STAY FOCUS TO THE TASK | And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it – Colossians 4:17
Beloved, it is very important for you to always do everything you are engaged in doing , now from the perspective of eternity. The successes accomplished on this side of heaven by you is not a guarantee that you have done what God ordained you to do. See what Jesus our Lord said.
John 6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
Beloved your sojourn on earth is very minute, insignificant and infinitesimal to the time you are going to spend at eternity. So be determined to pursue what would give you in particular joy and reward at eternity.
Deuteronomy 32:29 O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!
God your loving Father has a unique purpose for your existence on this side of heaven. You must discover it and pursue it.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end

It is by doing so that you shall have a reward from Him at eternity. A lot of people might achieve greatness on earth and might even be envied by others. Such people might have irreparable regret at eternity for failure to discover and do their God ordained purpose on this side of heaven. Pause a little and ponder.
Have you discovered God”s purpose for you on earth? Are you Fulfilling His ordained assignment or you are pursuing your own selfish agenda? You might seems to be successful, but if it us your selfish ambition you achieve on earth, then therr shall not be any reward for you at eternity
So endeavour to discover God’s original purpose for you and pursue it . Doing this alone guarantee eternal rewrds for you. See brethren of like passion that discovered God’s purpose for their lives and fulfilled then.

Gen 12:1 — Gen 12:4 Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. Beloved, see God’s promised reward if you fulfil His purpose on earth.
Isaiah 40:10 Behold, the Lord God will come with strong hand,and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.
1Co 3:7 — 1Co 3:8 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.
Receive this exhortation and do likewise.

Dearly beloved, during the earthly ministry of our Lord, He committed Himself to doing only what God sent Him and finished it.
John 6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
John 8:29 And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.
John 4:34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
John 17:4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
In the same way God the Father sent Him to fulfil a particular assignment, so also He commissioned believers of all ages and you to do likewise.
John 17:18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.
John 20:21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

So Jesus ordained all His followers and that includes you in particular, for specific assignment. Have you discovered this assignment? What are you doing presently? God ordained assignment or your own selfish agenda? See how He ordained.
Mar 3:14 — Mar 3:19 And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach, And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils: And Simon he surnamed Peter; And James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and he surnamed them Boanerges, which is, The sons of thunder: And Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Canaanite, And Judas Iscariot, which also betrayed him: and they went into an house.
Jesus’ special assignment for Peter apostle
Mat 16:16 — Mat 16:19 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Luke 5:10 And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.
Now to help believers of all ages and you in particular to endeavour to discover and fulfil only God’s purpose for your life, the blessed Holy Spirit used apostle Paul to write this all important exhortation.

See how others too discovered their specific callings and fulfilled them. So you too must follow their good example.
Act 9:10 — Act 9:16 And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord. And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth, And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight. Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem: And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name. But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name’s sake.
Acts 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

Act 26:12 — Act 26:18 Whereupon as I went to Damascus with authority and commission from the chief priests, At midday, O king, I saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and them which journeyed with me. And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest. But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee; Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.
Receive grace to discover and do God’s assignment for you now, for a glorious unending eternal rewards.
Friend, please don’t be tired to prepare for the dawning rapture. This is because it is the stepping stone to the marriage supper a forum where believers of all ages which must not exclude you shall be rewarded.

And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.
1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, inasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
Col 3:23 — Col 3:24 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
