Dearly beloved always remember, you are saved to serve Christ and advance His kingdom.
But then, their is something for you here and hereafter, if you conscientiously serve Him.
1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
Col 3:23 — Col 3:24 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
But then the major service you can render to Christ, is to ensure His vicarious sacrifice was not in vain, concerning you in particular. You must experience what He died for on the cross of Calvary. The Bible says, the husband man labouring must be the first partakers of the vine.
2 Timothy 2:6 The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.

It is painful to note that majority of those parading themselves as doing something for God, has not experienced biblical salvation. See what the Bible says.
Song of Songs 1:6 Look not upon me, because I am black, because the sun hath looked upon me:
my mother’s children were angry with me; they made me the keeper of the vineyards; but mine own vineyard have I not kept.
Many today wants to keep the vineyards of others while theirs are neglected. So make sure you experience biblical salvation first.
After this has been done, you ensure you become an epistle that when people look at your lifestyle, they will desire to follow Christ, without you even talking to them.
2Co 3:2 Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men

Beloved, you do this when you become example for believers in all things.
1 Timothy 4:12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
Doing this makes you to render acceptable and reasonable service to Christ.
Rom 12:1 — Rom 12:2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Beloved, there are three reasons why you are called to be doing this:
1. Because you determindly want to serve Christ with godly fear and trembling.
Psalms 2:11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
Heb 12:28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
2. Because of your realization that Christ through His death has bought your body for Himself.
1Co 6:19 — 1Co 6:20 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
3. Your determination to remain sanctified and blameless in readiness for the coming of the Lord.
1 Thessalonians 5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Philippians 2:15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and peverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
God’s grace shall avail for you to do all these and commensurate rewards shall be your portion from the Lord, here and hereafter in Jesus name.
