalms 119:167

Let this never be forgotten by you, keeping and doing God’s word makes you in particular, a very wise person.

Matthew. 7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 7:25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.,

Beloved, it is not keeping and doing the word of God, that shall shut out multitude of people from both inside and outside of the church, out of heaven.

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

In the same token, it is keeping and doing the word of God, that shall open the door of heaven for Bible believing believers like you.

Revelation 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Pause here and sincerely examine yourself, are you keeping and doing the word of God or you are holding unto other things, you are doing for God? The Bible says, such things are cistern that shall fail.

Jer 2:13 For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.
My soul hath kept thy testimonies; and I love them exceedingly. – Psalms 119:167

Remember, only those who are keeping and doing the word of God are His children.

Exo 24:7 And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the Lord hath said will we do, and be obedient.

No wonder, David loved God’s word and was keeping them determinedly. See it.

My soul hath kept thy testimonies; and I love them exceedingly. – Psalms 119:167

Like David, begin to love God’s word and be keeping and doing them and God shall bless you here and you will also live with Him in eternity in Jesus name.

Revelation 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
My soul hath kept thy testimonies; and I love them exceedingly. – Psalms 119:167

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | April 7 2021 | LESSONS FROM PSALMS | LORD, I have hoped for thy salvation

LORD, I have hoped and waited for thy salvation [ I long for your rescue ], and done thy commandments. - Psalms 119:166

LORD, I have hoped for thy salvation, and done thy commandments. – Psalms 119:166

Dearly beloved brethren, if there is any word, everyone in the church world globally are familiar with, it is the word salvation.

However, if there is any experience, majority of churchgoers all over the world are lacking, it is biblical salvation.

Pause and don’t be offended as the blessed Holy Spirit is asking you, are you biblically born again?

What does it mean to be biblically born again? It means you are free from everything the Bible says it is sin.

Matthew 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins

Jesus’s primary ministry, is to save everyone professing religion from all sins.

LORD, I have hoped for thy salvation, and done thy commandments. – Psalms 119:166

It is only through Jesus’s vicarious sacrifice that, this experience can be attained.

Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

God has done everything to place salvation at the disposal of every one.

Tit 2:11 — Tit 2:12 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

You experience biblical salvation, when you are sincerely sorrowful, because of your sin.

2Co 7:10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

Then you repent immediately, because you might not have opportunity for it again.

2Co 6:2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

Once you have confessed your sins and embrace the finished work of Christ on the cross, you are biblically saved.

Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
LORD, I have hoped for thy salvation, and done thy commandments. – Psalms 119:166

You then follow up your biblical salvation with restitution.

Luk 19:8 — Luk 19:9 And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold. 9 And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham.

It is when you joined your biblical salvation with restitution, that you will be able to partake in the dawning rapture and avert wrath of God, during the great tribulation.

1Th 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

This biblical salvation joined with restitution, is very important that, the scriptures, warns, that, it is the only way to escape damnation.

Heb 2:3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
LORD, I have hoped for thy salvation, and done thy commandments. – Psalms 119:166

This biblical salvation is the essence of the gospel.

Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

This biblical salvation is not altogether unknown, even in the old testament.

The only difference is that, they were redeemed with the blood of animals, while. believers in the new treatment are redeemed with the blood of Jesus.

David knew the importance of salvation and obedience to the entirety of God’s words, if his eternal well-being shall be secured. So, he whole-heartedly embraced salvation. See it.

LORD, I have hoped for thy salvation, and done thy commandments. – Psalms 119:166

Beloved, if David embraced biblical salvation, you must do same.

May the good Lord help you to be wise unto salvation in Jesus name.

2Ti 3:15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
LORD, I have hoped for thy salvation, and done thy commandments. – Psalms 119:166

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | April 6 2021 | LESSONS FROM PSALMS | Great peace have they which love thy law

Great peace have they which love thy law and instruction: and nothing shall offend them [ no occasion of stumbling ] . - Psalms 119:165
Great peace have they which love thy law and instruction: and nothing shall offend them [ no occasion of stumbling ] . - Psalms 119:165

Great peace have they which love thy law and instruction: and nothing shall offend them [ no occasion of stumbling ] . – Psalms 119:165

Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them. – Psalms 119:165

Dearly beloved brethren, our Lord through His teachings and lifestyle, taught all His faithful followers, including you to do, everything to avoid offenses.

Mat 17:27 Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.

The reason why you should avoid offenses, is because of His implications and consequences. See the following scriptures.

1. Implication of offenses.

Mat 18:6 whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

Offenses could mislead young converts and those believers that are not grounded in God’s words.

2. Consequence of offenses.

Anyone who cause the offense are cursed according to the scriptures.

Mat 18:7. Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!
Luk 17:1 — Luk 17:2 Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come! 2 It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.
Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them. – Psalms 119:165

The blessed Holy Spirit further exhorted, that believers should avoid offenses. See the following scriptures.

1Co 10:32 Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:
2Co 6:3 Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed:

The only way Bible believing believes can avoid offenses, is their great love for the unfailing, unchanging, eternal words of God and their addictions to be obedient to doing what it says.

Such believers who are living lifestyle of obedience to God’s words will find it easy never to be offended by anything and everything others are doing.

This was seeing in the life of our Lord, after all that were done against Him, He. Prayed for His persecutors.

Luke 23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

Stephen did, the same thing, as he was been stoned.

Acts 7:59 And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. 7:60 And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

Abraham did the same thing. He was not offended by the attitude of Lot.

Gen 13:7 — Gen 13:12 And there was a strife between the herdmen of Abram’s cattle and the herdmen of Lot’s cattle: and the Canaanite and the Perizzite dwelled then in the land. 8 And Abram said unto Lot, Let there be no strife, I pray thee, between me and thee, and between my herdmen and thy herdmen; for we be brethren. 9 Is not the whole land before thee? separate thyself, I pray thee, from me: if thou wilt take the left hand, then I will go to the right; or if thou depart to the right hand, then I will go to the left. 10 And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered every where, before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, even as the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt, as thou comest unto Zoar. 11 Then Lot chose him all the plain of Jordan; and Lot journeyed east: and they separated themselves the one from the other. 12 Abram dwelled in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelled in the cities of the plain, and pitched his tent toward Sodom.

David did the same thing, He was not offended by cruelty of his persecutors.

Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them. – Psalms 119:165

You also must be doing the same thing till Jesus comes and God shall make your adversaries to be at peace with you in Jesus mighty name.

Pro 16:7 When a man’s ways please the Lord,he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.

Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments. – Psalms 119:164

Dearly beloved brethren, one very important word, you in particular should give attention to in the Bible, is the exhortation to be thankful in all situations. See this.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
Col 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
Psalms 100:4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

Glory and honour to God our loving Father, because Jesus Christ our Lord and Master, excelled all men in thanking God in all things and situations. See some of them.

1. He thanked God for unfolding the revelation of scriptures to faithful believers.

Luk 10:21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.

Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments. – Psalms 119:164

2. When He prayed for Lazarus, when He raised him from the dead.

John 11:41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.

3. When He prayed for multiplication of bread.

Mar 8:1 — Mar 8:6 In those days the multitude being very great, and having nothing to eat, Jesus called his disciples unto him, and saith unto them, 2 I have compassion on the multitude, because they have now been with me three days, and have nothing to eat: 3 And if I send them away fasting to their own houses, they will faint by the way: for divers of them came from far. 4 And his disciples answered him, From whence can a man satisfy these men with bread here in the wilderness? 5 And he asked them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven. 6 And he commanded the people to sit down on the ground: and he took the seven loaves, and gave thanks, and brake, and gave to his disciples to set before them; and they did set them before the people.

4. At the last supper with His disciples, before He went to Gethsemane.

Mat 26:29 — Mat 26:30 But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom. 30 And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.

He then taught all Bible believing believers of all ages and that includes you, to begin your prayers and end your prayers, thanking God.

Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments. – Psalms 119:164
Matthew 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 6:11 Give us this day our daily bread. 6:12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

David had unusual understanding of the benefits of praising God at all times and in all things.

He committed himself to doing it and it profited him exceedingly. See the following scriptures.

Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments. – Psalms 119:164
Psalms 34:1 I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. 34:2 My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. 34:3 O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.
Psalms 92:1 It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: 92:2 To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night, 92:3 Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound. 92:4 For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.
Psalms 100:4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. 100:5 For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
Psalms 103:1 Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. 103:2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

Beloved brethren, like our Lord Jesus Christ and David did, you too ,commit yourself henceforth to be thankful in all things and at all times. Then God’s blessings shall be yours in Jesus name.

Eph 5:20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
Col 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

I hate and abhor lying [ falsehood ]: but thy law do I love. – Psalms 119:163

Beloved brethren always remember, God does not tolerate sin in anyone

Habakkuk 1:13 Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity: wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, and holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous than he?

In the same token Jesus Christ our Lord does not tolerate sin either.

John 8:11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
John 5:14 Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.
I hate and abhor lying [ falsehood ]: but thy law do I love. – Psalms 119:163

The blessed Holy Spirit doesn’t not tolerate sin in any one. That was why, He exhorted saints from old and new testaments.

Ezekiel 18:4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.
Ezekiel 18:30 Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
1 John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
I hate and abhor lying [ falsehood ]: but thy law do I love. – Psalms 119:163

It was the full understanding of David on God’s stance on sin, that made him to abhor sin. See this.

I hate and abhor lying [ falsehood ]: but thy law do I love. – Psalms 119:163

Beloved brethren, you must emulate David and abhor sin too in all its ramifications.

1 John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

Receive grace to be doing so and continue till Christ comes.

I rejoice at thy word [ concerning Thy saying, commandments ] , as one that findeth great [abundant ] spoil. - Psalms 119:162

I rejoice at thy word [ concerning Thy saying, commandments ] , as one that findeth great [abundant ] spoil. – Psalms 119:162

I rejoice at thy word [concerning Thy saying ] , as one that findeth great [abundant ] spoil. – Psalms 119:162

Dearly beloved brethren, I pray that God’s eternal unchanging unfailing words, will be effective and effectual in your life in Jesus name.

But then, this shall be so, when you esteemed the word of God above anything and everything.

God’s words should bring so much joy and rejoicing to you as it happened to David and Jeremiah.

David.

I rejoice at thy word [concerning Thy saying ] , as one that findeth great [abundant ] spoil. – Psalms 119:162

Jeremiah.

Jeremiah 15:16 Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.

It was for this cause that made saints of old to place high premium and great esteem on God’s unfailing unchanging eternal words.

Job 23:12 Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.

The saints of old discovered some things about God’s unfailing unchanging eternal words, that made them to always esteem God’s words. Some of these are:

1. God’s words gave them great hope in God.

Psalms 119:49 Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.
1 Peter 1:21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

2. God’s word is very productive, it will accomplish what it says.

Luke 1:45 And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.
I rejoice at thy word [concerning Thy saying ] , as one that findeth great [abundant ] spoil. – Psalms 119:162

3. God’s words cannot fail.

Isaiah 34:16 Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them.

Beloved brethren, you also should have unashamed confidence in God’s unfailing words, it will accomplish your desires more than your greatest expectations in Jesus name

Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Beloved, be assured, God’s word will accomplish what God had promised you in particular in Jesus name.

I rejoice at thy word [concerning Thy saying ] , as one that findeth great [abundant ] spoil. – Psalms 119:162

See you at the top in Jesus name

Princes have persecuted me without a cause: but my heart standeth in awe of thy word. - Psalms 119:161

Princes have persecuted me without a cause: but my heart standeth in awe of thy word. – Psalms 119:161

Princes have persecuted me without a cause: but my heart standeth in awe of thy word. – Psalms 119:161

Dearly beloved brethren, when you resolve resolutely to be obedient to the entirety of God’s unfailing and unchanging, eternal words in the Bible.

You choose a noble and rewardable course.

God will be very delighted in your life and blesses you abundantly. It shall be so in Jesus name.

1 John 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

Unfortunately, however, you are going to incur the wrath of the devil and he will engage his human and spirit agents to persecute you.

This was the lot of our Lord Jesus Christ and His followers of all ages and that includes you.

Princes have persecuted me without a cause: but my heart standeth in awe of thy word. – Psalms 119:161

So when next you find people persecuting you without a cause, don’t be surprised. See the following scriptures.

John 15:18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. 15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. 15:20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. 15:21 But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me. 15:22 If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin. 15:23 He that hateth me hateth my Father also. 15:24 If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father. 15:25 But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.
John 17:14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 17:16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
Matthew 5:10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 5:12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
2 Timothy 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
1Jo 3:13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.

David at this time resolute determined to obey the words of God and he got into troubles, from human agents of the devil. See it.

Princes have persecuted me without a cause: but my heart standeth in awe of thy word. – Psalms 119:161

Beloved brethren, like David of old you should not be moved about the persecution from people, because, you choose to obey the word of God.

He Himself shall deliver you, like He did for Joseph, David, Daniel, the three Hebrews. Peter and Paul apostles.

Psalms 34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.

But then, don’t hate your persecutors, but do what our Lord Jesus says.

Matthew 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

The good Lord shall help you in particular in Jesus name.

Princes have persecuted me without a cause: but my heart standeth in awe of thy word. – Psalms 119:161

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | April 1, 2021 | LESSONS FROM PSALMS | Thy word is true from the beginning

Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever. - Psalms 119:160

Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever. – Psalms 119:160

Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever. – Psalms 119:160

Dearly beloved brethren always remember, the unfailing, unchanging., eternal words of God in the Bible are true and lack no single error.

Over and over the Bible reveals this undeniable truth.

Psalms 12:6 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
Psalms 19:7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. 19:8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. 19:9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. 19:10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. 19:11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.
Proverbs 30:5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever. – Psalms 119:160

No wonder our Lord Jesus Christ said the truth of the word can set free.

John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

In addition, Jesus Christ our Lord Himself, is the truth personified.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Most importantly is the fact that, this word shall not pass away and abide forever.

Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
1Pe 1:24 — 1Pe 1:25 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: 25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.
Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever. – Psalms 119:160

No wonder, David had so much confidence in the word of God, because of its truthfulness without errors and because they shall abide forever. See it.

Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever. – Psalms 119:160

Beloved like David, you too must reckon with the error free and truthfulness of God’s words in their entirety and heed the exhortation of our Lord Jesus Christ, to live by them.

Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Doing this shall guarantee your earthly and eternal well-being.

So go and do likewise.

Luk 10:37 And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.
Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever. – Psalms 119:160

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | March 31, 2021 | LESSONS FROM PSALMS | Consider how I love thy precepts

Consider how I love thy precepts: quicken me, O LORD, according to thy lovingkindness and tender mercies. - Psalms 119:159

Consider how I love thy precepts: quicken me, O LORD, according to thy lovingkindness and tender mercies. - Psalms 119:159

Consider how I love thy precepts: quicken me, O LORD, according to thy lovingkindness and tender mercies. – Psalms 119:159

Consider how I love thy precepts: quicken me, O LORD, according to thy lovingkindness. – Psalms 119:159

Dearly beloved brethren, God the Father has a special and unchanging stance towards His unfailing, eternal, unchanging words in the Bible.

He magnified His words more than His name.. See this yourself.

Psalms 138:2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

The reason for this, is because His words are forever settled in heaven and shall not pass away.

Psalms 119:89 For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.
Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
Consider how I love thy precepts: quicken me, O LORD, according to thy lovingkindness. – Psalms 119:159

Beloved, because of all these, He equally expects His people of all ages and that includes you to have reverential regards for His words.

See some of the ways, He expects you to handle His words in the Bible.

1. Delight in them and regularly meditate on them.

Psalms 1:2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

2. His words must not depart from your mouth and you must be doing them.

Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

3. Be obedient unto the entirety of them.

Exodus 24:7 And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the LORD hath said will we do, and be obedient.

4. Esteem them more than silver or gold.

Job 23:12 Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.
Consider how I love thy precepts: quicken me, O LORD, according to thy lovingkindness. – Psalms 119:159

5. Use them for spiritual cleansing.

Psalms 119:9 Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.

6. Hid them in your heart to hinder you from sinning.

Psalms 119:11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

7. Live by the entirety of the word.

Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

8. Study them to help you to be effective in His service.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Consider how I love thy precepts: quicken me, O LORD, according to thy lovingkindness. – Psalms 119:159

Beloved brethren all of these attitude becomes absolutely necessary, for the following reasons.

1. You shall be wise and be perfected for doing them.

2 Timothy 3:15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
2. What you do with the entirety of the words , determined where you shall spend eternity.
Revelation 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

3. Your earnest desire to be part of the imminent rapture is hinged on what you are doing with the entirety of His words in the Bible.

Revelation 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

4. Jesus’s most important counsel for you, is to commit yourself to doing all the words He commanded His church to be taught and hold fast to the twenty two doctrines of the Bible, till He comes.

Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Revelation 2:25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.

Beloved brethren, it was the full understanding of all of the above that made David to love the word of God biblically, to enable him sustain, God’s ceaseless lovingkindness for all His saints of all ages, which includes you. See it yourself.

Consider how I love thy precepts: quicken me, O LORD, according to thy lovingkindness. – Psalms 119:159

The word of God, exhorts you to follow what is good. So follow the good example of David in loving and obeying the entirety of God’s unfailing unchanging eternal words and access and sustain His unfailing lovingkindness.

It shall surely be your portion as you too, to do in Jesus name.

3 John 1:11 Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.
Consider how I love thy precepts: quicken me, O LORD, according to thy lovingkindness. – Psalms 119:159
