Dearly beloved brethren, there is a world of difference between God’s people and the worldlings. Whatever is happening to them can not be happening to God’s own people. Praise God, you are peculiar and I celebrate you, because you belong to God.

Exo 11:7 But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the Lord doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.

Beloved, our Lord has been there for us, since the outbreak of the global devastating COVID 19 PANDEMIC. He that has been keeping us, shall continue to do so, even in the ember months of this year and beyond in Jesus name. See His unfailing and unchanging promises, for you and your family in particular in both old and new testaments. They shall be fulfilled for us all in Jesus name.

Psa 27:1 — Psa 27:3 The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
Psa 91:15 — Psa 91:16 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
Let the sighing of the prisoner come before thee; according to the greatness of thy power preserve thou those that are appointed to die – Psalms 79:11
Psa 121:4 — Psa 121:8 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in
from this time forth, and even for evermore.
Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
2Ti 4:17 — 2Ti 4:18Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion. And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Heb 13:5 — Heb 13:6 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
Let the sighing of the prisoner come before thee; according to the greatness of thy power preserve thou those that are appointed to die – Psalms 79:11
Jude 1:24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,

Dearly beloved, every handwriting of ordinances contrary to you and your family shall be blotted out with the precious blood of Jesus in Jesus name.

Psalms 79:11 Let the sighing of the prisoner come before thee; according to the greatness of thy power preserve thou those that are appointed to die
Colossians 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
Let the sighing of the prisoner come before thee; according to the greatness of thy power preserve thou those that are appointed to die – Psalms 79:11

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | March 24, 2020 – Manna from Heaven – Exodus 16:4

Manna from Heaven - Then said the Lord unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; that I may prove them - Exodus 16:4

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | March 24, 2020 | Enrich and Sustain your relationship with Jesus reading our daily devotional

Manna from Heaven – Then said the Lord unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no. – Exodus 16:4

Beloved, the Bible says my people, God’s own people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.

Hosea 4:6  My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

But then you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free and promote you.

John 8:32  And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Manna from Heaven – Then said the Lord unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; that I may prove them – Exodus 16:4
Always remember every opportunity you have to obey God’s words, is set to define you for reward or recompense.
The God of heaven is interested in proving you in particular whether you will fear Him enough and obey Him or whether your profession of having Him as your heavenly Father is empty and you will disobey Him.

Malachi 1:6  A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the Lord of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name?

Because God is interested in checking up the status of His Fatherhood over your own life in particular, He proves you to know what you will do with His words.
God will help you in particular. As others in Bible days and even our contemporary time triumphed when they were tested. So you too shall triumph in Jesus name.

Deu 8:2 — Deu 8:3  And thou shalt remember all the way which the Lord thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no. And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live.

Manna from Heaven – Then said the Lord unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; that I may prove them – Exodus 16:4
When God was set to give Israel, special bread from heaven, He did it with a test.
It was very unfortunate that Israel failed Him woefully. You shall not fall Him in Jesus name. See it.

Exodus 16:4  Then said the Lord unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no.

Exodus 16:28  And the Lord said unto Moses, How long refuse ye to keep my commandments and my laws?

Beloved, what the blessed Holy Spirit is revealing to you had been the undoing of some in the Bible  days  and they had paid dearly and even lost privileges and blessings of God.
On the other hand it had been the making of many and had brought them enviable earthly and eternal blessings too. This shall be your portion in Jesus
Remember the Bible says you should learn from things that happened to others in the time past for your edification and we’ll being.

Romans 15:4  For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

1Co 10:11 — 1Co 10:12  Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

Beloved see those that lost great privileges and blessings for failing the simple test of God, when they were proved. This shall not be your portion in Jesus name.
Manna from Heaven – Then said the Lord unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; that I may prove them – Exodus 16:4
  1. Adam and Eve.

Gen 2:16 — Gen 2:17  And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

You remember what happened. They believed the devil and disobey the simple instructions and their losses were collosal. See it.

Gen 3:23 — Gen 3:24  Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

2.  King Saul. He and His generation would have enjoyed the kingly position over Israel, but for simple disobedience, he lost it to David.
This shall not be your portion in Jesus name.

1Sa 13:9 — 1Sa 13:14  And Saul said, Bring hither a burnt offering to me, and peace offerings. And he offered the burnt offering. And it came to pass, that as soon as he had made an end of offering the burnt offering, behold, Samuel came; and Saul went out to meet him, that he might salute him.  And Samuel said, What hast thou done? And Saul said, Because I saw that the people were scattered from me, and that thou camest not within the days appointed, and that the Philistines gathered themselves together at Michmash; Therefore said I, The Philistines will come down now upon me to Gilgal, and I have not made supplication unto the Lord: I forced myself therefore, and offered a burnt offering. And Samuel said to Saul, Thou hast done foolishly: thou hast not kept the commandment of the Lord thy God, which he commanded thee: for now would the Lord have established thy kingdom upon Israel for ever. But now thy kingdom shall not continue: the Lord hath sought him a man after his own heart, and the Lord hath commanded him to be captain over his people, because thou hast not kept that which the Lord commanded thee.

Manna from Heaven – Then said the Lord unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; that I may prove them – Exodus 16:4
However, see those who yielded to God in wholehearted and  prompt obedience.
See how they were favoured with enviable earthly and eternal blessings. This shall be your portion in Jesus name .
Abraham.

Gen 22:1 — Gen 22:3  And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am. And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.  And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him.

Gen 22:11 — Gen 2£2:12  And the angel of the Lord called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I. And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.

Gen 22:15 — Gen 22:18  And the angel of the Lord called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time, And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the Lord, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.

Manna from Heaven – Then said the Lord unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; that I may prove them – Exodus 16:4

2. Joshua.

Joshua 5:15  And the captain of the Lord’s host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.

3. Our Lord Jesus Christ. See His exemplary lifestyle of biblical obedience to our Father in heaven.

Luk 22:41 — Luk 22:42  And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.

John 6:38  For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

Phi 2:5 — Phi 2:8  Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Heb 5:7 — Heb 5:8  Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;

Manna from Heaven – Then said the Lord unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; that I may prove them – Exodus 16:4
See His earthly and eternal blessings.

Phi 2:9 — Phi 2:11  Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Hebrews 12:2  Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Beloved permit me with all humility to talk to you in particular.
You do not need any assumption to know whether you shall be part of the dawning rapture  or not.  You do not need a seer  or prophet to tell you, what will happen when the rapture takes place.
You will know now whether you shall be part of it or not. See what the Bible says.

1 Kings 18:21  And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the Lord be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.

Manna from Heaven – Then said the Lord unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; that I may prove them – Exodus 16:4
Beloved, you need not halt between two options.  You are sure the rapture is imminent and it shall happen, suddenly.
Certainty of the imminent rapture.

1Th 4:15 — 1Th 4:17  For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Jn 14:1 — Jn 14:3  Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

The suddenness of the event.

1Co 15:51 — 1Co 15:52  Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

1Th 5:2  For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

2Pe 3:10  But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Manna from Heaven – Then said the Lord unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; that I may prove them – Exodus 16:4
Beloved, you are also aware that after the event, there shall be indescribable and inexplanable sufferings during the great tribulation.

Mat 24:21  For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

Amo 5:18 — Amo 5:20  Woe unto you that desire the day of the Lord! to what end is it for you? the day of the Lord is darkness, and not light. As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him. Shall not the day of the Lord be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?

Manna from Heaven – Then said the Lord unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; that I may prove them – Exodus 16:4
Our Lord whom we are going to be meeting in the air, who knows the truth, through and through, gave His faithful believers, unfailing Panacea to escape the certain to happen gruesome and fearsome great tribulation.
What have you done about it.
Is it not unfortunate that many so called believers globally presently will strictly follow the instructions of the scientist not to catch Corona virus, but will do next to nothing, to do what our Lord said to avoid great tribulation.
It will be painfully unfortunate, if you in particular is cut in this web also.
See the panacea Jesus gave to avoid the great tribulation.

Rev 3:10 — Rev 3:11  Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

Manna from Heaven – Then said the Lord unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; that I may prove them – Exodus 16:4
You know you have done nothing about what Jesus said.
It will take obeying the entirety of the scriptures from now till Christ comes to partake in the dawning rapture.
See yourself, you are  still languishing in worldliness.
Your restitutions ,you have not done them.
You are still in that assembly where your eternal well-being is not guaranteed.
The second spouse is still in your house, you are living in daily adultery.
You are still busy pursuing ephemeral that you shall not have access to during the great tribulation except you receive the mark of the Antichrist.
You are still giving bribe and receiving bribe.
Which way are you better than Adam or king Saul?
Remember the blessed Holy Spirit had warned you over and over.  May the Lord help you in particular to be wise unto salvation in Jesus.
Why will you be buying what you could buy today with the grace of Christ?
Why will you want to buy them with your blood during the great tribulation?
I am persuaded you are going to be wise and do the sayings of Jesus.

Mat 7:24 — Mat 7:27   Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

Begin to do the needful now, so we will not weep in heaven, looking for you. It shall not be so in Jesus name.
Manna from Heaven – Then said the Lord unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; that I may prove them – Exodus 16:4

Beloved, pause sincerely and think about this.  Since you professed to be a believer, Has God ever carried you along when He is set to do something that shall bring glory to Him?
If this has not been happening to you, you should be concerned.
This might not be happening because of so many reasons.
1. May be you have not been turning when something that borders Hin  is being shown to you as Moses did

Exo 3:2 — Exo 3:4  And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt. And when the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.

2. May be you have not being thinking like Joshua, how Jericho wall hindering the progress of God’s work can come down.

Jos 5:13 — Jos 5:15  And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries? And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the Lord am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant? And the captain of the Lord’s host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.

May be you really don’t attach much importance to end time events, like Simeon was looking forward earnestly for the birth of Christ.

Luk 2:25 — Luk 2:32 And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him. And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord’s Christ. And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law, Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said,  Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word:  For mine eyes have seen thy salvation, Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people;

A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.
4. May be you are not asking God pungent questions on what you can do to move His kingdom forward like Paul did.

Act 9:3 — Act 9:6  And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.

5. May be you don’t desire spiritual experiences to grow in the things of God like Cornelius.

Act 10:1 — Act 10:6  There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band, A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway. He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius. And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God. And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter: He lodgeth with one Simon a tanner, whose house is by the sea side: he shall tell thee what thou oughtest to do.

6. May be you are not like John the beloved who devoted the Lord’s day to closer walk with God, while you use the Lord’s day for towns meeting and socialization.

Rev 1:9 — Rev 1:11  I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.

7, May be you are not like  Daniel and  Habakkuk who set  themselves apart desiring to hear God speak to them.

Dan 2:19 — Dan 2:23  Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven. Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:  He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.  I thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers, who hast given me wisdom and might, and hast made known unto me now what we desired of thee: for thou hast now made known unto us the king’s matter.

Hab 2:1 — Hab 2:3.  I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.  For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

8. May be you have so many king Uzziah”s engaging you in worldly affairs, hindering you of thinking about spiritual and eternal things.

Isa 6:1 — Isa 6:8  In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory. And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke. Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts. Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar: And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged. Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

Beloved, it is time you wake up from slumbering. God has secrets and He shared them with only believers who position themselves to hear them.
See what to do as a believer to access the secrets of God.
1. You must be living a lifestyle of biblical holiness and righteousness.

Proverbs 3:32  For the froward is abomination to the Lord: but his secret is with the righteous.

2. You must be lowly and meek in heart like our Lord.

Psalms 25:9  The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.

3. You must fear the Lord and eschew evil like Job, Joseph , Noah.

Psalms 25:12  What man is he that feareth the Lord?him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.

Psalms 25:14  The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.

Hebrews 11:7  By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

4. You must prophesy and propagate the gospel to the lost in your world of influence.

Amo 3:7  Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

Matthew 24:14  And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

5. You must determinedly set your affections on eternal things and take all your decisions from the perspective of readiness for the dawning rapture.

Col 3:1 — Col 3:4  If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

Beloved, if you are really not hearing from God, it makes your profession as a believer doubtful and exposes you to the danger of not knowing when the imminent rapture shall take place.
May this never ever be your portion in Jesus name.

Psa 10:4  The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God:God is not in all his thoughts.

Romans 1:28  And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Please should this be your situation, it is time to break your fallow ground and return to God.
The good Lord shall help you in particular in Jesus name.

Hosea 10:12  Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.

Jeremiah 35:15  I have sent also unto you all my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them, saying, Return ye now every man from his evil way, and amend your doings, and go not after other gods to serve them, and ye shall dwell in the land which I have given to you and to your fathers: but ye have not inclined your ear, nor hearkened unto me.

See you at the top in Jesus name

Jesus Christ is God and His Throne is Exalted Forever and Ever

Enrich and Sustain your relationship and fellowship with Jesus on a daily basis as you read our daily devotional {www.clcbconline.com}

KnowingJESUS Daily Devotional | October 9, 2019 – Enrich and Sustain your relationship with Jesus reading our daily devotional – Jesus Christ is God and His Throne is Exalted Forever and Ever

Hebrews 1:8  But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

Beloved, knowledge is power.  You will agree with me that the whole while  world have been tremendously  blessed in virtually every facets  of life,  via the discovery of science.
In  the same token,  believers of all ages and you in particular,  can be unusually blessed through  your  discovery of who Christ  Jesus,  our Lord  is.  The significant difference between a Bible believing believer  and a nominal  churchgoers,  is  their discovery of the person of our Lord Jesus Christ.
You might have marvelled at what made believers of  old ,  to submit joyfully to marterdom.  It was their discovery of  the person of Jesus.  You might have wondered  also while believers in our contemporary times left all to follow Christ.
It was their discovery of  the person of Christ.  See what Peter  said,  why others abandoned Christ.

Jn 6:67Jn 6:69  Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.

See  Peter and others abandoned all to follow Christ,  because of their discovery and persuasion,  of the person of Christ.

Mar 10:28 — Mar 10:30 Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee. And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s, But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life..

See what Martha said to our Lord,  because of her persuasion of Christ,  even after her  brother had died for four days.

Jn 11:21Jn 11:27 Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee. Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.

Have you ever wondered  while the injurious Saul of Tarsus, who latter became Paul apostle,  left all and pursued after Christ to know Him  more. Hear him yourself.

2Ti 1:12  For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.

Beloved,  permit me to ask you,  with all humility.  Have you discovered the person of Christ?  See what He said Himself.

John 5:39  Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

Is even impossible to know Him fully all through life.  But as you insatiably  pursue to know Him  more,  them  the blessed Holy  Spirit will continue to reval His unsearchable  riches.

Ephesians 3:8  Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;

Beloved,  follow on to know Him, like Paul .

Philippians 3:10  That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

As you follow on. This is what you shall discover.

Hosea 6:3  Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord: his going forth is prepared as the morning;  and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.

Beloved,  it is not blasphemy.  Jesus Christ ,  our Lord is God. Equal with your loving  Father in heaven in all things.  Listen to our Father in heaven  revealing  Christ to us , Himself.

Hebrews 1:8  But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

See what the  scriptures  says in the old testament,  before Christ came during His earthly ministry.

Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

Matthew 1:23  Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Isaiah 9:6  For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace

Beloved,  it is time for you too,  to abandon all and follow Christ.  This is because, He is God,  the creator of heaven and earth,  who is upholding  the entire  universe,  by the  word  of His power.

Heb 1:1Heb 1:3  God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

Dearly beloved,  Jesus Christ was not just our Saviour and Redeemer.  He is also our God.  See for yourself.

Jn 1:1Jn 1:3   In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

John 10:30  I and my Father are one.

John 10:33  The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.

Jn 20:27Jn 20:28  Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

Dearly beloved,  don’t  get to eternity to discover Jesus to be God.  Get to know Him now.  Your discovery shall enhance and facilitate your earthly and eternal fulfillment  without  stress.

John 15:5  I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Philippians 4:13  I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Philippians 4:19  But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

John 10:9  I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

To help believers of all ages and you in particular to be unusually blessed  and be fulfilled here and hereafter.  The blessed Holy Spirit,  single handedly  commissioned to testify for Christ,  reveals Him to them and you in particular.  Receive  grace to believe and embrace these worthwhile  revelations of Christ,  our Master ,Lord and God.

Jn 15:26  But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

See His certain revelations of Christ.

Hebrews 1:8  But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

Phi 2:5Phi 2:6   Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

Romans 9:5  Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.

Heb 3:3Heb 3:4  For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house. For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.

1 Timothy 3:16  And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

Dearly  beloved,  let these revelations  be impetus  for your  unusual walk  with and work for Christ,  till you see Him ,  come for you,  during the  dawning rapture.
Friend,  certainly and assuredly,  the  rapture  is dawning.  Why do you think,  Jesus shall  be the one to receive us in the air? The answer is simple,  because He is God.

Tit 2:13Tit 2:14  Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Your Father  in heaven proclaimed Him,  as God.

Hebrews 1:8  But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

Jesus is one of the  majestic  Triune God.

1 John 5:7  For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

See what the blessed Holy Spirit said through the beloved apostle,  John the beloved.  No doubt He is God.

1 John 5:20  And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

Friend,  the world from creation till now have experienced both the  dispensations of God the Father in the  time past,  during the Bible days and presently that of  the blessed Holy Spirit.  But  then saints  and believers  alike have suffered unavoidable pains because of their faith.
But during the dispensation of Jesus,  our God.  There shall be no single pain but joy unspeakable.  You shall be there in Jesus name.  His own dispensation shall take place, seven  years after the rapture,  immediately after the marriage supper.  It is referred to in the scriptures as His one thousand years millennium reign.  You shall be there in Jesus name.

Isaiah 9:6  For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Two out of the prophecy above had been fulfilled.  The last one shall be fulfilled during His peaceable one thousand millennium reign.  The child that was born,  was fulfilled at Bethlehem.
The Son that was given was fulfilled at Calvary,  when  He Himself,  suffered the most painful and most shameful vicarious death  to redeem us. The last of this prophecy of the government shall be upon His shoulder,  shall be fulfilled during  His own  peace  full  dispensation of one thousand years millennium reign.
It is  painful  many carefree believers shall not be there.  But you shall be there in Jesus name.   That is the reason you in particular,  should submit wholeheartedly to His Lordship now,  for you to  be part of His trouble free one thousand years millennium reign and dispensation.

John 13:13  Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.

We shall not find many believers during that time.  This is because today,  they received Him only as Savior,  but  not  as  Lord.

Luke 6:46  And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

Mat 7:21Mat 7:23  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

I am persuaded  you shall not be missing during this peaceful millennium reign,  because I  know that you are a very wise person.  So prove your wiseness by doing these two things.

Mat 7:24Mat 7:25  Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

Deuteronomy 32:29  O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!

The good Lord shall help you in particular in Jesus name.

John 13:6 – He came to Simon Peter, who said to him, “Lord, are you going to wash my feet?” Jesus replied, “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.” “No,” said Peter, “you shall never wash my feet.” Jesus answered, “Unless I wash you, you have no part with me.” “Then, Lord,” Simon Peter replied, “not just my feet but my hands and my head as well!”  Jesus answered, “Those who have had a bath need only to wash their feet; their whole body is clean. And you are clean, though not every one of you.” 11 For he knew who was going to betray him, and that was why he said not every one was clean.

Heb 1:1Heb 1:2  God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

What our Father was doing from the outset,  was still on till this  contemporary times.

Jeremiah 3:15  And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.

Jeremiah 23:4  And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the Lord.

God in turn wishes that His own people and you in particular,  chooses wholeheartedly, to follow godly prophets through which you can hear His mind made know unto you.
Unfortunately,  the churchgoers of today  prefer false prophets,  who will tell them what they want to hear and not necessarily what God wanted them to hear. Praise God,  you are not one of such people.

Jeremiah 5:31  The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?

It might  interest you to know, who  is a prophet of the Lord and  how you  can  identify them?  It is very easy to identify godly prophets revealing the mind of God to His beloved  people.
See how the scriptures  described then.
1. They  bring God’s people out of satanic captivity  and kept them preserved.

Hosea 12:13  And by a prophet the Lord brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved

2. They speak God’s words and not fables.

Jer 23:28Jer 23:29  The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the Lord. Is not my word like as a fire? saith the Lord; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?

3. They guided God’s own people from going astray or bring them back if they have.

4. They delighted in holiness standard of God.

Luke 1:70  As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began:

5. They teach God”s people the way of biblical salvation and freedom from sins.

Luk 1:76Luk 1:77  And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways;  To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins,

6. They continually exhorts  the beloved people of God to be grounded in His ways.

Acts 15:32  And Judas and Silas, being prophets also themselves, exhorted the brethren with many words, and confirmed them.

It is also very easy to know a prophet not sent by the Lord?
1. They speak their words not what makes people to turn from their evil ways.

Jer 23:21Jer 23:22  I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied. But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.

2. They speak their deceptive dreams which makes their hearers not to bother about their eternal wellbeing.

Jer 23:25Jer 23:27  I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed. How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart; Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal.

3. They make their hearers to go far from God’s ways to be pursuing momentary and not enduring or eternal fortunes.

Jer 23:30Jer 23:32  Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith the Lord, that steal my words every one from his neighbour. Behold, I am against the prophets, saith the Lord, that use their tongues, and say, He saith. Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the Lord, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the Lord.

Beloved,  the buck stops with you.  You are responsible for choosing the prophet,  you are following.  As an heavenly  minded believer,  endeavor to follow  a godly prophet.  It shall be  well with you in Jesus name.

Deuteronomy 32:29  O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!

Dearly beloved, Jesus our Lord was a good Shepherd,  who came principally to speak God’s words to His own people.

John 10:11  I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

John 17:8  For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.

John 17:14  I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

Our Lord then severally warns His Bible days followers and by extension believers of today and you in particular,  to be aware of false prophets,  and do everything to avoid them

Mat 7:15Mat 7:20  Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Mat 24:11Mat 24:12  And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

Mat 24:23Mat 24:25  Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before.

This same warning the blessed Holy Spirit is sounding  loud and clear  for believers  of today,  including you,  as He, the Spirit of God is preparing to take raptured  saints to meet with the Lord in the air.
The Spirit of God is tirelessly urging them to follow godly prophets,  that are themselves following God in all things and preparing His people for their earthly and eternal well being.

Heb 1:1Heb 1:2  God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

1 Thessalonians 2:10  Ye are witnesses, and God also, how holily and justly and unblameably we behaved ourselves among you that believe:

Painfully,  the churchgoers  of today, turned  deaf ears to this all important call and  chose the prophets that shall be speaking what they wanted to hear.

2Ti 4:12Ti 4:4   I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

But then for you ,  who shall be part of the saints,  the blessed Holy Spirit  shall take up in the  dawning rapture.   See the warnings,  He gave.

Rom 16:17Rom 16:18  Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

Phi 3:17Phi 3:19  Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample. (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

2Pe 2:12Pe 2:3  But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not

May the good Lord help you to heed,  this all important warnings for your eternal well being in Jesus name.

1 Timothy 4:16  Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

Friend,  the end time is here and the rapture is dawning. Perilous times have come.  It is important for you to be hearing  from God, through His godly prophets,  to help you to adequately prepare.

Heb 1:1Heb 1:2  God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

The reality of what is happening globally is a pointer that we are in the perilous times and you must avoid anything and everything,  anyone and everyone,  who can make you stray away from pathway  of preparedness for the coming of the Lord.

2Ti 3:12Ti 3:5  This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

As you are preparing you shall see some so called believers,  professing to be expecting the coming of the Lord,  but rejecting the wholesome  truth of God”s words and also departing from the faith.

2Th 2:102Th 2:12  And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

1Ti 4:11Ti 4:2  Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

Such churchgoers have preferred prophets who teaches them,  what they choose to hear.

However, for you to validate your earnest desire to partake in the dawning rapture, you must not and never  entertaining  false prophets and teachers  and merchandise motivational  speakers,  to have access to you

2Jo 1:82Jo 1:11  Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.  Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

But continually associate yourself with heaven minded believers and engaging in services that will get others  prepared and earn you reward at eternity.  The good Lord shall help you in Jesus name.

Mal 3:16Mal 3:18  Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another:  and the Lord hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon his name. And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him. Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.

Heb 1:1Heb 1:2  God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

God your loving Father was the singular source of the entire word in the Bible.  He began with speaking with the prophets in the old testament ,  but now speaking through Christ,  our Lord in the  new testament.  This made the words from Jesus to be final and superior to the words from the  prophets.

For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.

Deu 18:18Deu 18:19  I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.

See  it confirmed in the new testament.

Act 3:22Act 3:26  For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people. Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days. Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed. Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.

Beloved,  God sent Jesus our Lord,  because His words shall be final revelation of the scriptures  and will be superior to all that might have been written  by all the prophets in the  old testament put together.

CLCBC | Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | Oct , 2019 – Hebrews 1:2 – SUPERIORITY OF JESUS {He is greater & superior than} TO PROPHET OF OLD OR NOW
The entire Bible is classified into three segments.
1. The law.
2. The prophets.
3. The new testament.
The law contained   the first five books written by Moses.
The prophets contained  all that were written from the book of  Joshua  to Malachi,  written  by various holy men,  used by God.
The new testament were the  written   words  of  our Lord and his apostles.  See it revealed and confirmed through the event  at Mount of transfiguration.

Mat 17:1Mat 17:5  And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him. Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

Beloved,  God  categorically  announced from heaven that whatever was written in the law represented by Moses  or by the prophets  represented  by Elijah.  Once there was  anything written on the  same issue in the new testament,  represented by our Lord,  Jesus Christ.

CLCBC | Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | Oct , 2019 – Hebrews 1:2 – SUPERIORITY OF JESUS {He is greater & superior than} TO PROPHET OF OLD OR NOW
What was written on the  issue in the new testament, is superior and automatically nullifies the one in the old testament and should be obeyed accordingly. That  was the meaning of hear ye  him.
See one instance.

Exo 22:18. Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.

In the law through Moses,  it was written that anyone practising  witchcraft  should not live.  But the new testament has nulified  it. This was   because the sin of witchcraft  had been grouped with fornication and adultery and is forgivable. See it.

Gal 5:19Gal 5:21. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Beside this Jesus said we should forgive people that are doing evil or wickedness,  against us and not kill  them,  physically  or through our prayers.  The blessed Holy Spirit said,  we should bless and not curse.

Mat 5:43Mat 5:44. Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Romans 12:14. Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.

Our Lord went further to tell us that believers ,  have another spirit and that He had come to save and not to destroy.  See it.

Luk 9:54Luk 9:56. And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did? But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. For the Son of man is not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.

Beloved,  this was the finality and superiority of Jesus words and the entire new testament.  Today’s  believers praying that their enemies should die or wanting to kill witches through their prayers,  shall not be found in heaven,  for rejecting the final and superior words  of Jesus and the new testament.
This shall be their lots because they deliberately blinded their minds  to see the truth and be like Jesus.

2Co 3:142Co 3:18  But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same veil taken away in the reading of the old testament; which veil is done away in Christ. But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the veil is upon their heart. Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the veil shall be taken away. Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

These  so called believers are justifying  their wicked and unChristlike  attitude,  which is sinful and making them disobedient to Christ’s  instructions.

Luk 16:15   And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.

See they deliberately choose to be Moses’s disciples and not Jesus.

Jn 9:24Jn 9:29   Then again called they the man that was blind, and said unto him, Give God the praise: we know that this man is a sinner. He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see. Then said they to him again, What did he to thee? how opened he thine eyes? He answered them, I have told you already, and ye did not hear: wherefore would ye hear it again? will ye also be his disciples? Then they reviled him, and said, Thou art his disciple; but we are Moses’ disciples. We know that God spake unto Moses: as for this fellow, we know not from whence he is.

Beloved,  because you are heaven-minded,  follow  Jesus’s superior  and more excellent ministry.  This alone is the guarantee that we shall be with Him in heaven.  You shall be there in Jesus name.

Exodus 24:7 And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the Lord hath said will we do, and be obedient.

Dearly  beloved, Jesus our Lord came and spoke the words that were final revelation  from God the Father.

Heb 1:1Heb 1:2  God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

He Himself was the written,  spoken and the living Word.

Jn 1:1Jn 1:4   In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

1 John 5:7   For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

He was the truth  personified.

John 14:6  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

He was the undeniable light of the world.

John 8:12  Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

He can to establish a more excellent ministry with better  promises.

Heb 8:6Heb 8:7  But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.

For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.
This was confirmed by our loving Father in heaven on the Mount of transfiguration.

This had also been prophesied before this time.

See an instance of Jesus’s final and superior words.

Mat 19:3Mat 19:8  The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause? And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away? He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.

The new testament words  are  the  final that shall determine  where  you shall spend eternity. See some of them.
1. Killing in the old testament is different  from the new now

Mat 5:21Mat 5:22  Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

2. Adultery  in the  old is now different from the new.

Mat 5:27Mat 5:28  Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

Mar 10:11 — Mar 10:12  And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her. And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.

Rom 7:2Rom 7:3  For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband. So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.

3. Divorce  permitted  in the old and cancelled in the new.

Mat 5:31Mat 5:32  It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement: But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

4.  Swearing  cancelled in new testament.

Mat 5:33Mat 5:37  Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths: But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; it is God’s throne: Nor by the earth; it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King. Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black. But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.

5. Retaliation forbidden.
Jesus is greater than any prophet
Jesus is superior to any prophet
SUPERIORITY OF JESUS to prophet

Mat 5:38Mat 5:39  Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

6. Love your enemies.  No animosity or malice or unforgiving spirit.

Mat 5:43Mat 5:48  Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

7. Murder  in old testament  is different  from the  new.

1Jo 3:141Jo 3:15  We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.

1Jo 4:201Jo 4:21  If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.

The new testament words  are  the  final that shall determine  where  you shall spend eternity. Receive grace to do accordingly  in Jesus  name.
Jesus is greater than any prophet
Jesus is superior to any prophet
SUPERIORITY OF JESUS to prophet
Friend,  Jesus words are the final words  from God.  It is only those who wholeheartedly obey Jesus’s final revelation from God,  that shall have part in the dawning rapture.  You shall have part in Jesus name.

Heb 1:1Heb 1:2  God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

Jesus words are the  new commandment  from God.

Jn 12:46Jn 12:49  I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.

Christ words are the wisdom of  God that  shall qualify  the doer  to  spend eternity with God.
Jesus is greater than any prophet
Jesus is superior to any prophet
SUPERIORITY OF JESUS to prophet

Mat 7:21Mat 7:27  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?  then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.  Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

Jesus words are the final words  from God that shall not pass  away.

Mar 13:31  Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

Obeying Jesus final words and commandment’s  from God  shall guarantee  your readiness  for the  rapture.  May be good Lord  help you  in particular  to be wise unto salvation in Jesus name.

Beloved, settle it in your heart,  that every word in the Bible , from the  very first statement in Genesis  to the last one in the book of  Revelations have its source from the almighty God.  But then God sent these words through various individuals.

The time between Genesis in the old testament to Matthew , the very first in the new testament spans about four thousand  years and all through,  it was God speaking through various messengers  to His people.  See what the Bible says.

Heb 1:1Heb 1:2  God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

2Pe 1:202Pe 1:21  Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

Your  discovety  of this truth  should then affect your  attitude to the entirety of the eternal, unfailing ,  infallible words of God in the Bible.

1.  God”s words can bring  you unprecedented blessings and success on this side of heaven.  This shall be your portion in Jesus name.

Deu 28:1Deu 28:2  And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.

Joshua 1:8  This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

2. God”s words when fully obeyed can offer faultless guidance to you for a lifetime. I pray  the good Lord shall guide your  steps  all through your life  in Jesus name.

Psalms 32:8  I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.

Isa 48:17Isa 48:18  Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go. O that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments! then had thy peace been as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea:

Jeremiah 7:23 But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.

Very ,  very unfortunately on the other hand,  God’s words when disobeyed  can spell doom and  damnation to such a person here and at eternity.  This shall not be your portion in Jesus name. See these two instances here and hereafter.
1. Adam’s unprecedented  loses.

Gen 2:15Gen 2:17  And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Gen 3:17Gen 3:19  And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

2. Lot”s wife damned and now in  he’ll for wrong attitude to God’s  eternal words.

Genesis 19:17  And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.

Genesis 19:26  But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.

Beloved,  for God’s  eternal words to then benefit you and make you in particular,  to be fulfilled here and hereafter.  See what your determined  resolve must be. May God’s grace help you in particular,  to do so in Jesus name.

Exodus 24:7  And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the Lord hath said will we do, and be obedient.

Dearly  beloved, as a believer ,  you do not have any doubt in your heart,  that,  the Lord Jesus Christ was the undeniable written, spoken and the living Word of God.

Rev 19:11Rev 19:13  And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

Your realization of this  singular  truth should affect what you do with the entirety  of God’s  words  in the Bible.  This is because, the entire words from Genesis to Revelations  reveals the person of our  Lord Jesus Christ.

John 5:39  Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

Your right attitude like Peter and others shall bring you in particular,  fulfilment here and hereafter in Jesus name.

Luk 5:4Luk 5:7  Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. When they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake. And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.

Luk 11:27Luk 11:28  And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked. But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.

Unfortunately,  wrong attitude and disobedience to  any of the words,  is damnable.  This shall never ever be your portion,  so don’t ever do it.

Mat 7:21Mat 7:27  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? In thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.  Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: great was the fall of it.

Jn 12:46Jn 12:48  I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

To help believers of all ages to manifest the  right attitude and enjoy the blessings of God here and hereafter,  was what made the blessed  Holy Spirit,  to inspire this word  see it.

Heb 1:1Heb 1:2  God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

This same word was affirmed.  See it.

Believers of all ages  and you in particular,  have the following benefits on this side of heaven and at eternity,  when  they manifest  right attitude with the words of God in its entirety in the Bible.
1. Build you up and deliver your inheritances to you here and hereafter.

Acts 20:32  And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

2. Makes you  perfect like your Father  in heaven,  now and at eternity.

2Ti 3:162Ti 3:17  All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

These shall be  your portion in Jesus name.
Friend,  God alone was the source of the entire words in the Bible  from Genesis to  Revelations.  What you do as a person  with the entirety of  these words  shall determine your fortune in the  dawning rapture.

Heb 1:1Heb 1:2  God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

These words in the Bible  are settled forever.

Psalms 119:89  For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.

These words in the Bible shall never pass away for ever.

Mat 24:35  Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

God Himself exalted these words more than any of His name,  including the  exalted name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Psalms 138:2  I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

Very ,  very unfortunately,  multitude of believers  globally shall miss the  rapture because of their  wrong attitude to these words. See what they are doing. I am persuaded  you are  not part of them.
1. They rejected and hate the truth

2. They  determinedly associate with false teachers ,  who will teach them only what they want to  hear.

3. They picked what they want to do and reject what they don’t want.  This attitude shall make their names  to be removed from the book of  life and damned them.

Revelation 20:15  And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Friend,  because you are determined to be part of the dawning rapture,  you must never be found doing any of these un-Christlike  behavior.  But you must be obedient to all the words  and avoid  the great tribulations,  that shall take place immediately after the  rapture,  when we have gone to  meet  with our Lord in the air. it shall be  so for you in Jesus name.

Rev 3:10Rev 3:11  Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

Beloved, this saying is very true.  A prayerless  Christian is a powerless  one.  While a prayerful Christian is a powerful one.  Where do you belong?    It is important that you  be like Christ.  He began His ministry  by praying.

Luke 3:21  Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened,

He sustained His ministry  by praying.

Mark 1:35  And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.

Mar 6:46  And when he had sent them away, he departed into a mountain to pray.

Luk 6:12  And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.

He ended His ministry by praying.

Luk 22:41Luk 22:44  And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him. And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.

Heb 5:7Heb 5:8  Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;

CLCBC | Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | Oct 5, 2019 – Philemon 1:22 commentary – THE POTENCY AND POWER OF PRAYER AND THE FULFILMENT OF GOD’S PURPOSE On EARTHYou
Beloved,  if  prayer was the lifestyle and heartbeat of Christ.  You do not have any excuse to be found wanting  in the place of prayer.

Luke 18:1   And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

There  is nothing wrong when you ask others  to pray for you. But you yourself must be  a man or woman of prayer.  Jesus asked His disciples  to pray for Him. But He Himself was a  man of  prayer.  Paul apostle asked   Philemon and others  to pray  for  him,  to be realised  from prison, but he himself was a prayer  warrior.  See it.

Phm 1:22  But withal prepare me also a lodging: for I trust that through your prayers I shall be given unto you.

Beloved,  if there is  anything  God delight’s  to  see believers of all ages and you in particular doing,  it is communing  with Him in prayer as a beloved child to a caring  Father.  See it.

Isaiah 65:24  And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

Jer 29:12Jer 29:13  Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

Jeremiah 33:3   Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

Power Of Prayer
CLCBC | Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | Oct 5, 2019 – Philemon 1:22 commentary – THE POTENCY AND POWER OF PRAYER AND THE FULFILMENT OF GOD’S PURPOSE On EARTH
When you pray,  you can move  God to  save the  worst of  sinners.
Abraham  saved  Lot  from destruction of Sodon,  when he prayed for him

Genesis 19:29  And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in the which Lot dwelt.

Moses saved the whole nation of Israel and idolatrous  Aaron, when he prayed for them

Deu 9:18Deu 9:20  And I fell down before the Lord, as at the first, forty days and forty nights: I did neither eat bread, nor drink water, because of all your sins which ye sinned, in doing wickedly in the sight of the Lord, to provoke him to anger. For I was afraid of the anger and hot displeasure, wherewith the Lord was wroth against you to destroy you. But the Lord hearkened unto me at that time also. And the Lord was very angry with Aaron to have destroyed him: and I prayed for Aaron also the same time.

Rahab the prostitute stopped the destruction of her life and members of  her household,  when she prayed

Jos 2:11Jos 2:13 And as soon as we had heard these things, our hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for the Lord your God, he is God in heaven above, and in earth beneath. Now therefore, I pray you, swear unto me by the Lord, since I have shewed you kindness, that ye will also shew kindness unto my father’s house, and give me a true token: And that ye will save alive my father, and my mother, and my brethren, and my sisters, and all that they have, and deliver our lives from death.

See ,she and her household were the only people that were not destroyed in Jericho

Jos 6:22Jos 6:25  But Joshua had said unto the two men that had spied out the country, Go into the harlot’s house, and bring out thence the woman, and all that she hath, as ye sware unto her. The young men that were spies went in, and brought out Rahab, and her father, and her mother, and her brethren, and all that she had; and they brought out all her kindred, and left them without the camp of Israel. They burnt the city with fire, and all that was therein: only the silver, and the gold, and the vessels of brass and of iron, they put into the treasury of the house of the Lord. JAnd Joshua saved Rahab the harlot alive, and her father’s household, and all that she had; and she dwelleth in Israel even unto this day; because she hid the messengers, which Joshua sent to spy out Jericho.

Beloved,  your unsaved  spouse,  children,  parents,  siblings,  in laws,  close and extended  family members shall be  saved,  if you will pray for them.

Romans 10:1  Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.

BUT THEN  REMEMBER THIS.  DON’T EVER  EVER  FORGET IT. A praying man will not be sinning.  A sinning man will not be praying.   The prayer of a sinner  is an abomination to God.  It will never be heard.

Pro 15:8  The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord:but the prayer of the upright is his delight.

Isa 59:1Isa 59:2  Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:  But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

Zechariah 7:13  Therefore it is come to pass, that as he cried, and they would not hear; so they cried, and I would not hear, saith the Lord of hosts:

John 9:31  Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.

But then ,  you are not a sinner  so pray  and God will answer all your prayers and you shall advance the  eternal  purpose of  God on earth in Jesus  name.

Psalms 4:3  But know that the Lord hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the Lord will hear when I call unto him.

Dearly beloved, Jesus our Lord lived a lifestyle of advancing the eternal purposes of  God on earth,  through  persistent and  prevailing prayers,  during His earthly ministry.  See some instances.
He prayed for Peter  from been sifted by satan.

Luk 22:31Luk 22:32  And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

He prayed for the  forgiveness of His persecutors  on the  cross.

Luke 23:34  Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

He prayed for Bible days believers  and by extension believers  of all ages,  most importantly you. See them

John 17:9  I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.

Jn 17:15Jn 17:17  I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

John 17:24  Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

The blessed Holy Spirit  intending to  encourage believers  of all ages,  especially you, about the  potency of their prayers in advancing the eternal purposes  of God on earth, inspired apostle Paul to pen this  very important prayer . See it.

Phm 1:22  But withal prepare me also a lodging: for I trust that through your prayers I shall be given unto you.

Now see  yourself,  how God eternal  purposes  were advanced on earth,  during the  Bible days
1. Praying in anticipation for the promised baptism of Holy  Spirit.

Act 1:12Act 1:14  Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day’s journey. And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James. These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.

2. Prayed for the selection of  apostle  that replaced Judas .

Act 1:23Act 1:26  And they appointed two, Joseph called Barsabas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias. They prayed, and said, Thou, Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men, shew whether of these two thou hast chosen, That he may take part of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place. They gave forth their lots; and the lot fell upon Matthias; and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.

3. Praying for boldness to preach the Gospel.

Act 4:23Act 4:33  And being let go, they went to their own company, and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said unto them. And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is: Who by the mouth of thy servant David hast said, Why did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things? The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ. For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together, For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done. Now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, By stretching forth thine hand to heal; that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.  when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness. The multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common. With great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.

4.  Praying for restoration of  bavksliders.

Gal 4:19  My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,

5. Praying for  Christian experiences for believers

1 Thessalonians 3:10  Night and day praying exceedingly that we might see your face, and might perfect that which is lacking in your faith?

Colossians 4:12  Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.

Dearly beloved, it is your turn to do sane.  May the good  Lord help you in Jesus name .

1 Samuel 12:23  Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the Lord in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way:

Friend, your earnest  desire to be part of the dawning rapture,  shall be  granted in Jesus name.  But then you can not afford  to be slack in the  place of prayers. You will continue to edify  yourself,  as you engage tirelessly in advancing God’s  eternal  purposes  on  earth.  See what to do at this end time.

Jud 1:22Jud 1:23 And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

Jam 5:19Jam 5:20  Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

You spend time personally  praying for yourself and  others, them like  apostle  Paul,  encourage others to  pray for you .

Phm 1:22  But withal prepare me also a lodging: for I trust that through your prayers I shall be given unto you.

When you do these, you can be sure God will continue to  answer your prayers.

1 John 3:22  And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

So till Jesus comes,  engage ceaselessly and tirelessly  in praying the following ways :
1. To be kept  from falling.

Jude 1:24  Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,

2  Pray not to look back like Lot”s wife and  Demas.

Luke 9:62  And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

3. As iniquities  abound in the last days, pray for  grace  to endure to the  end.

Mat 24:12Mat 24:13  And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Pray for  grace   to remain undefiled  to the end.

2 Corinthians 9:8  And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

The good Lord shall help you in particular in Jesus name.

FIRST BE RECONCILED WITH YOUR BROTHER

Enrich and Sustain your relationship and fellowship with Jesus on a daily basis as you read our daily devotional {www.clcbconline.com}

KnowingJESUS Daily Devotional | October 4, 2019 – Enrich and Sustain your relationship with Jesus reading our daily devotional – FIRST BE RECONCILED WITH YOUR BROTHER.

Matt 5:23 – Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24 leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.

Phm 1:12   I beseech thee for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten in my bonds: Which in time past was to thee unprofitable, but now profitable to thee and to me:   Whom I have sent again: thou therefore receive him, that is, mine own bowels:

Beloved, saints and believers of old have one unique virtue that you must imbibe and embrace.  They took God’s words seriously and lived with eternity in view.  One of the things God commanded His faithful saints to do to please Him and prepare them to live with Him eternally,  was to ensure their past wrongs were corrected.

Ecclesiastes 3:15  That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.

Paul apostle was conscious of this  lifestyle all His days. At a particular time in his  life,  he was imprisoned . While there a young man was brought to the prison who absconded from his master after defrauding him. The long arm of the law caught up with him eventually and was kept in prison,  where Paul was.
According to Paul”s manner,  he preached the Gospel to him and he became a devoted believer very very useful to Paul apostle.  When he got to know what brought him to proson,  he did something very commendable,  which you to must do as a Bible believing beluever.
This converts name was  Onesimus and his  master’s name ,  who also was a faithful  and beloved  believrer  known to  Paul apostle was Philemon
Now when  Onesimus completed his time of imprisonment  and was to be realised.  Paul instead of  keeping him,  even though now very useful to him and  would have loved to stay  with him ,  sent him back to his master.  He did what the Bible referred to as restitution,  correcting our past wrongs.  See it.

Phm 1:10Phm 1:12   I beseech thee for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten in my bonds: Which in time past was to thee unprofitable, but now profitable to thee and to me:   Whom I have sent again: thou therefore receive him, that is, mine own bowels:

See what he did ,  before he was brought up prison and met Paul apostle.

Philemon 1:13  Whom I would have retained with me, that in thy stead he might have ministered unto me in the bonds of the gospel:

Phm 1:17Phm 1:20  If thou count me therefore a partner, receive him as myself. If he hath wronged thee, or oweth thee ought, put that on mine account; I Paul have written it with mine own hand, I will repay it: albeit I do not say to thee how thou owest unto me even thine own self besides. Yea, brother, let me have joy of thee in the Lord: refresh my bowels in the Lord.

Paul promised , to pay back to  Philemon,  all the money  Onesimus stole that led to his imprisonment.  He helped him to correct his past wrongs.  Pause a little here.  Have you corrected your past wrongs?  Have you done your restitution?  If you are going to be like Bible days saints and believers  and you really wants to  live with God at eternity,  you must do your restitution s  and correct your past wrongs.
See what the Bible has to say about various restitution,  God expects believers of all ages and you in particular to do.
1  Marriage : if you  have divorced your spouse  to marry another.

Gen 20:6Gen 20:7  And God said unto him in a dream, Yea, I know that thou didst this in the integrity of thy heart; for I also withheld thee from sinning against me: therefore suffered I thee not to touch her. Now therefore restore the man his wife; for he is a prophet, and he shall pray for thee, and thou shalt live: and if thou restore her not, know thou that thou shalt surely die, thou, and all that are thine.

2. Stolen things: if you have stollen to enrich yourself,  before your conversion.

Exo 22:1Exo 22:5  IIf a man shall steal an ox, or a sheep, and kill it, or sell it; he shall restore five oxen for an ox, and four sheep for a sheep.  If a thief be found breaking up, and be smitten that he die, there shall no blood be shed for him. If the sun be risen upon him, there shall be blood shed for him; for he should make full restitution; if he have nothing, then he shall be sold for his theft. If the theft be certainly found in his hand alive, whether it be ox, or ass, or sheep; he shall restore double.  If a man shall cause a field or vineyard to be eaten, and shall put in his beast, and shall feed in another man’s field; of the best of his own field, and of the best of his own vineyard, shall he make restitution.

3. Restoration of  things gotten through deception.  If you have deceived others to be rich before your conversion.

Lev 6:1Lev 6:5  And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, If a soul sin, and commit a trespass against the Lord, and lie unto his neighbour in that which was delivered him to keep, or in fellowship, or in a thing taken away by violence, or hath deceived his neighbour; Or have found that which was lost, and lieth concerning it, and sweareth falsely; in any of all these that a man doeth, sinning therein: Then it shall be, because he hath sinned, and is guilty, that he shall restore that which he took violently away, or the thing which he hath deceitfully gotten, or that which was delivered him to keep, or the lost thing which he found, Or all that about which he hath sworn falsely; he shall even restore it in the principal, and shall add the fifth part more thereto, and give it unto him to whom it appertaineth, in the day of his trespass offering.

4. Restitution  done to the Lord,  when you can not locate the person defrauded. . If you can not locate the person you defrauded.  Do it to the Lord.  Drop it in the  offering box of your church.

Num 5:5Num 5:8  And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, When a man or woman shall commit any sin that men commit, to do a trespass against the Lord, and that person be guilty; Then they shall confess their sin which they have done: and he shall recompense his trespass with the principal thereof, and add unto it the fifth part thereof, and give it unto him against whom he hath trespassed. But if the man have no kinsman to recompense the trespass unto, let the trespass be recompensed unto the Lord, even to the priest; beside the ram of the atonement, whereby an atonement shall be made for him.

Paying back debts. Endeavor to pay back your debts to those you are owing.

Ezk 33:14Ezk 33:16  Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right; If the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die. None of his sins that he hath committed shall be mentioned unto him: he hath done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live.

May God help you  to obey Him.  This is a very important requirement for living with God in eternity.  If you don’t want to correct your past as outlined  above.  Don’t bother about eternity with God.  But if you really wants to live with God eternally,  which I am persuaded is your goal.
Then make sure you correct  your past.  The good Lord shall help you in particular  in Jesus name.

Ecclesiastes 3:15  That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.

Dearly  beloved, you know that Jesus our Lord is the truth personified.  He knows the truth,  through and through.

John 14:6  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Jesus said ,  the only thing that authenticate the biblical salvation of all His believers of all ages including you is restitution.  See it.

Luk 19:8Luk 19:9  And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold. And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham.

It means any believer who fails to correct his  or her past does not have biblical salvation,  that can earn the person eternity with Him.  Please attach importance to the words of  our Lord.
He went  further  to encourage anyone who wants to  serve Him and be rewarded  in eternity for such services,  to correct their pasts  and do their restitution.

Mat 5:23Mat 5:24  Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.

This  was what the blessed Holy Spirit  reemphasized through apostle Paul.  See it.

Phm 1:10Phm 1:12   I beseech thee for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten in my bonds: Which in time past was to thee unprofitable, but now profitable to thee and to me:   Whom I have sent again: thou therefore receive him, that is, mine own bowels:

Remember every time you do wrong,  you sinned against God and man.

Acts 24:16  And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offense toward God, and toward men.

So if you secure forgiveness from God by repenting.  You must do same with man ,  that you have offended.  See Paul,  apologizing to a leader  that wronged him. That was restitution.

Act 23:1Act 23:5  And Paul, earnestly beholding the council, said, Men and brethren, I have lived in all good conscience before God until this day. And the high priest Ananias commanded them that stood by him to smite him on the mouth. Then said Paul unto him, God shall smite thee, thou whited wall: for sittest thou to judge me after the law, and commandest me to be smitten contrary to the law? And they that stood by said, Revilest thou God’s high priest? Then said Paul, I wist not, brethren, that he was the high priest: for it is written, Thou shalt not speak evil of the ruler of thy people.

It is very important to do restitution in marriage if you intends to live with God in eternity.
Marriage is monogamy not polygamy  and it is for lifetime.

Mat 19:5Mat 19:6  And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

Jesus said while your spouse is alive ,  if you abandon him or her and marrry  another.  You are an adulterer.  If you die in the condition or rapture  takes place.  Such a person is a candidate of he’ll and damnation.

Mar 10:11 — Mar 10:12  And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her. And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.

The samevthing  Jesus said  was affirmed by the blessed Holy Spirit . See it.

You can only remarry in  the Lord ,  that is marry a Christian,  when you lawful spouse died.

1 Corinthians 7:39  The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord.

Dearly beloved,  please do your restitutions.  Eternity is very important.  God bless you.
Friend,  if your desire to  partake in the dawning rapture shall be actualised,  then give attention to  correct your past  and do your restitutions,  as Paul did.

Phm 1:10Phm 1:12   I beseech thee for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten in my bonds: Which in time past was to thee unprofitable, but now profitable to thee and to me:   Whom I have sent again: thou therefore receive him, that is, mine own bowels:

God required correction of the past from every  intending  pilgrims who wants to  live with Him eternally.  Since that is your goal.  It shall be  accomplished in Jesus name.  So do your restitution and correct  your past wrongs.

Ecclesiastes 3:15  That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and

Jesus,  your redeemer,  that paid a shameful and painful price to redeemed  you said,  your salvation is not authentic and acceptable in heaven,  until it is joined with correction of your past,  which is doing  your restitution.

Remember if you will avoid  being part of great tribulations,  that shall begin immediately after  the  imminent  rapture,  you must be obedient to the entirety of His words in the Bible.  One of such words  is restitution.  Have you done it? Endeavor to do it,  to help you  partake in the rapture.

Rev 3:10Rev 3:11  Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

Jesus said,  any of His  words  not obeyed  by anyone and everyone  shall  judge the  person at the last day.  One of such words,  is restitution.  Make sure you do it.

The good Lord shall help you in particular to be wise unto salvation in Jesus  name.
