Dearly beloved brethren, Balaam prayed, one of the best prayer in the Bible, but it was not answered. See it.

Num 23:10 Who can count the dust of Jacob, and the number of the fourth part of Israel?Let me die the death of the righteous, and let my last end be like his!

But then David prayed like Balaam, one of the greatest prayer in the Bible, his own prayer was answered. See it.

Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee; and let thy judgments help me. – Psalms 119:175

David lives. He is now in heaven. He lives, like our blessed Redeemer lives.

Job 19:25 For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: 19:26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:

Our Lord confirms, He lives.

Revelation 1:17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

The blessed Holy Spirit says our Lord, lives.

Hebrews 7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

Romans 6:9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.

Good the Father, our loving Father, lives.

Psalms 18:46 The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted.

Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee; and let thy judgments help me. – Psalms 119:175

Dearly beloved brethren, both Jesus Christ and the blessed Holy Spirit wants you too, to live.

See what Jesus said about you.

John 14:18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. 14:19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

See what the blessed Holy Spirit said about you

2 Corinthians 13:4 For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you.

See what you must do to live eternally with Christ.

John 11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 11:26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

Acts 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee; and let thy judgments help me. – Psalms 119:175

Believe in His finished work on the cross for you to be biblically saved. Continue, take advantage of His blood, be sanctified.

Hebrews 13:12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.

After you have been sanctified, use the rest of your life, till He comes to live for Him and then like David, your own soul also shall. live with Him in heaven and not die in hell.

2 Corinthians 5:14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: 5:15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

1 Peter 4:1 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; 4:2 That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee; and let thy judgments help me. – Psalms 119:175

I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments. – Psalms 119:176

Dearly beloved brethren, as you read of misfortunes that happened to some people in Bible days, don’t ever be self deceived, thinking, such a thing, can not happen to you, but rather in humility be watchful, to avert it. See what the Bible says.

1 Corinthians 10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. 10:12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

When you read that Demas looked back and loved this present evil world. When you read of Lot’s wife that looked back and became a pillar of salt. When you read of Judas that betrayed Jesus for thirty pieces of silver or David a man after the mind of God, who committed adultery and killed to cover it up.

What you should then do is to earnestly pray and besecch the Lord to keep you in particular to the end.

We are grateful to Jesus, the Shepherd and Bishop of our soul, who will always help us and restore our souls from sliding back.

1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. 2:25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

Psalms 23:1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 23:2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 23:3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

Isaiah 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments. – Psalms 119:176

Beloved brethren let us endeavour to reach out in intercession and follow up on any of our brethren, who have slided back from the faith.

James 5:19 Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; 5:20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

King David from personal experience, after surviving the travails of his adulterous escapades with Beersheba, pleaded with God, to keep him from sliding back again.

Psalms 119:176 I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments.

Psalms 119:67 Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.

Psalms 51:12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. 51:14 Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.

I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments. – Psalms 119:176

Like king David, beloved brethren, let us watch and pray, lets we fall into temptations, according to the sayings of Christ.

Matthew 26:41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

The good Lord shall help you in particular in Jesus name.

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | April 15, 2021 | LESSONS FROM PSALMS | I have longed for thy salvation

I have longed for thy salvation, O LORD; and thy law [ commandment, decrees, statues ] is my delight. - Psalms 119:174

I have longed for thy salvation, O LORD; and thy law [ commandment, decrees, statues ] is my delight. – Psalms 119:174

I have longed for thy salvation, O LORD; and thy law is my delight. – Psalms 119:174

Dearly beloved brethren, please don’t be offended. Are you saved?

The singular reason for this question, is to awake you in particular, to know that, the essence of religion, is for humanity to be saved.

Jn 3:16 — Jn 3:17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Anyone and everyone professing religion must as a matter of compulsion, be saved from their sins. This was why, Jesus Christ our Lord, came to this earth.

Matthew 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

It is when we were biblically saved, that we shall live with God in heaven.

Rom 5:9 — Rom 5:10 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. 10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

I have longed for thy salvation, O LORD; and thy law is my delight. – Psalms 119:174

No wonder, being saved was the theme of salvation messages, in Bible days.

Mar 16:15 — Mar 16:16 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Acts 16:30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

I have longed for thy salvation, O LORD; and thy law is my delight. – Psalms 119:174

Apostle Paul was not ashamed of the fact , that, he was biblically saved.

1 Timothy 1:15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

As the issue of being biblically saved was a very important issue in the new testament, so it was, even in the old testament.

No wonder, David had a lounging to experience salvation that counts and guarantee his eternal wellbeing. See this.

Psalms 119:174 I have longed for thy salvation, O LORD; and thy law is my delight.

Beloved, if David desired salvation that counts to guarantee his secured eternity, you must do same.

The good Lord shall help you in particular to be wise unto salvation in Jesus name.

2Ti 3:15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

I have longed for thy salvation, O LORD; and thy law is my delight. – Psalms 119:174

Let thine hand help me; for I have chosen thy precepts. – Psalms 119:173

Dearly beloved brethren, because you are going to attain greatness in life, you must discover the source of greatness without sorrow.

You must seek the marvelous help of God.

King Uzzaih attained unusual height, because he received the marvelous help of the Lord.

2 Chronicles 26:15 And he made in Jerusalem engines, invented by cunning men, to be on the towers and upon the bulwarks, to shoot arrows and great stones withal. And his name spread far abroad; for he was marvellously helped, till he was strong.

You also must look heavenward to obtain this help

Psalms 121:1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. 121:2 My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.

This help from on high is the guarantee for safety in times of challenges.

Psalms 20:1 The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee; 20:2 Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;
Let thine hand help me; for I have chosen thy precepts. – Psalms 119:173

The reason for this is because, it is going to be timely, you get the help when you need it. This shall surely be your portion in Jesus name.

Psalms 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 46:2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 46:3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. 46:4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. 46:5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.

This help delivers from all forms of shame.

Isaiah 50:7 For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.

Paul apostle experienced such help in his life and ministry.

Acts 26:22 Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come:
Let thine hand help me; for I have chosen thy precepts. – Psalms 119:173

This help from God is promised to all saints and believers of all ages and that includes you .

Isaiah 44:1 Yet now hear, O Jacob my servant; and Israel, whom I have chosen: 44:2 Thus saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, which will help thee; Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen.
Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Hebrews 13:6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
Let thine hand help me; for I have chosen thy precepts. – Psalms 119:173

David having experienced over and over the help of God, pleaded with the Lord passionately, to help Him continually. See the following scriptures.

Let thine hand help me; for I have chosen thy precepts. – Psalms 119:173
Psalms 54:4 Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.
Psalms 63:7 Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.

Beloved, what are you waiting for, reach out to God and you shall be helped and delivered from this painful challenges.

Exodus 18:4 And the name of the other was Eliezer; for the God of my father, said he, was mine help, and delivered me from the sword of Pharaoh:

It shall be so in Jesus name.

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | April 12 2021 | LESSONS FROM PSALMS | My lips shall utter praise

My lips [ mouth ] shall utter praise [ magnify and glorify your name ], when thou hast taught me thy statutes. - Psalms 119:171

My lips shall utter praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes. – Psalms 119:171

Dearly beloved brethren, praise and worship are comely for Bible believing believers, who are committed to obeying God in all things and at all times.

Doing this makes their praise and worship counts before God..

Acts 2:42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. vs 46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, 47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

Only these saints, worship God in truth and Spirit, because God magnified His word above any praise and worship. See this.

Psalms 138:2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
My lips shall utter praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes. – Psalms 119:171

Beloved brethren, when this becomes your lifestyle, then you must be thankful and praiseful.

God takes so much delight in the saints that obeys His words.

Psalms 92:1 It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: 92:2 To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night, 92:3 Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.
Psalms 34:1 I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. 34:2 My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. 34:3 O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.
Psalms 100:1 Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. 100:2 Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing. 100:3 Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. 100:4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. 100:5 For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
My lips shall utter praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes. – Psalms 119:171

Jesus Christ our Lord, taught Bible believing believers of all ages and that includes you, to praise God at all times and in prayers. See this.

Matthew 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, lived a lifestyle of thanking and worshiping God, during His earthly ministry. See some instances.

Matthew 15:36 And he took the seven loaves and the fishes, and gave thanks, and brake them, and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.
Matthew 26:27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;
Luke 10:21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.
John 11:41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me..
My lips shall utter praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes. – Psalms 119:171

Even, before going to Gethsemane to pray and to the cross, He worshipped God, with His disciples. See this yourself.

Matthew 26:30 And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.

This praise for obedient saints was what, David was engaging in appreciation of numerous unmerited mercies of God in His life. See this.

My lips shall utter praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes. – Psalms 119:171
Psalms 103:1 Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. 103:2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

Beloved brethren, make your own praise and worship too , counts before God, as you delight Him, with lifestyle of obedient in all things and at all times, like Daniel.

Daniel 2:19 Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven. 2:23 I thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers, who hast given me wisdom and might, and hast made known unto me now what we desired of thee: for thou hast now made known unto us the king’s matter.
My lips shall utter praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes. – Psalms 119:171

Psalms 34:4 I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
Psalms 34:6 This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
Psalms 34:17 The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.

Amen.
Let my supplication come before thee: deliver me according to thy word. – Psalms 119:170

In addition, both our Lord Jesus Christ and the blessed Holy Spirit, promised the people of God, ever increasing divine presence that secures them from all challenges.

Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Hebrews 13:5 – 6.
Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. 13:6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

David here was supplicating and beseeching God to deliver him from troubles according to His unfailing promises. God did.. See it.

Let my cry [ prayer and petition ] come near before thee, O LORD: give me understanding according to thy word. – Psalms 119:169

Dearly beloved brethren, it is very very important for you to understand, the kingdom dynamics.

In God’s kingdom, either as saints in the old testament or Bible believing believers in the new testament, the only means of reaching God, is by prayer of faith.

Those who prays and continue in prayers till their answers come, like Daniel prayed for three weeks, non stop, till he received answers. Only such saints can receive from God, according to Jesus.

Luke 18:1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 7:8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. 7:9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? 7:10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
Let my cry come near before thee, O LORD: give me understanding according to thy word. – Psalms 119:169

However, those who refused to pray, can murmur or backslide, they shall not receive any thing from God.

James 4:2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.

God’s words says, if you lack anything, not only wisdom, just pray and continue to pray till you receive.

James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

Fervent and earnest prayer courts so much in the kingdom.

James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

So, when you are confronted with challenges, just pray and you shall be delivered.

Psalms 50:15 And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.
Psalms 91:15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
Let my cry come near before thee, O LORD: give me understanding according to thy word. – Psalms 119:169

God promised all who prays that, He would answer them speedily.

Isaiah 65:24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

But then sin hinders prayer of anyone and everyone.

Isaiah 59:1 Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: 59:2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.
John 9:31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.

But then, when you asked God according to His will and word,He will answer.

1 John 5:14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 5:15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
Let my cry come near before thee, O LORD: give me understanding according to thy word. – Psalms 119:169

In addition, when you live to please Him, He answers your prayers.

1 John 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

This was the earnest request of David, as he cried to the Lord in prayer. He wanted God to teach him, the dynamics of answers prayer in the kingdom. God heard him and answered him. See it yourself m

Let my cry come near before thee, O LORD: give me understanding according to thy word. – Psalms 119:169

What He did for David, He will do for you as you also commit yourself to the dynamics of answered prayers in the kingdom.

I have kept thy precepts and thy testimonies [ commandments and laws ]: for all my ways are before thee. - Psalms 119:168
I have kept thy precepts and thy testimonies [ commandments and laws ]: for all my ways are before thee. - Psalms 119:168

I have kept thy precepts and thy testimonies [ commandments and laws ]: for all my ways are before thee. – Psalms 119:168

I have kept thy precepts and thy testimonies: for all my ways are before thee. – Psalms 119:168

Dearly beloved brethren, you shall experience peace and rest in time and eternity, here and hereafter in Jesus name.

Psalms 37:37 Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.
Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

Because this is going to be so, give God opportunity to teach you the way of peace and rest.

Psalms 32:8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
Isaiah 48:17 Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go. 48:18 O that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments! then had thy peace been as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea:
I have kept thy precepts and thy testimonies: for all my ways are before thee. – Psalms 119:168

The reason for this is because, the way you choose without a recourse to God, most times are way to destruction and snares of the devil.

Pro 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man,but the end thereof are the ways of death.
Proverbs 16:25 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

When you humbly opted for God’s pathway and follow it wholeheartedly, it might be difficult and challenging, but it will surely end up in life eternal.

Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

The reason why God has chosen that way for you is to refine you and make you more like Him and be fulfilled here and hereafter.

Job 23:10 But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.
I have kept thy precepts and thy testimonies: for all my ways are before thee. – Psalms 119:168

And when you joyfully follow God’s way, even your adversaries shall be at peace with you.

Pro 16:7 When a man’s ways please the Lord,he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.

It was for this reason that David made his ways plain, before God, to help him not to stumble. See it.

I have kept thy precepts and thy testimonies: for all my ways are before thee. – Psalms 119:168

Beloved to help you too not to stumble into the snares of satan, make God’s way, your choice way.

Luke 1:79 To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.

May the good Lord help you to walk in this way till Christ comes in Jesus name.

I have kept thy precepts and thy testimonies: for all my ways are before thee. – Psalms 119:168

My soul hath kept [ observed and obeyed ] thy testimonies; and I love them [ your testimonies ] exceedingly. - Psalms 119:167

My soul hath kept [ observed and obeyed ] thy testimonies; and I love them [ your testimonies ] exceedingly. – Psalms 119:167

My soul hath kept thy testimonies; and I love them exceedingly. – Psalms 119:167

Dearly beloved brethren, it is very important for you to know that, we are not Christians, because we are attending gospel churches , paying tithes, sowing seed, singing in the choir or members of prayer warriors or Ushers in the church.

The only thing that makes you in particular a child of God is that, you are keeping and doing the word of God. Don’t ever forget.

See what Jesus said about doing and keeping the word of God.

Luk 11:28 But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.
Luke 6:47 Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: 6:48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.
Matthew 12:48 But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren? 12:49 And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! 12:50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
Luke 8:21 And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it.
John 13:17 If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.
Psalms 112:1 Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.
Psalms 128:1 Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways.
My soul hath kept thy testimonies; and I love them exceedingly. – Psalms 119:167

Let this never be forgotten by you, keeping and doing God’s word makes you in particular, a very wise person.

Matthew. 7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 7:25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.,

Beloved, it is not keeping and doing the word of God, that shall shut out multitude of people from both inside and outside of the church, out of heaven.

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

In the same token, it is keeping and doing the word of God, that shall open the door of heaven for Bible believing believers like you.

Revelation 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Pause here and sincerely examine yourself, are you keeping and doing the word of God or you are holding unto other things, you are doing for God? The Bible says, such things are cistern that shall fail.

Jer 2:13 For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.
My soul hath kept thy testimonies; and I love them exceedingly. – Psalms 119:167

Remember, only those who are keeping and doing the word of God are His children.

Exo 24:7 And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the Lord hath said will we do, and be obedient.

No wonder, David loved God’s word and was keeping them determinedly. See it.

My soul hath kept thy testimonies; and I love them exceedingly. – Psalms 119:167

Like David, begin to love God’s word and be keeping and doing them and God shall bless you here and you will also live with Him in eternity in Jesus name.

Revelation 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
My soul hath kept thy testimonies; and I love them exceedingly. – Psalms 119:167

Knowing JESUS Daily Devotional | April 7 2021 | LESSONS FROM PSALMS | LORD, I have hoped for thy salvation

LORD, I have hoped and waited for thy salvation [ I long for your rescue ], and done thy commandments. - Psalms 119:166

LORD, I have hoped for thy salvation, and done thy commandments. – Psalms 119:166

Dearly beloved brethren, if there is any word, everyone in the church world globally are familiar with, it is the word salvation.

However, if there is any experience, majority of churchgoers all over the world are lacking, it is biblical salvation.

Pause and don’t be offended as the blessed Holy Spirit is asking you, are you biblically born again?

What does it mean to be biblically born again? It means you are free from everything the Bible says it is sin.

Matthew 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins

Jesus’s primary ministry, is to save everyone professing religion from all sins.

LORD, I have hoped for thy salvation, and done thy commandments. – Psalms 119:166

It is only through Jesus’s vicarious sacrifice that, this experience can be attained.

Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

God has done everything to place salvation at the disposal of every one.

Tit 2:11 — Tit 2:12 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

You experience biblical salvation, when you are sincerely sorrowful, because of your sin.

2Co 7:10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

Then you repent immediately, because you might not have opportunity for it again.

2Co 6:2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

Once you have confessed your sins and embrace the finished work of Christ on the cross, you are biblically saved.

Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
LORD, I have hoped for thy salvation, and done thy commandments. – Psalms 119:166

You then follow up your biblical salvation with restitution.

Luk 19:8 — Luk 19:9 And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold. 9 And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham.

It is when you joined your biblical salvation with restitution, that you will be able to partake in the dawning rapture and avert wrath of God, during the great tribulation.

1Th 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

This biblical salvation joined with restitution, is very important that, the scriptures, warns, that, it is the only way to escape damnation.

Heb 2:3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
LORD, I have hoped for thy salvation, and done thy commandments. – Psalms 119:166

This biblical salvation is the essence of the gospel.

Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

This biblical salvation is not altogether unknown, even in the old testament.

The only difference is that, they were redeemed with the blood of animals, while. believers in the new treatment are redeemed with the blood of Jesus.

David knew the importance of salvation and obedience to the entirety of God’s words, if his eternal well-being shall be secured. So, he whole-heartedly embraced salvation. See it.

LORD, I have hoped for thy salvation, and done thy commandments. – Psalms 119:166

Beloved, if David embraced biblical salvation, you must do same.

May the good Lord help you to be wise unto salvation in Jesus name.

2Ti 3:15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
LORD, I have hoped for thy salvation, and done thy commandments. – Psalms 119:166
